Woodys is a staple of Oildale in California. They have just about everything youd expect from a neighborhood little market- cigarettes, fountain soda, bottled and canned soda, chips, candy, milk, ice, etc.-but they also sell hard alcohol- and a good variety of brands. So if you are looking for a decent market to stop in & pick up some goodies, I recommend WOODYS LIQUOR

Quick friendly service shelves are always stocked and the liqueur variety cant be beat. They even keep cold bottles, of certain kinds of whisky and if u ask them to keep some of your favorite cold they will.

Its okay. Lots an lots of homeless people hangin out in front panhadling all the the time now. Thats not the stores fault. A lot of times youll get hit up for some chang before you can get to the door. Some times 2 or 3 times. Comin an goin. But its getting like that all over the place. It a good store though. People are nice.

Horrible prices, 20 dollars for a 12 pak of corona, dirty cluttered typical non American owned store.

Friendly service, Cold beverages and Wide selection of Liquor

Be careful here they seem to never charge you the same amount. Use cash no debit cards because I believe they double charged me on my debt card a couple of times. No one seems to know whats going on here.

The guy whos usually in there isnt necessarily mean but he isnt friendly either. Just no emotions get you in and out. And hes usually saying something in what ever language he speaks but I cant tell if hes talking to him self or if he has a VERY discrete Bluetooth in. Other than that they have most things youd need. Theyre pretty over priced too.

Yes this is an old favorite liquor store still open today that hasnt changed much inside good place to play the lottery.

I have lived in oildale my whole life. I have never been treated so rudely by someone working in a store. This guy even topped the workers at dollar general on Roberts Ln. I will never spend a penny at woodys liquor on N. Chester ave. They really need to do contiplate what it is they need to address about their customer service. I would have gave them no stars but u have to at least select one star

Nice place, very convenient, with an unusually broad range of products ranging from general household necessities to jewelry to a mind-boggling selection of snackables and other goodies. Oh, and very cold drinks too.

I go there everyday and buy something I love there new lottery machine

Its a good place to go for little things, soda, toilet paper, chips..that sort of thing. They also have excellent slupees.

Location isnt the greatest with free parking for this got an awesome awesome Mexican restaurant next door and they make the best burgers just got a little stop One Stop store across the street caddy corner from there it got a bar caddy corner from there and you just have access to place it right by extending School good place to wait for your kids

Very sketchy people work here. I used my bank card there and $250 was taken out of my acct. Never will go back.
