Ive gone once before a few years back. They did a good job on my pick up. Just dropped an f150 off for a leak repair. Mr. Jeff did a great introductory job. Took a look at my truck, informed me that there were a few cars infeont of mine so it would be a day or 2 till he gets to it. I Was fine with that, he let me park the truck there till its time came.Looking forward to getting muh truck fixed and back on the road. Will give another review after that. 🙏

For those of you who want great service I strongly suggest you use the auto place. They are so awesome to you when you go there. I chose them over Dallas Dodge. great job GUYS!!!!!

Jeff, the owner, is very knowledgeable, kind and a purist.I’d give more stars but, in my opinion, I think the process is lacking structure and it can be difficult to find the results you want to pay for.On a positive note though, the quality of work and affordability is great with the caveat of time management.

I love my mechanic shop!! They are very nice and will show you every step of the way what is wrong with your car. You are always greeted with a smile and Jeff is utterly amazing. I WILL NEVER take my car anywhere else as long as his doors are open.

The so call owner told me to come in when l call for an A/C . He said to add the A/C and labor will be 34 to 50 dollars. Never told me about paying for a diagnosis test. He compare his prices with the dealership. I have never seen this before. He took money from me with no work done. I went so where and did for less than what he was charging.. Beware of mechanics like this. Will not recommend him. Fraud.

I told him EXACTLY what was wrong with my car, he chose not to listen to what I had to say for whatever reason. He kept the car for three days, and I had to make the phone calls to him to find out what was going on with the car. He said it should cost $90 for the diagnostic. Lo and behold, it was EXACTLY what I said it was. I was told I was going to be charged for an extra hour. If he wouldve listened to what I had to say, he wouldve saved himself the time, and me the money. But oh no, he thinks he knows every thing. He uses his faith as something to hide behind, and make people think hes a good guy. If he was as good of a guy as he said he was, he wouldnt have screwed me over. I cant even get a word in edgewise with him, so its safe to say he definitely needs to work on learning how to listen. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!

Progressive Auto Care theyre the best place in Balch springs to take your car to get work done theyre honest they will not rip you off and theyll tell you straight up this car that you have youll be better off if you go buy a new one because I dont want to take your money because its not going to fix what you have that needs to be fixed theres not many mechanics around anymore that will tell you the truth that wont take your money just because they can because you dont know they will be honest with you hell tell you what your problem is and they will fix it and if they think that youre going to spend too much money and you can get it at a better rate or do something better they will tell you this guy I had my I had my thoughts about mechanics because most of them wont tell you the truth theyll tell you well you need this this and that or theyll break something cuz every time you go in there you have a week or so later something else needs to be fixed this place will tell you why that problem that you had and what caused it and tell you that you should fix all of it instead of just patching it you take it in for a diagnostics he will sit down afterwards and explain everything thats wrong with the vehicle you cant get that anywhere else you sure you can pay the dealership or go to one of these others fly by night places that are going to do a printout but this guy will sit down and explain to you what causes what and why I cant get that from anybody else this is the best place in town to get any kind of work done and if you cant do it hell tell you who can and you can trust his word

They always show me the old part and explain its misfunctioning. I would definitely recommend this shop. It is also very reasonable.

Has taking a Chevy Malibu a shop in Irving they couldnt find the problem the car a a po300 code random missfire, so we took the car to friendly chevrolet they were a ripped off water me to install a new transmission for $6,000 they also couldnt not find the reason for the missfire, so after giving up I finally took the car to progressive auto. PROGRESSIVE call me back with a detail diagnostic of the problem and the solution the car its working excellent. Thanks guy I dont know what would I have done without your help.

I love these guys.They r honest hard working Family Men. I have a 95 TOYOTA with 313672 miles. They have done a timing belt EGR valve Motor mounts and some oil changes. I wouldnt trust anyone but these Guys with my car. A+.

Everything about this business is professional. Jeff, the owner, always take his time to go over things with me to assure that I understand. I feel safe and not taken advantage of when I go to him. I bypass the dealership sometimes just to go to him. If I tell him that I’m going on a long road trip, he always tell me to bring the car in so he can check everything on it. I’ve had some horrible experience with a couple of mechanics but that’s not the case here.

I tried to gets service at this location but they keep pushing me away because they dont time to do repairs or state inspections very disappointing

Ive been taking my car to Progressive since last summer and its always great doing business with them. Very professional they only work in whats needed. Some places that you take your car to and you tell them whats wrong. Then they will say well you need this and that. Im like why are poking around on something that I did not say. I definitely recommend Progressive auto Jeff and his crews are great.

I took my SUV to the Guys at Progressive Auto, I was hesitant at first, of course, because Im a woman that knows nothing about cars ( I just drive) & some auto shops try to get over on my kind.. Progressive was nothing like that. I dropped my SUV off this morning 9am, barely running.. They had my baby running perfectly around 3pm. Not only did they keep me updated on the problems and solutions, but the price of labor was reasonable as well. They took Great of me, I would definitely recommend this Auto shop to Anyone in need of Service 💯

I have been dealing with the these people for over ten yes. I use to believe they where honest, God fearing people. The last few years they have change my opinion. I took my van in for major front end work. I got a quote and then researched it extensively. They where over a $100 less then anyone. I verified their quote with them then let them fix it. They did a good job. When I picked it up I was told sorry his son had miss quoted the price of the part. They charged me 110 more before I could get my keys. I just took my car up there and told them what it was doing and that I thought it was the fuel pump. their exact words were :worst case scenario it would cost $380:. When I went to get it. They told me it would be $552 because it took THEM 2 hours to figure out what was wrong with it. So just be prepared to pay at the very least $100 more then there quote . also they had my car for 4 days. Friends even saw them in it broken down on the street. They put over 15 miles on my car. It now has major scratches form a bush or something on the drivers side that they claim no knowledge of. I also found something plastic in my seat. First they did not even know what it was. Then they said it went to the battery and I did not need it. That it was trash.I know for a fact that they never even unhooked the battery because all my stations were still set. I will never be going back. I was warned. Next time I will listen.

I had my car towed to the Ford Dealership, they said just to get my car back on the road $1,700.00... WHAT no way, so I called Progressive & spoke to Jerry & he quickly got me a quote. $206.00. So if you need a good auto repair I would definitely give these guys a call. My car has never drove this good. Amazing!!!!

If you want an awesome experience, fair pricing and honest service then this is your mechanic. Inadvertently left my rarely used Jaguar running for two days forgetting to shut it off - it’s now dead and won’t start. Thinking perhaps it ran out of gas or possibly a dead battery was not the problem. Had it towed to my usual mechanic - Downtown where it sat for four days with no avail. Had it towed to Progressive late Thursday evening right before closing. On Friday morning 11:00 Progressive was calling me telling me I could pick up my car! And, was only charged diagnostic fee - it was a fuse. Had I taken my car to Jaguar the repair cost would have been equivalent to a car payment. May God continues to bless these guys!
