Just had my son and daughters graduation party. LI Bagel Cafe did an outstanding job. Food was great. The staff that cooked and served the food were tremendous. If you were not aware that they did catering (and not just bagels) you should seriously consider them. Five Stars all around.

The bagels are huge and tasty. They are short staffed, like everything during this PanDoomic, and the line can get very long, however its worth the wait. The bagels are delicious and the workers are moving fast, despite the long line at peak times. You can easily miss it just before you pass under the LIRR trestle underpass, however its worth a stop!

We stopped in this bagel shop on a Sunday for a quick breakfast and will not be going back!We ordered 2 turkey, lettuce and tomatoe sandwiches on a roll, that had 4 pieces of turkey each, lettuce, and a few slices of tomatoe and were charged $12 a sandwich!! When I asked the employee why it was so much, he advised me that turkey bacon is charged separately, because it was turkey . For $25 we could have ate at a diner, and next time we will!!Definitely overpriced for what we ordered.If your looking for a decent Bagel place, at a decent price, this isnt the place to go!!

Always order over Grub Hub. Delivery usually on time.. bagels always fresh. Spreads very fresh, I like there veg cream cheese. Even the baked salmon spread is consistently delicious which is rare. The wife loves the sunflower seed flagels. I hope they keep up the good work.

Always good customer service. Great to be able to buy fresh bagels in the morning. Only complaint is the eggs in the breakfast sandwichs. Eggs dont taste like fresh eggs from the shell. Eggs seem to be the liquid egg mixture.

The ONLY reason to go to this shop is for the convenience of your logistical journey and the somewhat ease of access to parking. Other than that, the food is mediocre (a typical bagel shop to be sure) and the service is, in a word, TERRIBLE! My gripe: we placed an order over the phone, once they finally picked up that is, and over 30 minutes later we went to pick it up. There were 3 people off the order line waiting for their already placed order. I made several attempts to gain the attention of 1 of 3 counter workers to no avail. I settled on the fact that they are all working to fulfill these peoples’s orders. Over 5 minutes later, with the shop empty of other customers, I, the sole solitary customer, just stood in front of the register waiting a LONG while to be approached, but was ignored till finally the guy asked me if I was being served. I replied curtly “no” and then told him of my phone order. Imagine my surprise that my phone order had not yet been submitted to the cook and mind you the order was placed over 30 minutes prior! Seeing my incredulity and consternation plainly visible on my face, he then has the nerve to say “how lucky I was he took the order over the phone in the first place as just 30 minutes ago he was short staffed” and that “he would normally have me come into the store to personally place the order!” Way to go guy! Way to go to make your repeat customer the fall guy for your own incompetence by trying to shame him for your lack organization! There was no apology or acknowledgment for their lack of attentive service to me at all. The guy did bring my order outside to me as I was venting on the phone to my family at the disrespect and poor service I had just received again. Well, Bagel Cafe, you lost my family’s future business to your other competitors which are conveniently located around Baldwin.Oh, and here’s a free tip…toasting a bread item such as a bagel includes the significant browning of the WHOLE item not just a little browning on the edges! To these people requesting a bagel “well done” is exactly the same as asking for a “very lightly” toasted bagel.

This place use to be good. Bagels are great but…………Now this place is so unprofessional. Most of the people working there are young and very rude. They pick up the phone as if they were picking up their personal phones and talking to their friends. This is the ONLY place I ever called and get told that they don’t take phone orders to pick up.They need different people working there or change management because it’s a mess right now.

Very cramped location with decent to pretty meh customer service, Standout employee was Reyes as he was incredibly nice and attentive.

This used to be my favorite bagel spot, staff were pleasant, food always done perfectly and in a timely manner (especially when you called it in) but now! With these new workers everything is terrible, the food isn’t cooked the same, the staff are very rude and just don’t care and it’s super sad to see such a good bagel shop go down hill. I wouldn’t purchase here if I were you.

Great friendly service, however if I had to guess on the freshness of the bagel I would say it was a least a day old, and they were very, very....conservative .....with the amount of butter they put on the bagel.

Its a hidden gem actually been in Baldwin for sometime and was taken there last minute to get bagels and muffins for guests who stayed over. Quick, friendly, affordable and the muffins were absolutely delicious.

Just as good as the other locations just not as visible from the road . Store is small inside and parking can sometimes be tight.

I did not care for the bagels at all. Myself and my friend literally ate half a bagel each and did not even eat the rest of it..barely any seeds on the bagels and it had zero flavor... a lenders bagel is even a step up from these. I also prefer places that cook the bagels and food how you ask them to do it. If I ask for something very dark toasted my bagel shouldnt come out as white as when it went in. Pretty busy for a Sunday morning, they have a decent amount of parking but it does get filled up. The cream cheese was ok and they do give a very good amount on the bagel.. the employee who took the order was VERY UNFRIENDLY and short with us which honestly sometimes I dont even care as long as the item is very good but these bagels are in the top worst Ive ever had sadly.. definitely wouldnt recommend or return

Unfortunately when we arrived the grill was closed for breakfast. If anything, have an extended grill time or prepped breakfast meals. Also, please get gluten free bagels,breakfast sandwiches etc.. I would be there alot.

I visit this store literally every morning, and love it so far, the level of professionalism and attentiveness is very pleasant!! specially Reyes, his very friendly with every costumers no matter the situation he keeps a smile on his face, he cannot afford to disappoint his clients, also try to help and make your experience of high quality.His good attitude towards clients makes them use the companys service again and recommend it to others!

Baldwin Bagel Cafe is definitely one of my most favored deli’s. Reyes is a phenomenal employee, every time I walk in he always greets with a professional manner. I’ve not only experienced, but I’ve witnessed his undivided attention given to the client, my order has yet to be messed up when taken by him!

Good fresh Bagels but very pricey especially if you buy a breakfast sandwich or basically any sandwich. It is convenient as being right by the train station

I would give it a higher rating but they have slipped. First off, their prices are too high especially for breakfast. I paid 7 dollars for egg whites and turkey. It used to be 3.20. I could get the same from the local bodega for less and get more on the sandwich.

One of my favorite bagel spots to go to. Started getting platters like the French toast more often. Solid quick breakfast choice. I always call my orders in ahead of time.

Customer service was horrible. The store hours was until 3:30. I came at 2:15. Doors were closed, the representative saw me and ignored me. I signal to get his attention by knocking on the door that I called, but he refused to speak.

I love Bagel Cafe....Julius and his team of employees are great!!!! I go for breakfast and they always bring lunch to BMW....on days when my colleagues can’t get out for lunch because the dealership is so busy it’s great to go upstairs and see that Bagel Cafe has been there!!!!

This is the Long Island Bagel Cafe.The bagels are as they should be, fresh, large, crispy, and soft in the middle. Flavoring can be sparse.They always offer a coupon.They label the doors as enter and exit to control the crowds, but many customers find reading challenging.The parking lot is small and inconvenient but it continues in the back.The store is set back from the street so you could drive right past it and not notice.

I really like Baldwin Bagel Cafe! I find myself coming here more often now for breakfast. Ive been here numerous times and the majority of it I order the bacon and egg on a bagel. The sandwiches are good also, the staff is friendly, and its has become my morning go to spot!

Fresh tasty bagels

Food is basic so no issue there but the wait times are ridiculous. I order the simplest fastest breakfast sandwiches and more than half the time the wait is at least 7 minutes but often about 10 or more. That same order anywhere else is like 2-4 minutes. Scrambled eggs and ham on a bagel ( not even toasted ). Wait time today....10 minutes, no exaggeration and no more than 2 people before me. I’ve decided this was last day I give them my money.

My husband and I have been good customers of this store for over 3 years. We visit frequently and they have consistently given us the wrong order, forgot an item, or made the order completely wrong. They have not been able to find a decent staff that is capable of making a proper egg sandwich. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the manager (I think his name is Tom) has always done the right thing and fixed it but, still, we will not be giving our money to them any longer.

We like their turkey bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwiches. Fast and great service!

Well my friend shops here every week to purchase bagels for our bible meeting. I am no fan of bagels everyone at the meeting loves it including my son, and I eat only the plain bagel. There are also coupon in your local newspaper for those who love bagels.

The bagels are made there so they are always fresh. They taste great! Service is usually pretty good, every staff has a bad apple but other then that Ive never had an issue. The can be a little pricey but its worth it. Im a fan of the whole wheat bagels!

The food here is good and I always get excited when going there for breakfast. They have many different varieties of bagels AND rolls! I had an onion, poppy roll the other day which definitely enhanced my breakfast experience. Their pastries are good as well, moist but not too sweet. The service here is also excellent. I came once at 2pm and breakfast was done, but they went above and beyond by making 2 breakfast sandwiches for us themselves sans cook. One thing to keep in mind is that unless you are looking for it, you will not find it. Its in an odd corner on a busy street, so keep a lookout. I will definitely come back.

Would have given better rating, but namagment keeps the beverages coolers barely above room temperature. This store constantly is full of customers, so they clearly arent hurting. Simply a greedy move by management to save a few dollars and showing no appreciation for their business..

This place is an embarrassment to the bagel Café chain of stores. This store is way too small for the amount of business that they do, and when you go there on a weekend the place is jam packed, understaffed, and not only does the service take a while, the food is not that great. That being said any other bagel café on Long Island would get five stars.

I love their bagels. The egg everything bagel is my favorite. Their breakfast boxes are such a great deal. It comes with a bagel, eggs, hash browns and a choice of breakfast meat, as well as a small coffee. Their coffee is really good too.Handicap accessibility is fair. Its usually really crowded at times, but if youre going at a non peak hour youll have an easy time maneuvering through.

The store front says WE DELIVER. Yet EVERY time you call. Hi. im placing an order for delivery. and their response..Oh, we arent delivering today! what kind of place only delivers occasionally? Not to mention they usually get the orders WRONG or items are usually missing! Im so annoyed by this place. Very Inconvenient.

Always getting the orders wrong. Two scrambled eggs with bacon cheese salt and pepper. Easiest most common egg sandwich there is, stop putting ketchup on my sandwich.

Food is great! Freshly made daily and you can taste it! The only reason why I didnt give them 5 stars is because the customer service can be bad. Its not all of the employees, most of them are great. There is one girl who is always rude and will hang up the phone on you when you call. I believe her name is Merci.. Im not sure because she mumbles her name when she answers the phone. She greets you with a nasty glare and gives attitude and bad vibes when taking your order etc. if it wasnt for her nasty attitude this place would get 5 stars from me. Makes me think twice about coming here.

I used to enjoy going here but the accuracy has gotten awful in the last 2 years. My wife is an ovo-lacto-vegetarian and I consistently order the same thing when I go, a whole wheat flat with egg whites, black pepper and sliced tomato. On 3 occasions now, we have found bacon in her sandwich. The last straw was today when I caught it before leaving the store.I arrived at the store at 9:05 and my food was ready (incorrectly) by 9:16.Instead of immediately replacing the sandwich and making it priority for a customer that was in the store for a prolonged period of time, it took them until 9:42 to get my food to me and get me out the door. Literally 26 minutes to make 2 egg whites. I also had to remind them to please use a different bagel as the original bagel would have had bacon grease on it.All of this wouldnt have been a big deal if my wife wasnt already in a rush to be at a 10am class. Now my wife is upset, Im upset, my 2yr old son is upset and the day is ruined because of it.Its not about the food, its about how your actions can affect the day of others.I was given a card with stamps on it for a free sandwich. I ripped it up when I got home. I wont be returning.Oh, and my wifes replacement sandwich... it had bacon on it.

I places and order at 10:00 am I knew they were busy, it was a rainy day I get it, I call back now at 11:30 the lady tells me the driver just went out, only couple of minutes more, fine. The driver called me at 11:45 to tell him the address again he could not read the handwriting Ok, we then call back 12:00 pm and the man on the phone tells me the driver just went out, no I’m annoyed I waited over two hours for their food and when I finally get it, I didn’t think this was such a process beacause it was only three sandwiches. I decided to then go to the store myself because it’s literally 5 minutes away when I get there they placed my order again and forget my ice coffee and my sandwich, and the girl with the short hair and glasses was rude and lazy she should not be working there. I will never come here again. And everything was $18.00 Not getting delivery from here ever again.

This place is my favorite go to bagel place in all of New York. Its a little shop hidden off to the side of the road, but once youve found it, you are rewarded with such good bagels. The staff isnt the greatest, but youre not going here for them, youre going to get great bagels.

I want there for a simple bagel had a person taking my order that was so rude wasn’t even paying attention toward a customer since were screwed up my whole order I asked for coffee he gave me a half-and-half coffee meaning he put more half-and-half and coffee I said five sugars he put eight sugars I guess this guy did it on purpose Or he must’ve been having a bad day then I asked him for a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and jelly and bacon he decided to meet me a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with extra extra extra butter and only two slices of bacon With the thinnest layer of jelly unbelievable the worst breakfast ever I would not recommend this to any of my family members or friends this place suck🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Food(I hope) is ok but guy helping me wasnt too bright. After I told him what bagel I wanted he never asked if I wanted anything else just gave me a total. When I finally gave him $$, he gave me too much change. Luckily Im honest. And I asked the guy (white guy w/beard) to add milk to tea AFTER he put hot water in but apparently he forgot. Ill go to Dunkin Donuts tomorrow!
