A very unique shop! If you like antique shopping or flea market shopping, you have both here. The place looks small on the outside, but is quite large inside. There is so much stuff here, you may need to ask for help and they are very willing to help. If not, you can browse for as long as you like.

I seem to disagree with most reviews for this place. If youre looking for true antique shopping this aint the place. This is more of a flea market or bazaar. I live close and have frequented a lot. There have been a few gems but mostly you can go to the local flea market and be just as satisfied.

Complete false advertisement, offering thousands of dollars, also accepting costume jewelry. I bought my items in to be looked at and was offered $120. Is he serious?? Jewelry included Anne Klein pearls with 14K, a Gucci watch in addition to other nice jewelry. In the ad a quilt was mentioned sold at $40,000 and mine was not even looked. Im completely disgusted that I wasted my time and gas coming to this place!

This is a great local antique shop in Fells Point! They have a huge space, with everything from $1 jewelry, to more expensive collector antiques. Im usually here for the good deals on unique jewelry, but have also walked out with really neat tea sets and vases. Keep in mind they are only open on weekend afternoons.

If you have a vacant house that still has some of your property remaining inside ..BEWARE. The Antique Man responded to a call from someone who represented themselves as the owner and purchased many antique items from the home. Most of the items were packed in totes and stacked to be moved. He went through out the entire house and bought anything of value including antique clocks, glassware and jewelry. . At no time did he ask the person for proof that he had the right to dispose of the items. When I found out about the theft I called him, days after the theft, and he told me he had disposed of the items. By law he only had to keep the stuff for 10 days. He refused to provide me with a listing of what he took so I could not an insurance claim. So he paid a know criminal next to nothing for my possessions that belonged in my family for many years. Since he made 2 trips to the house I can only assume he knew the value of the things he took and was EXTREMELY rude when I ask him if he could at least tell me what was taken. When I questioned the police I was advised that the bill of sale was written up to show lots of items ...not the actual items. Considering The Antique Man told me he was in a neighborhood with many drug users I would have thought he would have been more wary of the criminal selling my possessions. I can never get back the items given to me by many past generations of my family but The Antique Mans nonchalant attitude made the loss even worse.

I regularly frequent this shop and happen to LOVE it and and the owners. They are always more than courteous to me and more often than not, give me great deals on items, especially when I buy multiple items at once. Anytime Ive asked to see an item, I have always been helped quickly and never had an issue with same. I do understand that they sell antique and vintage items so I do expect items to be a little banged up but thats half the reason you buy old stuff right? For the history? Not to mention the store will hold items and work out payment plans if need be. Even if youre not looking to buy anything, just popping in for a walk around the store is ALWAYS fun and exciting!

Love this place and the owners, however the hours are terrible. I live out of state and only get to the area once maybe twice a year. Only open Sat and Sun until 5pm is no way to cater to a broad clientele.Currently having lunch across the street from the place disappointed yet again.

I keep calling bc on Google the number I called is listed under the business name antique man, who claims on his website to give an exaggeratted amount and pays top dollar for any and all antiques and some vintage items. I have a mystery box full that I need some expertise for appraising dates and ballpark amounts for these items. Sooo... I called... and a man picked up, I asked is this the antique man? ... ...click... .... right on! I thought as I called back frusterated to tell this man if its not a FREAKING business anymore, speak up Or IDK sayyy TAKE IT OFF OF FREAKING GOOGLE, YOU IDIOT. thank you, GOOD DAY.(PS)Dont take my grammar and punctuation serious, its a review not an English literature essay... I SAID GOOD DAY!

Very disappointed with the Antique Man. I inquired on purchasing a table + set of chairs for quite a bit of money. There was a large coffin on the top of the table and after insisting on seeing the entire table, I was told several times the rest of the table was in great condition. Upon renting a truck and coming to pick up the set I discovered the table was in very rough condition (very deep grooves and scrapes). He became extremely defensive in my dislike, although did pay for the cost of my truck and my deposit was returned. I do respect that, however, throughout the entirety of the process the Antique man was quite rude, defensive, and frankly, someone I dont want to support. I will not return.
