We had been looking for a while. We traveled as far as New Jersey and down to Virginia looking for a while for cars. We noticed hertz’s car prices were far better than any other dealers. Some of their cars seem to come in and sell fast so if you see something you like, call and be on top of it. Our salesman David was over the top helpful. We missed out on the first car we were interested in, but he made sure we got there in time to see and get the second one. The process was fast and simple. After we purchased our car many dealers had contacted us to see if we were still interested in any of their cars. When we told them the deal we got, all of them said they couldn’t have touched that price. Save yourself some time and just go directly here for a car.

Buying a used car is never easy, but this place just tanks the customer service and makes the entire process worse. Our sales guy, Nicolas, failed several times in giving us the correct information needed for financing, picking up the vehicle, or getting the purchase in order. He frequently disappeared to work with other customers who were not actually buying a car. We had been pre-approved by the bank, so this should have been an easy process. Hertz definitely made the experience more difficult than any previous buying experience.

The car purchasing process was easy however there were a few things dissatisfying the dealership does not have an on-site service center, nor do they clean your vehicle or fuel it once the purchase is complete. I was given one key with the option to buy a second key; in addition to this my car needed air filters replaced two days after purchasing the vehicle and the dealership would not cover the cost. Other than this the car drives perfectly. Take your time when purchasing your vehicle.

Had a great experience when buying my car. Sidney is a great salesman and checked on me after my purchase to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Only problem I had was when I called for a question and the salesman Morris answered. He told me my problem “wasn’t the end of the world” . I’d recommend working with anyone but Morris, he was very rude and sarcastic as if my problem was unimportant, he has Terrible customer service.

I visited Hertz this past Wednesday, and I must say..it was an AWESOME car buying experience! From the initial phone conversation, to the credit application, to the warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff (most specifically, Heather, Morris and Dre) ..everything was top notch! When going to purchase a vehicle, many people (myself included) think of a long, dragged out process, that oftentimes leaves one frustrated and discouraged; it is the COMPLETE and TOTAL OPPOSITE when buying a car at Hertz Car Sales! As prepared as I THOUGHT I was to make this a smooth a transaction as possible, there were a few things missing on my end. They were extremely patient with me, and helpful in helping me retrieve those things. In the end, I left with an amazing car that I absolutely love! I am hoping to be fortunate enough to be in the market for another vehicle in the not so distant future; there is ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION as to where Ill be going - HERTZ CAR SALES IN BALTIMORE!!

We got our car here awhile back. It was a 2017 Toyota with 45000 miles on it. We got it for an awesome price. The warranty that they have is also like a sigh of relief when it comes to minor accidents. And you know exactly what the car has been through. I would definitely come back in the future.

We recently had the pleasure of doing business with Roger, Brandon and Andre at this Hertz Car Sale location. From the moment we walked in, they were ready to help us make a deal on the car that we wanted. We wanted to finance through our credit union but because it was closed when we were there, we instead let the 3 amigos handle our financing for us. They actually came up with a lower rate than our credit union had quoted - something we did not think was possible. In addition to professional, courteous and very personable service, these guys stayed WAY past closing to get our deal done so we could drive back to our home in Virginia with our new car. Cant say enough good things about the way the whole thing was handled. If you need a car and dont really like to haggle over the price at a dealership, this is definitely the place to go..

Never again the worst. The car bought from them has been nothing but a problem. Its under warranty that the warranty company wont cover the pistons. I havent had the car a complete 90 days yet and had to have the timing chain replaced and the fuel induction fixed.

If you have to buy a vehicle, I am sure there are many good places but when one is as good as this one it has to be shared. I bought a 12 passenger van that is usually hard to find at a good price. Not only do they have good prices but the service exceeded all my expectations. The person who helped me was Morris. Even before I got there he was helpfull and attentive and sounded like he really wanted me in one of the vehicles from the get go. Long story short. Had a few issues and they were taken care of immediately. I would trust this place over any dealership just because they have a set price and wont try to scam you. They are very patient and they dont try to push you in any way. Thanks again Morris and Hertz.

This is the third time I bought a car from Hertz car sales. Once on the west coast and twice from the Baltimore location. I have been extremely satisfied each time. The cars are great quality. The staff is friendly and dont waste your time. And of course, the pricing is fantastic and there is no haggling. You get there, take a test drive, and if you like the car, you start the paperwork. What a great system. I highly recommend.

Decent prices, and fair acceptance of credit ratings, but be prepared to pay a 20% APR for financing. A bit too high for me.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Everyone we worked with was personable, knowledgeable and honest, but we had the extreme pleasure of working with Morris. I didn’t ever feel pressured once. The lot had a great variety of reasonably priced vehicles and both Morris and the Sales Manager, Ilya, worked hard to get us in the vehicle we wanted. Bought a car from there, but not a good experience, staff doesnt seems to care and take their sweet time. Didnt get the car which we wanted and ended up with another one. The cars they sell are rental cars and have been driven by a lot of different peoples and mostly driven roughly or not taken care of kind of cars. So be very careful what you buy from there, Better to rent first.....Would not recommend to anyone.

Sale person was very, very, helpful and knowledgeable. When I left with my new used car. I was smiling from ear to ear!! I have never experienced a car sale or heard of one like that before. Less then 2 hours, WOW! I highly recommend yhem. Try them and you will see!

When I sold my old car last year and bought a new to me car, the process was fine. It wasnt until almost a year later that I got a letter from the City of Baltimore letting me know my old car had been abandoned after having sold it to Hertz, and that Baltimore wanted me to pay for the cost of storage. Apparently when you sell Hertz a car, if its not worth much to them they ditch it somewhere even thought they have the title. Had to go through some hoops to get the information updated so that Hertz is on the hook for the cost, which is FAR more than what I got for the car in the first place. Sellers beware I guess.

Excellent service. There was not even a moment I felt pushed or rushed to make a decision. They were straightforward and the whole process took about 2 hours. Best experience ever! Also, the finance manager was very helpful, and it was very easy to complete the paperwork.

Process started out great with our first salesman and I got approved quick. But come time to buy, one of the managers kept pressuring my partner to cosign and became rude when we insisted that wasnt what we wanted to do. Prices were inconsistent when Id ask how much it was to drop or keep various things. The worst part was after paying them to complete my registration, the manager kept coming up with excuses for my tags not being done. He refused to call me back even though Id driven back twice to pick them up. There was always a reason he had stepped out last minute for coffee and no one else could give me my tags but a manager. You only have about a week to pick your tags up from them or else that money is pocketed and youre stuck paying again going to MVA. I had to call up complaining and just walk in. The tags were suddenly produced by another manager. Buying a car turned into a two week process of me constantly calling them and getting no call back after my purchase. I Wouldnt make this place my first choice but if you go definitely take someone else with you. This place may suit you more if you dont have any other options and dont have much money. I am happy with my choice in car but the process was way more stressful than necessary.

The prices here are unbeatable and the process is really easy and fast. Osaid was awesome. He was extremely personable and helpful with finding us a good car. Would definitely recommend buying a car here and saving some time and money.

My experience with Osaid was great. He was very helpful considering I was driving from so far away (NE,DC). It was great knowing there were no additional hidden fees unlike ALL of the other dealers I had visited. I test drove the car Tuesday and returned to purchase the car Thursday and it was incredibly helpful that I could e-mail my information ahead of time so I wouldnt have to sit around all night filling out paperwork - I was in and out of there! I am a first time car buyer. I had an enjoyable car buying experience here. Roy and the whole team made the process very easy. I came to this location with the intent to buy a specific car I saw online, so there wasnt really any need for the team to sell me or assist me in the decision-making process. Roy was very accommodating in driving me back from CarMax where I sold my old car to inviting me back up to the dealership after I purchased the car so I get two more things taken care of. Friendly the whole time! I felt informed during the whole process, and everyone was patient in answering my questions and explaining the next steps. Good salesman George. I bought Nissan Altima 2018 on July 9 2019. I also bought 4 years extra warranty. Long story short I could not even pass safety inspection in state of Virginia. Because Airbag light was on. I called the manager and informed the situation. I went the Nissan dealership near me in fairfax va. They replaced everything about The airbag. The airbag light is still on. From July until now I have been back to the Nissan dealership 6 or 7 times. They can’t fix the problem. I spoke to Hertz manager for exchange or refund. He refused to do that. Only offered me for Trade to another car which I will end up loosing thousands of dollars which is not the fault of mine. They sale me a defect car. I have been trying to talk the manager left many messages have not called me back. I am so frustrated about to file law suit. I can’t drive unsafe car with my family. I can’t afford loosing tens of thousands dollars. Hertz can afford dealing with this car. I already spoke to my lawyer to file law suit. I will advise never to buy used car from hertz or any where else. Is better to buy brand new car.

This was my first time buying a car and Im a 22 year old female so I was definitely very nervous about being pushed around by car salesmen and the whole process in general was pretty scary to think about. I bought a 2014 Hyundai Elantra from Hertz and I can happily say that my experience was 100% positive! Dan and Buzz were so helpful and explained everything and answered all the questions I had. I felt zero pressure and I wasnt shown any cars other than the one I had expressed interest in. I was prepared to buy with a loan from my bank but I actually ended up getting a better interest rate through Hertz! Great place.

I have been on the search for a vehicle for 2 years, and have not encountered a dealership with better deals or customer service than Hertz. PERSONABLENESS - The first time I went to Hertz, I spent the entire day looking at different cars, and going on test drives. I never felt rushed or ignored by the Hertz employees, and they were even willing to sit down with me to compare multiple makes/models online so I had a better idea of what my options were. The employees at Hertz are extremely down to Earth and easy to talk to.2. WILLINGNESS - A week after finding out that the car I was interested in had been sold, Roy contacted me to let me know that they were getting another vehicle in that was the same model and color, with similar mileage. I was able to come in for a test drive before they listed the car online, and Roy made it a point to be available whenever it was most convenient for me. They even matched the price to the previous vehicle that had sold.3. PATIENCE - I talked to several Hertz employees during my car buying experience and they all took the time to make me feel comfortable and listen to my questions and concerns. This review is long overdue - I had an amazing experience buying a car from Osead at this location. He was everything I needed in a salesman because he didnt try to sell me on anything. He listened to what I wanted, made some careful recommendations, and made sure I was comfortable with all aspects of the car buying process. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the inventory on the lot and was able to quickly grasp what I was looking for in buying a used car.In all seriousness, I cant believe more people dont buy used cars from Hertz. Their selection is great, they sell top notch cars at prices that are impossible to beat. I bought a 2016 Ford Escape at $5000 below Kelly Blue Book, and within a month put over 10K miles on it. It runs like a dream - the only reason its seen the shop is for an oil change.Couldnt be happier with the car or with Osead. The sale was brisk. Thats about it. Your 10 minutes of local test driving will not reveal all the problems of the car. Their cars get touch ups from Pepboys to barely meet the state requirements which does not inspect the vibration and noise. If you buy a car here, expect to spend several hundred dollars more right away on all tires, alignment and so on. So the true cost will be lot higher than what they are advertising. Sales people there are not courteous at all. One sales guy kept talking on the phone while test driving. The manager there lies also. It is not a good place to buy

Paid $9300 for a car that had damaged window seal, damaged fender liner, damage AC dail, missing antenna, missing floor mats. They are trying to copy CarMax model but failed misrably. $9300 is a lot of money for a car like this. I will not be buying from them again.Dont trust them, they claim there cars are certified used, check the car well, take it to a mechanic to be Hertz ripped me off, they sold me a canabolized car, missing floor mats, antenna, wheel liner, damaged windshield wipers, damaged doors, the list goes on.I trusted them because of their name, I didnt expect them to be so dishonest

As soon as I came in I was greeted promptly. I had an awesome sales representative named jarral osaid. He helped me every step of the way giving his personal car buying experience and insight . In general he was just a very cool guy I would definitely recommend this place.

The salesman I interacted with seemed to be very nervous and pushy, extremely eager to make a sale. This was despite telling him that I wasnt ready to buy on the exact day I visited (I wanted to test drive the vehicles I had seen online). *Also of Note* This location doesnt offer Hertzs 3-day pre-purchase rental program. The same salesman explained to me that the way Maryland law is written, we [Hertz Car Sales] have to be in possession of the vehicle at all times before its sold. Very strange.

Purchased a car here about 3 weeks ago. To date dashboard lights appear like Christmas. Supposedly I should have powertrain warranty left, additionally I purchased extended warranty. Took vehicle to dealership (Dodge) and problems beyond belief with total cost over $500. Wonderful customer service or so it seems. So this is Part 1 if they dont pay Litigation procedures will begin for selling me a lemon. Stay tuned. Part 2 all issues resolved timely as promised

The Hertz car dealer in Baltimore sold us a total lemon. The car is under warranty, and we have had it serviced three times. The problem is still not fixed, and the Hertz car dealer in Baltimore refuses to take the vehicle back or exchange it for another. Manager is extremely rude. We are very disappointed as we thought Hertz would be a reliable car dealer.UPDATE: I followed up to the response from owner below. Complete waste of time. They did nothing but give me the runaround. Didnt even have their basic facts straight. For example, they told me they could not offer an exchange because it has been more than six months since I bought the car when it has only been slightly more than two. This dealer sold me a total lemon. It leaks badly, and I havent been able to get it fixed. What a horrible company. I will never do business with Hertz again.

We shopped around a lot of new car dealers and some used car dealers. Gave Hertz a try and was very happy with the experience. We were lucky to get a sales person (Osaid J) without a wait, and he was the best.He was patient, positive and productive. I took a list of 10 cars from their website and he pulled 9 of them one by one for short test drives. We narrowed down to two and took the long test drive and picked our car within an hour. Great selection, quality cars, affordable prices.Kudos to Osaid for even keeping our 5 year old occupied by playing rock paper scissors while we tried the cars.Financing was in house, quick and efficient but you can get better rates at credit unions. Cars come with a year of basic warranty and road side assistance. Most cars come with factory warranty so no big deal.Documentation was a little lengthy than Car Max, but not too bad. It was an hour to pick the car and an hour for finance and documentation. Processing fee, tax, registration, title, lien fee were all standard Maryland rates.Next time I need a car, I sure will return and sing.... Osaid can you seeee.. I need another SUVeee..

Car buying is never fun, unless you buy from Osaid at Hertz. Other salespeople at other dealers gave me the run around, added on $600+ processing and reconditioning fees. Not Osaid at Hertz. The dealer did offer us a few add on things like gap coverage, road hazard, etc. However, Osaid was not overly pushy on these items, and they were not snuck into the sales contract at the last second. The process was very fast and straight forward, considering he was making a sale with us and one other customer at the same time. This guy knows how to hustle and was very personable. 6/5 stars if possible.

Hertz Car Sales Parkville:They are out of business but I am still rollin in the same clunker from 5 yrs ago. I will replace but saving for retirement. Only 170,000 miles. Rick Boblits, the general sales manger took care of financing and giving me a trade in for my old clunker and Buzz completed the process.
