Delicious coffee in a cool urban space. Quick, friendly, will definitely return! Barista knew the beans that had been used for each of their offering that day (and it was different for drip, espresso, iced and cold brew). The beans are sustainably sourced and the owner is passionate about consumer education (the website is full of useful information).

I have heard about this place since I moved to Baltimore. Im so glad that I finally got the chance to go! Its a very relaxing, cute little place that is pup friendly! I had the Harbor East Latte with oat milk and it was delicious!! Nutty but not too sweet. My husband had the hibiscus lemonade. It was a little sweet for my liking but he loved it. The blueberry scones were incredible! Perfectly crunchy and soft! Staff were super friendly. Will be coming back

A beautiful and wonderful place to study and relax and the coffee is delicious and I consider it one of the best places for specialty coffee in Baltimore.

Locally owned and operated, super friendly people and 💣 cold brew. The spot has an industrial feel and good tunes. Great for getting work done or business meeting. Not the spot if you’re looking for a huge meal.

What a wonderful staff with equally wonderful coffee. I had a pour over of the FTO Natural Ardi and it was juicy and well balanced. When they declared Oat milk the superior milk, they cemented the fact that we’d definitely be coming back!! We got to try a sample of the Columbia Laboyano, which is also excellent. If you’re looking for a latte, I highly recommend the Harbor East latte, it has Macadamia syrup to give it a nice light sweetness.

We went for breakfast but were a little disappointed because they mainly had hot and cold drink.

I got an iced vanilla latte and my partner got a cappuccino. We both loved our drinks. The baristas told us a bit about the shop and were really friendly. Also seems like it’d be a great place to get some work done when you can sit there on the weekdays.

Happened upon this place when I was out Christmas shopping. I assumed it would be a long wait with one person working, and 3 customers in front of me in line, but it was super quick. Got the peppermint mocha, it was absolutely excellent. Note- a steep flight of stairs to get there.Highly recommend this coffee shop!

My partner visited the shop while in Baltimore and thought it was so good that she returned again the next morning and bought a bag to take home to me in NYC. This is some GREAT coffee. I have the Brazil IPE and make it in my chemex. One of the most enjoyable coffees Ive ever had, and Ive traveled quite a bit.

Fabulous coffee! We tried a cold brew, pour over and drop coffee. All three were great. Bought a bag of coffee for the house too!

My girlfriend and I have now been twice. The first time, I ordered a vanilla latte that was overly sweet and tasted of artificial vanilla. The second time, I ordered a shot of espresso which was under-extracted and acidic. Both times, my girlfriend ordered an iced americano and had the same problem. The most redeeming quality of the shop is the staff, who were quite friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere inside and the mural on the garage are also great. Overall, a cute shop with terrible espresso.

What makes a coffee shop is the atmosphere and the staff. Coffee is up there too, but one can have great coffee with terrible service. Aveley EXCELS at coffee, atmosphere, and staff quality. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel welcome and at home. Being that I just moved to Baltimore, it’s great to find somewhere that I can regularly visit for fantastic coffee. The first sip of cold brew with oat milk gave me the reprieve I needed from the extreme heat and humidity of the day.Definitely visit Aveley if you are in the Baltimore area, you sure won’t regret it!

Me and my boyfriend have come a couple of times now to this little coffee shop and it’s adorable! We usually get serviced by a super nice and cheerful lady! Personally am not a coffee drinker so cannot speak much on that ( I get chais) and they have a small selection of baked goods that changes every time we come. Service is great and fast! (Currently no place to sit in due to current situation) parking is on the street across from orange theory fitness. Highly recommend!

Was in Baltimore for a week for a procedure at John’s Hopkins. The food at the hospital was actually pretty good but the coffee was lacking. Aveley Farms Coffee was a breath of fresh air. Tried their americano, cold brew, and their oat milk Latte. All we’re exceptional. I come from a family of coffee roasters and home roast myself and everything they made was just as good as I make at home.

Hard to find but when we called the lady met up with us downstairs that spoke volumes. We also met the owner and he was pleasant to talk to you. You can tell the place is very well taken care off and very clean. Coffee was very good as well. Being visitors from out of state we cane based on reviews and definitely you wont go wrong! Highly recommend it. Thank you for a great experience.

Stumbled upon this place walking and so glad I did. I ordered the Autumn Spice Latte, as it’s seasonal and has hints of Maple and Cinnamon perfect for the last day of November. The latte was so tasty and soul warming! Very clean place and has the feel of having coffee in someone’s kitchen. They also have water if you wish but I say keep that coffee flavor for as long as you can!

I stop here often on my way to work. The barista team is so friendly. Great coffee to go and am trying their beans at home as well. Love when they have Ovenbird pastries too!

Serious barista skills at this new spot in the Fells/Harbor East area. It’s a pretty small area for working but the coffee is great and it’s very relaxing (I was here on a slow day, so had the sitting area basically to myself).

Stopped by Aveley during a quick day trip from DC — I hit a few other coffee shops in Baltimore that day and this was easily my favorite! Great cold brew and roasts, wonderful hospitality, on-point atmosphere, and very knowledgeable roasters. Ask for the Cascarilla!

Discovered this spot while in town for thanksgiving. Legit coffee shop with a simple set up. Espresso is some of the best I’ve had. Love that they roast in house. Brownie points from me who’s a home roaster and coffee aficionado. Friendly staff who chatted me up about the shop, the owner and the roaster. Can’t wait to come back.

Loved stopping by this cool new spot when we were in town visiting Harbor East recently! The vibe is very welcoming, relaxed, and clean. The staff is super friendly & knowledgeable, and I thought it was so cool that they have their coffee roaster right there in the shop. The coffee is very unique and delicious, we even bought beans to take home with us. I would definitely recommend this place and we will for sure be back next time we are in town!

The team running this hidden Baltimore gem are just as exceptional as their drinks. On a crazy pandemic work day, I was short staffed and in back to back meetings. I tried the seasonal “autumn spice latte” and it was superb, would definitely recommend for an afternoon pick-me-up. The friendly staff are what make this place a gem. My new go-to cafe when working from home! Coffee + Wifi are super strong. The space is comfortable and cozy with multiple outlets to save my poorly charged laptop. If youre stopping by, I recommend their iced coffee --- you always get a healthy pour!

This place is a hidden gym. By far the best coffee in the entire city of Baltimore, possibly on the entire East Coast. They do it right. Their coffee is well flavored. I never get jitters when I drink it. It’s fresh as can be. They roast right there in the building. The barista‘s are always awesome. They have one that I absolutely love, her name is Kat. She will take great care of you and have the biggest best personality! She is so friendly and gives great recommendations for coffee. I just made their coffee our house blend at my restaurant. This place is special!

This isnt the type of place to go to for a nice drink unless you like plain ones and nothing special but make sure you are clear about it. They have nice beans and are friendly but they make mistakes. They dont have larger sizes than 12oz and rarely do iced drinks. Asked for one thing and get the complete opposite. I honestly just prefer to walk to Ceremony instead.

These people take pride in their coffee and it really shows. I go to some coffee shops in the city that seem like they couldnt care less about crafting the drinks with care.Avaley Farms cares and I really appreciate that.Staff is always super friendly as well!

Really love the coffee here, especially their mochas. My one suggestion would be for them to use coffee ice instead of regular ice, so that the iced drinks dont get watered down. Very nice little place.

What a great place to grab a craft cup of coffee. I got the cappuccino, perfect earthy taste like you’d expect from a high-quality roaster. Super comfortable to work for an hour or so as well. 5 stars and will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful space and even better coffee. The barista was friendly and have me a great recommendation when I asked which coffee I should try on pour over. I havent had coffee this good in many months. There are plenty of tables to work at or enjoy time with a friend, and in the hour and a half I was there on a Sunday afternoon, it was generally quiet with chill music. This is absolutely my new favorite coffee shop, and I will be coming back soon.

John and Rob make great espressos and lates, I will definitely be back. Easy parking outside of the cafe and tucked away from Harbor east traffic. Cold brew was smooth and rich.

**Find this place on the corner of S. Eden and Aliceanna.**I love an up-and-coming gem and hesitate slightly to post b/c of this. But, this place deserves your business. Popped by here after a dentist appointment in Harbor East. The manager behind was very polite and offered some suggestions based on the criteria I presented (needed a caffeine jolt). The ambiance was great and shop was sparsely populated on an early afternoon. Coffee product was smooth, mild and just as needed. Will return, and soon!

Beautiful, spacious spot with extremely knowledgeable, friendly and passionate staff. Im more of a tea drinker than coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had more variety and unique brews than your standard black tea. Definitely plan to swing by again and try other drinks! Perhaps even dip my toes into coffee options.

So for this place, I didnt know of it being in Baltimore till around October. It was rather interesting for the location because it seemed like a warehouse in Harbor East area. Coming in, had gone through a set of stairs and the entrance was on the left. The atmosphere was quite modern when I came in, fitting for a coffee shop. Trying their pour-over with coffee roasted in-house, it was really good. Taking this into mind, as well as being approved by Sprudge, you cant go wrong with this if youre a coffee enthusiast. Will be getting some of their coffee beans at my next visit!

This is a new coffee shop just opened a couple weeks ago and the drinks taste absolutely great! The resting area and the whole environment is cozy and comfortable. Will definitely come back and enjoy the Harbor East latte again!

Ordered earl grey latte with oat milk. So creamy and smooth. They steep earl grey tea loose leaf, so the flavor is deep and rich, but not overwhelmingly so. Very, very good. Highly recommend.

Great local spot that is doing some pretty innovative stuff with their coffee. Its well worth the climb up the stairs to their shop where youll see a live roasting machine in action. Definitely will be back soon.

#1 tip: Its upstairs, make a left at the top. So excited for this place to open. I got an iced latte, the coffee flavor was great! There was ample seating, looking forward to coming back to study or work. Friendly, efficient service.

Really good dirty chai lattes! This place is always so quiet (in a good way) when I come in, and the space is beautiful. Lots of natural light and plenty of elbow room. I definitely recommend it for a quiet coffee date or study spot.

Stumbled upon this place on accident, and I am so glad I did. In the top 3 of cafe’s Ive visited in Baltimore. Is not too loud or crowded, staff is kind and prompt, and drink was delicious. Great place to get work done!

Very cute space, delicious drinks and friendly service! My only critique is that the music was quite loud and annoying for 8:45am when I arrived. I had to put headphones in to muffle it. But I’ll be back for sure!
