I came home to find a truck from the Baltimore Glass Company completely blocking my driveway despite plenty of parking in the area. The driver and his partner were working in a neighbors house, whose driveway abuts mine. I have frequently confronted my neighbor about his associates blocking my driveway. The driver from the Baltimore Glass Company was obviously not aware of my strained relationship with my neighbor, but they should of known not to block my driveway - they should have respect for my property. I told the driver that I should call his boss and inform him about this lack of respect. The driver flippantly invited me to do so pointing out the companys phone number on his truck. The driver obviously anticipated no problems with his boss, not even a mild chiding. I did call the company and told my story to a secretary who said the boss would call me back. He didnt. It seems like a lack of respect runs deep in this company. If you want to remain on good terms with your neighbors, or at lest not irritate a bad one, find a company that respects peoples property. Sadly the Baltimore Glass company is not one of them.

My experience with them this time was horrible! Ive been using them for years and I will never go again. The customer service was rude and unprofessional and it took them a week to repair 1 standard window sash. They also quoted a price when they took my deposit and charged more when I came to pick it up. I only used this place because in the past, theyve been able to turn projects around same day, or next day, but this time they acted like they had no idea when the project would be completed. I used to recommend this place for custom projects, but I wont do that again.

Used them for multiple mirror repairs for a local hotel. The work was excellent. I had no issues with the professional correspondence with any of the staff. My only concern was I was never notified when the work was completed. Because the work was essential for the operation of my business, timeliness was crucial. I had to hold up business until I knew if the work was completed. In this case, I called after I did not hear anything and learned the work had been completed earlier. I would highly recommend them for their services. I will make an emphasis for them to contact me as soon as the project was ready for pick up in the future.
So I just went into this shop to get a small glass for the front of my house. When I got in it took someone almost ten minutes to ask if I needed any help. The lady came out from the back with a nasty nasty attitude. She look at me for 5 seconds before she ask what I needed help with . She gave me nothing but attitude. A guy that was at the desk in the back had to come out and help me because she was having a bad day( not my fault). He kindly explained everything to me and helped me understand. They gentleman said to me that she deals with a lot of customers....like that’s and excuse to treat a customer like that. Anyway he was very kind and that’s why I gave it 2 stars. By the way. This was my first time being here. I’m never coming here again.
Purchased a glass table cover as a gift for my godmother who is a nail technician. It turned out great. They first asked me to bring the table in....HA....yeah ok. They took the measurements over the phone, gave me a quote and cut the glass. It turned out perfect. But the RECEPTIONIST...whew.....VERY poor customer service. BGC find somoene new because you are going to lose alot more business than I am sure you already have. Not a good look.
I took 1 frame to get tempered glass put in. Needless to say after receiving the one i took 2 more back to get done. Great company to deal with. Super nice
My order included delivery. I called them around the time they said it would be ready. After they confirmed the order was at their store my glass table top was delivered in less than a half hour. My wife is very happy. Happy wife, happy life. I will recommend Baltimore Glass to anyone. Thank you.
Ordered mirror came Wednesday had clear glass today nothing now have to wait 3 days for refund. Poor incompetent business.

Would highly recommend. A glass panel in our door broke as I was leaving for work in the morning, and they were able to get someone out immediately and had the job done within a few hours. The guy on the phone even took the time to explain the pros and cons of different options when I called just as they were opening in the morning. For small jobs, be aware that they may have a minimum, but everyone was extremely courteous and quick.
There is so far one thing I have to say - do NOT believe the hours of operation that are posted to public - I came from across the city to get a quote half an hour before the doors were supposed to close and there were no people in the office because boss says close up as I was informed by two workers standing at the gate. Hopefully their operation is better when theyre open, but Ill update my review once Im able to actually interact with someone on the inside...
I cant say enough about this company! The technicians were professional, careful and respectful of my ongoing construction. They handled this Nervous Nelly with kind and gentle care, committed to making *me* happy. Mission accomplished! The office staff was always communicative and available. I just wish I could think of another project for them, right now. :) They were great!
I try and refrain from writing reviews about businesses when they let me down. Occasionally I feel it needs to be done.If you can actually get the company to do the work, the work is good. But as the other reviewers state, the place is totally disorganized. Communication is impossible. Have to hound them for everything and rarely, if ever, get calls back.Sadly, there are only so many glass companies in the area, so I will probably need to go back to them in the future. If I do, and their patterns appear to have changed, I will gladly delete this review.
It is nice to know that craftsmanship and attention to detail are still hallmarks of small businesses such as the Baltimore Glass Company. I had occasion to remodel my master bathroom in early November 2018. I had a small wall with a medicine cabinet and wanted a “wall to wall mirror” to encompass the cabinet and the entire wall. I called several area businesses including Caplan Bros. and found that Baltimore Glass Company provided the better deal. I also discovered that Maggie who dispatches the crews and provided the final bid offer was a consummate professional.Anytime I dealt with Maggie she was attentive and if she needed to call me back she always did so at the time promised. When it came time to measure and later install the mirror, Tommy and Peanut came out to do the job. Both were extremely professional and discovered on their own a minor defect in one of the mirror glasses that we would have found days if not weeks after they left. They quickly removed the mirror, ran back to the shop, cut and polished a new mirror and installed the new mirror completing the job in a timely manner. My wife and I are both extremely happy with the result and highly recommend Baltimore Glass Company.
The woman who answered the phone was rude and basically told me my job was too small for them to even care about. Terrible customer service. We have over 30 rental properties in Baltimore City and could have been repeat customers but I will never call this place again. Nasty person who should not have this job.

Ive had glass and mirrors cut here since 2010 and found them to do a great job. Im surprised by the negative reviews. I also have blue mirrors made in 1930s cut and theyve done a great job on these valuable vintage mirrors.
I called in advance to get a price quote for a small project and a time frame. When I arrived at the store, both of the receptionist looked at me without acknowledging my presence. Once I explained who I was and that I called in advance, she called one of the workers to the front to see if he could do the project. After agreeing the project, the man returned back to his work. I then asked the receptionist to verify the time frame and she stated the more questions I ask him, the angrier he gets. I was so shocked at the statement that was made to me, a potential customer, that I just walked out. This place has no idea of what true customer service is. I am not concerned that a worker gets angry because someone asks him questions about his job. I am more concerned about how customers are treated in this establishment, and I must say, it is not with RESPECT. The only reason this company received 1 star from me is because it was needed to post the review. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
They obviously do not want to do business with a fortune 500 company. I have reached out to them multiple times for a commercial job and if I get any response at all (after i send multiple follow up emails), its extremely unhelpful without an ounce of customer service. I wanted to use a locally own company for all my companies projects moving forward but they clearly arent the company to do so. I would take your money elsewhere.
I used this Co. Last year when we were selling a house in Hampden . I dont understand these bad reviews because my experience with them was great ! I had some glass shelves made which were perfect and found I needed more went back had more made no problem. The receptionist was very cordial and helpful. I experienced no problems with this co. I will use them in the future .
I am Actually a Glass Guy I have a small company called rush glass & mirror. I stoped one day about a year ago to give them a card to send me business they cant handle or out of the service area and they have been sending customer almost weekly. they were extremely nice to me and more then once felt like I owe them for their kindness but they refused to take any kind of finders fee and explained that they are extremely busy and cant handle all the business they get and hate turning customers down. If they treat me like this as a competitor I could only imagine how they treat their customers. I know this sounds too good to be true because you dont see people this nice anymore. thank you to everyone at Baltimore glass!
Im 30 years of age and this is my first review ever! The company should fire the female receptionist immediately, as far as work and quality I have no idea; service never got that far.
Rented a forklift for $1800 a week and broke the rear glass out days before needing to return it. Called around local Baltimore glass companies explaining my dilemma and the crucial time frame I needed it done in and Baltimore glass company I nc was one of the few that was sympathetic to my situation. I struggled through making a template and with the pretty primitive template I made they made my glass to perfection a day sooner than promised. The receptionist was also very knowledgeable to guide me through the glass selections. Will continue to use them for future glass needs! Highly recommend them!!!! Thanks for all the help Maggie

I called for a quote on a basic service and was informed that they would not be able to come out for about a month. The receptionist was polite, but curt. On the next company.
A tenant moved out and left my home in total disarray,including a broken window. The handyman suggested Baltimore Glass Company. They told me that my window would be fixed in 3-5 days. I explained that I was from out of town and asked if the replacement could be expedited. Amazingly it was replaced and ready the nexts day. Great service!

TLDR: Customer Service SUCKS. They fixed my back window but my lift-gate wouldnt close after they worked on it. Called back the next day, they said they would come out and didnt show up. SUCH a waste. I wish I went somewhere else. STILL dealing with this problem.They fixed my back window after it was completely smashed when my car was broken into. They were cheaper than Safelite. But I wouldve paid more for a job done right the first time. They didnt do the wiring right and my lift-gate didnt close. Then when I called to let them know I was still having issues they told me theyd come to fix it mid day the next day. I waited until around 2 then called to check when they would arrive and the guy on the phone said Oh, its too cold I cant send anyone out there right now. Well send someone out tomorrow (mind you it was 40 degrees..... and i was leaving town the next day). I would never, ever use them again. Trust me, pay more for a job done right the first time.
Called store today, all I can say is WOW. If their receptionist represent them and their quality of service I say run.
I have been using this company for a good amount of time. I have run into some issues but nothing to serious. The one thing that bothers me is their receptionist. When I call she has no enthusiasm and seems to not care about what she is doing. I also feel that when either my work partner or I put in an order I never get a follow up or she says that they never got the order. Another issue that was kind of major to me was when I was working a house in Hampden and I need them to install my glass, they said they would come in and install all on Friday but they didnt have everything so I had to wait till Monday. When they came in Monday, there was only two guys installing this large piece of glass and they could do it so they asked my contractors to help them. That to me was wrong because my contractors had to stop what they were doing putting us behind.
OMG they need a new customer service representative or receptionist who ever answers the phone is just lifeless and very unhelpful. Sound like she does not want to work there so I will not be giving any services to this company.
It was the worst customer experience of my life. If you any other option please take it.
