I play music as a hobby, and wanted to pick up a keyboard to noodle around with at home. I was not looking to pay the price for a brand new one and didn’t want to go Craigslist route, so I searched for pawnshops. I came across Northwestern Loan -- Reasonable selection, fair prices, and the staff easy to deal with. Also had a nice guitar selection. I paid a fair price for a keyboard that plays well.

The owner, Rick, was wonderful to work with on a unique piece of vintage jewelry I found. He was pleasant, funny and patient. Great customer service, I highly recommend this shop for any of your pawn related needs!

We had the most pleasant experience for our first time in a Pawn Shop. Rick the owner was so patient with us as we were deciding on 2 items. He was honest and gave us a good few laughs while we were there. I would go back there in a heartbeat!

After a few phone calls discussing the price of a used saw, I drove for over an hour to pick it up. The item was not as described (it was described as in very good shape and much less used than appeared in the pictures). Worst of all, I had the intend to buy some more stuff, but the lack of interest by the guy behind the counter, the way he talked, engaged (lack thereof), his attitude and most of all: the complete dump this place is (literally, it looked like a garbage dump), made me decide to leave within minutes. My decision to leave quickly was helped by the fact that I didnt want to leave my car alone in this neighborhood for too long, afraid it would be broken in to or worse. Stay away from this place at all cost!

Only Pawn Shop to give 3 Months on a jewelry loan and their interest is less than other Pawn Shops. The Manager is Cool too.. You always get a fair shake at Northwestern.

It amazes me how poor the owner treats customers ready to spend a few hundred dollars. Smart ass snarky comments, got offended when I asked best price on something he had for 8 months. This was just making a simple purchase, I cant imagine what crap he pulls if you get a loan with him. No wonder why he needs a doorman.

I pawned my 60 smart tv he gave me 175. They told me the I have to pay 404 dollars to get my tv out. The owner Rick has the worst customer service skills ever. He does not respect in customers. They Are Rip offs. DO NOT USE THIS PAWN SHOP.

I went to the pawn shop with a XBOX ONE 2 controllers and HDMI CORD with 4 games on the system and he tried to give me 75 dollars but was selling one for 250 the nerve of people that try to get over DONT GO THERE ITS A RIP OFF

Every used firearm was extremely over priced...a used savage axis for $700.00, used single shot bolt 22’s for $500.00, no excuse me $599.00. Got to be kidding!

They are the worst . Ricks customer service sucks he is very disrespectful when you ask questions about late fees. On the paperwork you get it does not say that you pay 25 dollars a day if your late. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.........
