Yeah, its just a liquor store above a grocery store, right? Only its not. Its definitely our favorite place to go in SE Baltimore to buy wine or booze because of the great selection and the interesting finds. We just bought a $100 bottle of Russian vodka in a hand-painted bottle; the vodka is glorious. The other reason we go there is the staff. They are friendly and helpful, and youll almost definitely see one guy there stocking the shelves who knows everything about the product there (well, the liquor in my case) and wont steer you wrong. This is the place to be.

What snobby service from the blonde male cashier. He acted as if he is too good to greet, say bye or even the difficult act of saying “thank you”. So much for customer service. This place is also overpriced.

Itll get the job done, just not enough variety for me. The ppl were kind and knowledgeable enough. Hard to find though. Need an awning or large flag/sign. Its on the second level of Whole Foods.

One Saturday night, I arrived for an impromptu wine tasting. The wines were positively tasty. The guards were so educated about the styles of wines. I love their spacious, beautiful shop so much. They also have a large variety of wines. The creator, a really nice man, was also there.

I love how the wines in the wine rack are shown. It was elegant to see and fancy. Very good informative service and great choice of wine here. So, if you want to pick up some good old drinks, youve got to visit this wine store. Theyve got it. Not only wine, but other drinks as well. Im going to visit this wine shop again for sure.

I’ve known this wine shop long ago. This shop was really amazing. The wines that they had was so delicious and beers as well. They had a huge range of wines that you could choose from. The staff will surely help you out in choosing wines. The place has a great atmosphere. Such a lovely wine shop to visit.

This is my regular after work spot. I get my liquor here every other day. They have good people here. Always ready to guide you in making the right selection through their variety of drinks.

Cashier was profiling us because we were young and had a black person in our party (kept asking if we needed help when she wasn’t asking any other shopper). Incredibly rude when a member of our party didnt have their ID and mocked their phrasing of the predicament. There’s a cheaper liquor store down the block, so don’t waste your money.

My wife and I bought tickets for a wine tasting class here. The instructor was from Georgia (Russia) but had very good english and literally no foreign accent. The class was 1.5 hours and we tasted 6 different wines. I like this place because wines are presented by type, instead of by vendor like most stores. Also, there is a parking garage directly across the street. The trick though, is you drive in across the street, but you enter and exit on the other side of the building (so, like a block away). However, this a very nice section of town with boutiques and such, so city walking isnt threatening.

I ordered a mixed case of wine the day before flying in last week and asked if one each of the bubbles and whites could be chilled for my pickup. They had all my bubbles and whites perfectly chilled!Exceptional service! Will be back this week for more.

The staff was helpful. Visiting from out of state; I didnt know the brands. Each night I went the staff helped to choose the perfect wine for the occasion. Extremely knowledgeable about their selections and flavour notes of each. Would definitely visit again if I ever return to town.

This store is the closest place to get some alcohol so you dont get gouged at the hotel bar. They also had Bells Oberon....which is just awesome.

Excellent revolving selection of wines. They special order anything you want. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They do a great job making the shopping and buying experience comfortable and approachable. You dont have to be a sommelier to shop here.I also participated in their Wine 101 class. Sam was a great instructor and the class was very enjoyable. Will be back for 102.

I really love this wine store. The staff are knowledgeable and it is well positioned right next to WholeFoods so that you can have that perfect bottle of wine to pair with cheese or your perfect meal.

Went to the Wine & Choc Pairing event last night (Sunday Feb. 11th 2018) and must say that there was zero guidance, there was no walk through of the wine and chocolate pairing from the host, just a piece of paper. Further, there was no order to the event, and it was over sold as there were too many people. Someone stated that the event was supposed to be open for 2 hours as in people could show up anywhere in those 2 hours, but there is nothing that states that, it just states that the event starts at 5 and ends at 7. Ive been to pairing events before at other locations and they walk the entire group through the wines, describing them and the food that they are paired with telling you what you the notes are and how they compliment one another...not here, you have to ask when being poured, if you can even hear the person talking to you over the large crowd...I can go on, but you get the point, it was just a very bad experience, not fun, not enjoyable, half the wines were bad...

This is not a budget-oriented shop per se, but there is at least one wine in each category that is $10 or less. I like that I can pick one of these less expensive wines without worrying whether I will like it because I trust the staff not to stock bad choices.
