The guys who work here are super nice and the prices are great!
Ive been going hear for years and will continue to do so. The people here are like family.
Great and curtious
At times their stock has shortages of some items.
Good price and Mr Chris the best thanks
The best bar I like too go too got what I need!!👌😁😁🙏🙏
Super solid selection. Fair prices. Great staff. The only problem is that the beer coolers are always too warm. Its totally unsatisfying to buy a six pack, get home, and have a barely cool beer.
Nice, friendly service. All the staples priced right. Convienant parking at Safeway.
They have a bit of everything for everyone. Want a good craft beer? A fine selection. Wine? Check. Feeling like getting a big jug of cheap vodka, oh but at last minute you went for the good stuff? best prices in town either way. A perfect mix of excellent choices and good prices, and lets not forget, the staff. A great staff that will leave feeling welcomed when you come back.
No problems
Solid craft beer selection and reasonable prices. Pro tip: If you need to park, make a right at the alley right after the store on St Paul, youll end up in the parking lot of Giant supermarket. Easier than parallel parking on St Paul itself.
Wonderful place to buy mostly any kind of wine and spirits you can ask for. The owners are some of the best in the business.
Best liquor, beer, and wine store in the area. Good prices and friendly clerks. Superb spot to shop!
Good prices. They always have what I need. Good selection. Street parking.
Disappointing experience. My friend went to this liquor store and was the only person carded despite over a dozen people in the store. She asked why she was the only one carded and said it felt discrimatory. Chris, the cashier, laughed in her face rather than answer her question.I called to speak to a manager, Frank, who stated the ID policy was, “anyone who looks under 45”, though signs say 35. I said, “If a customer asked why were they carded, what would your response be?” He repeated his first answer. I asked, “Why, then, when my friend visited earlier today did your employee not answer with that response and instead laughed in her face when she asked?” Frank said, “She didn’t ask the policy. She just said discrimination.”I said, “As a manager, I want to know why your employee laughed when my friend said she felt discriminated against. What’s funny about discrimination or feeling discriminated against?” Frank interrupted me, saying, “I don’t think he was laughing.” I clarified, “I saw it, and she was on the receiving end, so I KNOW he was laughing. As a supervisor, I want to know what you’ll do to make this better because it’s absolutely unacceptable and so is your response because discrimination is not funny.” Frank insisted it wasn’t an issue of discrimination. I continued, “If someone feels discriminated against, they explicitly address it, and you dismiss it with laughter, it is—” Frank raised his voice to interrupt, “Now listen. Calm down.”I don’t understand how any business thinks it’s appropriate to laugh at a customer, especially when they say they’ve been mistreated. And shame on Frank and his poor management for thinking it’s appropriate to yell at someone for addressing a disappointing experience. There’s nothing funny about discrimination but Chris and Frank seem to think so. I expect better. Discrimination is intersectional. Just because it’s a liquor store doesn’t mean you can excuse yourself from treating customers with common decency. Chris owes my friend an apology, and so does Frank.
Love this place. Chris is always a great help
Prices are very reasonable..fairly good selection and staff extremely friendly and professional
Ive known these guys for a while now. Excellent customer service. I would recommend it to anyone. Chris knows his stuff.
My go place for Wine Chris the owner is a very good friend of mine
Good prices. The hours are a bit limited and can be a bit inconvenient. The employees will work with you on providing an equivalent for the same price if something is out of stock.
Their service is always 100% spot on I absolutely love Charles Village Discount Liquors favorite place to go to I would go out of my way to go to them before anyone else
Chris and the guys are great, really well stocked for such a small store. Great service as well.
They close early but if you make it before they close the prices are good and they friendly, too.. 😁
