The staff at this Home Depot were extremely helpful. Theyre quick to offer assistance and they were able to help us find what we were looking for. Prices are competitive and the self-checkout lanes are straight-forward and easy to use. Theres ample parking and a good selection of products.

Always a great experience. The aisles are marked so that you can find what you need easily. There is always some one around to see if I need help finding something. Plus, this time I showed up with a basic idea and left with a great plan and all the parts!

Waited for sometime before any one assisted me. While I waited I watched 2 employees share life stories and pictures on the phones. Stock in store compared to online availability IS way off.

Did an Online order. Didnt realize I had to wait up to 2 hrs to get email to say when I could pick it up. Sent husband in and with 6 employees for shopping, none would pick my order. It is normal for a customer to expect an item to be on the shelf, if the website has claimed 35 in stock for over a week. Im annoyed that I was treated like an annoyance and an inconvenience. Well, we have to close off the whole aisle, and get a licensed driver in here to get that down, its a whole process that can take a while, well need to find the driver and all.Less than ten minutes. Which just tells me they didnt want to do it. Or didnt have the time to. The pandemic didnt make people worse employees. It just exposed the worst employers, as they couldnt keep the good workers anymore.Shame on you, Home Depot. Treat your employees better so they treat your customers better.

Always love home Depot spend too much money

We went in for a sets of doorknobs tonight. There was a very helpful employee that was able to guide us to exactly what we needed as well as inform us how to match sets to use the same key if needed. We were also able to cash out as soon as we were ready. I would recommend it highly.

Things were easy to find and clearly marked. Not very crowded

I love the store but even though many employees walked past me none of them asked if I needed any help (which I did). I finally waved a young lady down, waited for her to finish her phone call with another customer and asked for help. She could not find what I was looking for but after scanning the product stated that there were some in house and that she would send some one to help me. No one ever came. Lost sale HOME DEPOT!

Amazing location! Chris, at the back of the store, he helped me load a door, and he told us about a bunch of fun activities going on in the Bangor area! Nick and Jessica at the customer service desk, they gave us THE BEST customer service experience we could EVER ask for. Home Depot uses TRE on returns and many glitches can occur. TRE is a third party so Home Depot employees can simply pass the issue on to them and tell the customer to call. Nick and Jessica did not do this. They made the effort to find the glitch and assist us directly! This made our day. This has proven to be a family friendly store. We will continue to do business here!

Better variety than lowes for wood, tools, and gear. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The tools rental is also very helpful. Ive rented tools on múltiple occasions but ladies if you need tools to be fixed send the hubbies in. I took a chainsaw that sat in their office for over a month. My hubby called in for an update after I got a run around for that month and they fixed the chainsaw the same day he called in. The store 5 star but tool rental 1 star. Avg 3

Iij could spend hours upon hours in the islesIf the store(and the wife) would let me Id move in, well until i gathered everything to build a man cave out back with a beautiful garden and landscape! All with materials bought at one store! Safe to say that home depot is my happy place 😉

Orices lower than lowes same stuff

My boyfriend and I were there on October 2nd to pick up a galvanized trash can. The Home Depot website said the store had some. We traveled an hour to get one, and the store had NONE. Thinking its time SOMEONE updates the website when it comes to their products. Not impressed.

I like Home Depot. 2x4 selection wasnt very good today.

Went there to buy a new stove when ours died. Was told they dont carry appliances anymore and we have to order it and it will come in in 3 weeks or so. How in the heck are you going to pay for an appliance and wait to get it. Asked if I could buy the floor model and was told rudely they dont do that. I said they did and he was like no they didnt. So I went to Lowes.

We went to go pick out carpet and received way better service than I did over the phone. Person that helped us was helpful and knowledgeable.

Ordered ahead and picked up curbside made the experience quick and simple.

Had to rent their box truck to move some furniture, and it was quick and painless. Truck was clean, ran well and no problems at all! Friendly people at the rental counter.

This Home Depot is fairly a new one located on Stillwater ave in Bangor Maine. The store was fairly clean, but there were areas of concern, block aisles, trash on floors and I notice only one safety concern of a exterior door leaning in aisle. I guess old habits or new employees didnt notice this safety issue, which in another Home Depot had a door fall onto a child which resulted in injuries to his face. They did improve the lighting so you dont need flash lights anymore, lol. The ventilation still sucks cause they turn the ventilation system off at closing then back on around 12 or 1 PM. I did walk by 6 employees who fail to ask me if I needed help. Other then that not bad store, but there prices seem to be going up.

Most always have what I’m looking for at an expected price while I find comparable stores have noticeably higher prices and less options or availability for in stock.Associates are always helpful and kind, with only a few exceptions that come to mind. Home Depot certainly lives by the customer which seems increasingly rare these days.

I found the most beautiful hummingbird feeder but unfortunately I think its leaking 😫

I like home dept better than lowes. It seems to generally carry better quality products.

Its a standard large HD. Had to go here instead of Ellsworth which is a smaller HD and carries limited stock.

Extremely disappointed. I wanted a 72 inch long bi-fold door track. And they dont have any. I looked around the store a little and discovered that there are a lot of things that they dont have. For those of you that are still working, thank you. For those of you that are sitting at home, GO BACK TO WORK. The rest of us are getting tired of carrying your dead weight.

This is probably the worst Home Depot store I’ve had the misfortune of being limited to.Not one employee asked if I needed help, the one person I had to flag down for assistance told me (without asking what I was looking for) “if you didn’t find it on the shelf, we don’t have it”After another 1/2 hour of looking I found the product in a different location. This store sucks.

I absolutely love this store. I find myself going here almost every time I start a home improvement project. The quality of their items and prices seem to be much more consistent then Lowes and their consistent customer service is another plus. Will continue to shop here for years to come.

Home Depot Bangor, Maine - Signs around toilet display says ask about installation. Went to customer service desk and was told they dont have anyone in the area to do that (then why do they put up the signs). Found a local professional plumbing business in my area on my own. The tank of the toilet I purchased ended up being a factory defect and had a crack in the tank. Called Home Depot customer service and they said I could exchange the tank for one in the store. I needed manager approval to make the exchange. I waited for 45 minutes to meet with manager, Mandy. Eventually another manager came out and helped me and was great. However, Im very disappointed in Mandy. Its poor customer service to make a customer wait that long because of your defective product and then never show up to apologize for the delay. The poor guy ahead of me also waiting for Mandy waited at least an hour and also never met with her.

I only come here to admire the surrealist light installation, ponder the meaning of life, and buy 2 stroke oil for my chainsaw.

They have many items but unfortunately due to the covid they didnt have my washer and the only ones they could get takes three weeks or more the washers they have at the store are just the ones that are what they might carry at this time

People at Home Depot were very friendly today. I went outside to get a cart which was wet as it was raining and an associate actually called to me to tell me that he was going to get me a dry one from inside. I feel he went out of his way and didnt need to which I appreciated. He also discussed easy to care for plants with me and helped me pick one out. I didnt happen to get its name.

Buying a grill. Check out was quick but took 20+ minutes for someone to get it off a shelf. Definitely have enough employees walking around 😒

I come & get plants here constantly. There’s a certain plant I’ve wanted and I saw it on a cart with lots of plants wrapped in plastic like the shipment had just come in today. I asked 3 different workers if they wouldn’t help me get it then to at least tell me when they’re gonna be putting these out so I could come back and get one. (Half expecting them to be like “oh it’s right here you don’t have to come back I’ll just grab it for you) and literally every employee i asked told me they had no idea and kept walking.The items here are great, majority of the plants are great but the customer service is awful. This isn’t the first time I’ve tried asking people in the gardening questions about different things and I’m always completely blown off and never actually helped out.

I love the smell of wood here. All the unique wood smells from the pine to oak. All the employees here were super helpful with the projects I had. I also love walking around the kitchen section and looking at all the wonderful and amazing setups I will never be able to afford. Looking at the new appliances is also super fun.The smell reminds me of my long lost love Groot. I hope wherever he is he is safe.

Home Depots stock is a mile wide and an inch deep. I needed small items including cutting oil for cutting threads. The young staff dont know what taps and dies are, and neither young or experienced staff know where they might be. Its frustrating, they put local hardware stores out of business and then fail to replace them in a customer friendly way.

Had to buy plastic and some lathes to plastic my home. And it was decent priced and staff was very helpful
