Very cool shop in general. Lots to look at. A bit tight in spots, but the aisles are easy to browse and organized well. Owners were very nice and down to earth. Most of the vinyl is picked over, meaning that if you are looking for any bigger names you likely wont find much, at least when I visited. But they say they are always getting in more stuff. Their vinyl pricing seemed fairly close to market value, maybe a tad high on some titles. The thing that really bugged me the most was that a lot of the used LPs had price stickers placed INSIDE the jacket. So to see a price you must pull the LP out of the bin and pop open the jacket. Not sure why they did that, but it was obnoxious enough for me to not want to browse the vinyl for very long. Theres a large CD section as well, but the prices were WAY too high for me. Average price for a USED CD was $10! That is crazy for many CDs that average around $2-4 each anywhere else. The DVD/Bluray section is great, with a good selection of movies at reasonable prices.

Great selection of $2 vinyl. The rest typically run from $8 and up with some $5 records here and there. Very friendly owner.

I hadn’t been to Exile On Main Street in some time and I am very glad I stopped by today! There are hidden gems aplenty, good prices, and a great selection of vinyl, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, and more. Customer service is always excellent as well. I will definitely be shopping here again as soon as I’m in the area!

Ive been here 5 times or so and every time I find a gem or 2. Nothing outrageously expensive, but some cool vinyl I didnt know I wanted until I saw it. There is a bunch of vinyl that should be in a thrift store, but not a lot. There is a nice selection of vinyl, 45 singles, CDs and even cassettes. Most everything is reasonably priced in my opinion. The store isnt huge, but they fit quite a bit of stuff in the area. Definitely worth stopping in.

Not a great place to sell vinyls. Took in over 100. Got back about 25. Only gave me $40.00.

Sandy is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The prices at exile have always been fair. If you want albums, 45s cassette tapes, CDs and accessories ( and plenty of them) head there now. Even if you are not in the barre area its worth the trip!!

This store is the best! Ive been hitting it up since my dad bought me my first album, Beastie Boys, License to Ill, at their old, old, store. Back then they shared the space with the dude from the Comic Outpost and it was located where the art gallery is today. I travel around the country for work and hit up every record store known to man. Im telling you it will be hard to find a more knowledgeable, nicer, and f n chill as the great peeps at Exile!
