Bill has made recommendations for design and fabrics that are perfect for our home, whether it is drapes, valances, blinds or shades. I am not an easy customer as I only want off white or cream colors, yet Bill can easily see the difference in the various shades and suggest just the right one. He is extremely patient as I am often torn between two shades. Excellence resides in him-he could never do less! Outstanding experience from the first visit to the store and meeting with Bill to the final window treatment installation with Andy. Bill is very knowledgeable and patient explaining the many options of window treatments. Bill came out to our new home that was still under construction to measure the many windows and provide advice on some challenging window locations. Just received installation of my new custom shades. I am thrilled at how they provide privacy and also sun protection! The installer arrived on time and was knowledgeable and quick to show us how easily they function. Bill, was very helpful and accurate with product and lead time. Attention to detail and good customer service are top priorities for this company. The only thing is they are a bit pricey ~ but like they say you get what you pay for! I have two family treasures that were in dire need of being brought back to life. One was a small rocking chair that I used to sit in at my dear grandmas house in the early 1960s and the other was a small footstool my precious father made in the early 1930s. The fabric on each was literally falling apart. The care, beauty, and artistry of the finished reupholstering was simply AMAZING! The quality of the work truly exceeded by hopes and expectations! Just received installation of my new custom sihlouette living room shade. I am thrilled at how it freshend up my entire space and yet provided me the sun protection I so desired!The installer arrived on time and was knowledgeable and quick to show me how it functions. My salesman Bill, encouraged this particular product because of my needs and I am so glad I listened! Fair pricing, attention to detail and good customer service are something we don`t see very often anymore. But with Barrington Draperies Shutters its just the way they do business! Bill was very helpful and knowledgeable with tons of experience! He helped us pick out new blinds and shutters for our entire house. He has a great showroom in Barrington with so many different options to fit various budgets. He also allowed us to take a couple samples home of different colors so we could make sure we liked the color in our home. Bill even quoted us everything with power/motors and wasnt upset that we chose no power/motors to lower the price. He was perfectly happy to send us an additional quote for significantly less than the original.For installation, Andy was fantastic and extremely professional! I have never seen a better worker take his time to make sure everything was done perfectly.We cant recommend Barrington draperies and shutters enough!

Love my new shades. Bill was very helpful providing options to meet my taste and budget. He brought samples to my house and had working examples in their showroom. Ordering was less than 2 weeks for custom Hunter Douglas shades with wireless up/down functionality. Andy installations was professional and fast. Angela was an absolute joy to work with. After a little chat and a tour of my home she intuited and confirmed my desire to add just some soft finishing touches to my windows that already had existing blinds. There was no pressure of over-selling me to replace window treatments that were already existing and functioning. 19 years ago I got Hunter Douglas wood blinds from Barrington Draperies for my living & dining rooms; I just replaced them with the new hybrid shutters---LOVE them! Andy, shutter measurer/installer extraordinaire, is a perfectionist who cares about making a house look fabulous.I have Hunter Douglas window treatments in 5 of the 7 rooms of my house, all from Barrington Draperies. I have enjoyed working with Bill and his design staff for a long time and HIGHLY recommend them. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and professional.I am also very pleased with the reupholstering of an ottoman that had already been reupholstered 3 times. Love this place! Moving into a new house can be overwhelming and making design decisions can be difficult, but Barrington Draperies made it so easy. Angela, the designer, came to my home with great options and truly guided me through picking the best window treatments for my home. We are designing one to two rooms at a time and will most definitely be using them for the rest of our home.

I needed to replace my 13 year old Hunter Douglas power shades because the motors were finally wearing out. Bill came out to measure and make recommendations. Today Andy installed my new blinds and they are great. Andy took the time to answer all my questions and adjust the blinds to perfection. Hunter Douglas has made a lot of improvements over these past years. Cant thank Barrington Draperies and Shutters enough. Fast friendly service.

Bill provides excellent customer service - we replaced several large drapes in our family room and kitchen including sliders...so all different measurements etc. They were installed yesterday and were perfectly measured, look beautiful and installer was amazing (prompt, efficient and neat) All of our window treatments are BD&S and I would recommend them with 5 stars
