I love the one who helped me several times.Ty Priscilla😎🤓
Although they do not have a doctor the staff’s customer service is great. The workers were really helpful in repairing my moms glasses and I didnt know that they accept outside prescriptions.
I hate coming here for my glasses. The past two times the same lady was super rude. She had the worst attitude and didn’t know what she was doing. The most recent time that I went to get glasses for my sister and I, she breaks my sister’s glasses and refuses to provide us with a new pair (we still had warranty on the glasses). Her Manager then came and went on to tell us that it is not a big deal to get new glasses since her pair was only a 17$ pair. Very unprofessional considering that they have no idea about our financial situation.
I scheduled an appointment, was given a call the day before to confirm, showed up, and was told the doctor had to leave and Id have to reschedule. I asked why I didnt receive a call that it was cancelled and she said she called and left a voicemail. I opened my voicemail and there was none.I asked her to confirm my phone number and she read the wrong number back to me, and then claimed another lady must have wrote it down wrong. I asked how it could be that they called me the day before to confirm my appointment, but had the wrong number the next day?? She even showed me it was written down wrong in her schedule. How is this even possible?I think the doctor took off on her last minute, she was left with a bunch of angry patients, and changed the numbers she had in her book to make it look like the other lady wrote them all down wrong.I begrudgingly rescheduled, wondering about the quality of this place, asked her to correct my phone number, watched her write it down correctly, and never received a confirmation of appointment the day before my next reschedule.I decided I wont even take the chance with this place. Then after reading the other gentlemans review, it only confirms my suspicions.Poor customer service, poor quality, poor accountability. Not letting them handle anything to do with my healthcare.
My friend and I had our eye exams at Walmart Supercenter in Victorville a couple days ago (Dr. Boyd and Staff were awesome). We decided to order our glasses from the Barstow Walmart (BIG MISTAKE)!!! We went today with our WALMART prescriptions, and the two females working there offered us no assistance at all. We both agreed at the same time that we needed to make a better decision and go elsewhere!! They acted like we were bothering them!!
Dr Lim is awesome! Have been going to her for years, and followed her to Barstow from Hesperia. She is gentle and caring and takes her time to make sure you get the proper prescription. She diagnosed a serious problem with my husbands eyes and due to her awesome catch, he is seeing a specialist that will hopefully be able to save his sight.
POOR Quality Control for Rx GlassesI took my daughter to the NEW Wal-Mart to get her first pair of Rx glasses, shes 7 yrs old. We find a nice pair of Hello Kitty glasses she liked. It took a week to get the glasses.3 months later, we took our daughter back to the LLUMC Pediatric Optical doctor for follow up. After a couple of minutes (even without the Dr saying anything) I knew something was wrong because my daughter was having problems WITH the glasses on doing the eye tests. So, the Dr had her take the glasses off and retook the base test. Then, the Dr took her glasses and left the room. When the Dr returned she told us the glasses had been made incorrectly. The Rx for the right eye was the lens for the left eye. And, the Rx for the left eye was the lens for the right eye.The Dr printed out the same (previous) Rx, and added notes to fill as written. In other words, the Rx is correct... but the Quality Control in the making of the glasses is BAD!The Dr was clear, our daughters vision is WORSE that it was BEFORE WE BOUGHT THE GLASSES from WALMART.By their actions, NOBODY at the Glass shop thinks this is serious.I requested they expedite the replacement of new glasses. Its been a week and I was told, its been shipped but wasnt given anything specific (tracking number, delivery date, etc). In the mean time, my daughter has no glasses. We received her report card... worse one she has EVER had.Next time, Ill go someplace else... who cares if its less expensive if its not made to the Drs Rx. These glasses didnt break, THEY WERE MADE WRONG!If the glasses had been broken or scratched, warranty would have covered it and Id be patient - wed wait. But, when its WALMARTs fault. It should have been overnighted.MANY stores sell the products you need. Customer Service makes the difference. Barstow Wal-Mart Optical Dept SUX!
