I called and ordered 4 cubic yards of garden soil as I was making a 15x20 garden. While other products they may have is great, the soil, at least to me isnt. I basically spent over $200 to get rocks and some soil. While I understand these pebbles may be good for drainage, but this is excessive. I have ordered soil before in Indiana, and never had the issues of the soil being majority of rocks. This left a bad taste of the company, and more then likely wont be using them again when i continue to do more landscaping in my yard. Granted I am to be blamed a little bit for not going there in person and looking at the product before ordering. Wont make that mistake again. Just hoping my garden turns out ok, or I will have to dig it all back up, find a spot for it, and order from somewhere that runs their soil a screen. I added a photo, but it looks like its not showing

Be careful when buying anything here. I bought garden mix at this place many times, they charged $27/yard. Today 4/6/2020, they charge $37/yard because the guy said $27/yard for company price, $37/yard for home owner but they never said 2 different prices before. I never come back to this place anymore. Dishonest place. If you need anything in bulk, come to Natures Earth Products.

Tripp Smith and his team at The Yard never cease to exceed my expectations. They get me in and out quickly and I always leave with a smile on my face. I get mulch, gravel, stone here on a regular basis and I also dump my leaves and debris. Unlike their competitor, they are out to satisfy the customer. Thanks again !!

Truly the best mulch yard in Memphis hands down. If you need to dump tee debris come here. 25.00 and they help you unload it! Unlike their competitor who charges 45.00 and no help. Take the little extra drive you wont be disappointed.

The yard has a very large selection of landscaping products. I found they have many choices of Natural Stone and boulders. I love the fact that they have several different mulches to choose from some painted some natural. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Its the only place to go for your Landscaping needs.

They helped my determine how much mulch I would need and dropped it in a spot that best suited the demands of my project. I am a horticultural professional. My workplace (which I will not name, this review reflects only my own opinion and experience) has used material from The Yard for many years, and has a strong relationship with The Yard. Unfortunately, I have, in the past couple years, been disappointed by some of their materials. This year I installed a new garden, and used both a custom mix and leaf compost from The Yard. The leaf compost did not seem fully composted, and was maybe (my suspicion) even dyed to appear fully composted. The soil mix was full of nutsedge root fragments, which quickly sprouted (this has been a headache to manage in an organic vegetable garden, where chemical control is not an option). The mix is also very nutrient deficient, with clear evidence of nitrogen deficiency in all of the plants installed. I am very disappointed in these sloppy and unprofessional products, and hope that The Yard will do better in the future.

Been here once for a truck load of mulch. Place was neat, yard well laid out, prices are great, and the process was quick. You pull up go into the office and purchase exactly what you would like.There are sample in the office of a variety of dirts, rocks, and mulches. Once you pay they radio to the yard what was ordered, you drive out to your product, and they dump it into your pickup. There Theres nothing that I would suggest to improve on at this point. A truck load of black mulch was a much better value than buying the lower quality bags of mulch from lowes or home depot.
