ACE is the place with the helpful hardware man.True decades ago. True today.I didnt really need help, but they asked me and wanted to help. So they saved me the time looking for a product.I love the small time, personalized service. I hope the ACE always remains open, box store are ok. Sometimes great. But nothing beats the service at ACE

Worst customer service that I have experienced in a LONG time! I took in a screen in for repair and it took 2 months to complete. Then at the register I was charged over double what I was quoted at drop off. The cashier was nice enough to call Joel the manager and when I explained the situation, his response was well, Im not going to do anything about it, who told you that price. I told him that it was HIS employee that quoted the price to which he replied I dont know what to tell ya. Complete jerk (for lack of another word I would like to use). I will NEVER shop at the Batavia Ace Hardware again!!!

Love our Ace! The staff is so friendly and helpful they will go above and beyond to find solutions for what you need. It truly feels like a neighborhood hardware store.

Well stocked and very competitive pricing. A warm neighborhood style hardware store with a wonderful staff. I usually start here before the big box stores.

This location gives me a nostalgic feel everytime I stop by. ACE hardware seems to be one of the few family friendly places left around...They make you feel at home and the employees seem to be as a family and not just employees...Miss seeing that!!!

So easy to order online and get curbside pickup. They go above and beyond, its nice shopping at at locally owned store vs a big box . Bonus, they carry Benjamin Moore paint.

Called 45 minutes before they opened. Needed a sump pump float ace number 44999..man answered the phone said security but still looked to make sure it was in stock like ace hardware. Com said it was. They told me it was probably the manager chris. Said he would put it at the checkout. Got there when they opened and cashier named Lynn helped me and asked if I had any questions. I said no but thank you for asking. Went home and saved my basement.

Found what I needed for a plumbing job, replacing a water filter and drinking water faucet in the kitchen. I rather shop locally when possible.

Nothing is 100 percent perfect but this Ace usually gets pretty close . Store, staff are excellent.

Stop by here often on errands for my husband. The employees are always helpful and friendly. Cashiers are pleasant. Always a great experience

Was offered assistance right away. Only problem was the product the gentleman was thinking of, he could not locate. Friendly service and fair prices. Very important to be given help without walking all around looking for someone.👍

Im all about supporting local businesses over big box stores but Im also about holding every business accountable for staff. Young man at register had a snag tonight. He was visibly upset, and thats ok. But saying Godd&%n in front of customers (he was also reprimanded gently by a classy gentleman more experienced in years). Also, picking up your phone and texting while youre in the middle of a sale cant be good for your future career life. I wish this young man the best and I know he will learn from some good old-fashioned acountability. I would contact store instead of post this but I dont want him to miss out on an opportunity to learn and move forward. Its a tough time all around but remember, every action you make today affects the trajectory of your future career. I wish him well.

Great staff!

I like people working here at this particular store. They are always ready and willing to help. they walk all the way back with you and show you where stuff is instead of just directing you to the aisle like in some other stores. The cashiers are always welcoming and smiling at you. It s not the closest store to me but I am happy to drive there just to pick up whatever I need from there.

The guys at this store are awesome they definitely know things that the kids working at the big box stores dont. I always find what I need here and can recall leaving Menards many times frustrated not finding what I need.

The prices may be lower at Menards and Home Depot, but you cannot beat the service and the quickness of your shopping experience at Ace. With their coupons the prices are closer to the big box stores. But Ace of Batavia Illinois is a great store and they bend over backwards to make your experience a good one.

The manager at the Batavia Ace Harware was rude. I questioned if he would match their online price, a difference of $50. He was abrupt and said that he could not price adjust. I tried to ask him why and he continued to be rude. They lost a $500 sale. I will not go there again. I went to Menards and bought what I needed.

I almost always find what i am looking for here at this store and when i dont they help me by letting me know where I can find it
