Can not believe how accommodating they are. Purchased a pair of slippers in St. Catherines as a present and they were too small. Currently having the correct size sent to Hamilton for an exchange. Super impressed! Will shop here again. Great quality, lovely staff.

The quality, which equals comfort, is above all and the staff are knowledgeable and bright! I always come away feeling blessed with great footware that didnt break the budget and will last!

Good selection but quite high prices

Absolutely terrible customer service. The two staff members talking at the register couldnt even be bothered to say hi as we waited for them to stop their casual conversation to ask for some assistance with childrens shoes. The male employee seemed disinterested in helping us altogether, and told us well I dont know which shoes are offered in which sizes so youre going to have to look. We just left and took our business elsewhere.

Great staff very attentive but not overly pushy. Selection is very good but as with any shoe store it varies with the season. Have never had a bad experience here buying shoes or boots.

Horrible customer service. Went in with my 2 teens to buy 2 pairs of shoes. 1 other customer in store.. 3 employees. My son asked to use the washroom and was told they don’t have one.. then we circled the store for a good 25 mins until someone helped us. Very bad experience.

Friendly staff, but give yourself at least an hour as they seem to be understaffed all the time. Ive been here 3 times, as I get a certificate from my insurance company to purchase shoes here and every time I come, I always have to wait a while to be served. They also ways seem to be shortage in sizes.Other than that they do have good selections and friendly staff.

Possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I visited the store on Thursday November 23rd, was the only customer in the store, while 4 staff were working. I made a circuit through the store around 3 times looking for Blundstone boots, and not once did anyone greet me or ask me for assistance. I finally asked a woman who was at the cash stand where I might find them, she pointed vaguely to the back and said “they’re back there dear”. My name is not dear. I explained I had been there and couldn’t find them, she begrudgingly took me back to a small display tucked behind a corner. I thanked her and said I had a few questions to ask, one of which is if they would be included in a Black Friday promotion. I was told repeatedly, and rather rudely, that they weren’t going on sale, never go on sale, and she would be quite surprised if they ever went on sale. Dear. She then walked away.I found the pair I wanted, and followed her to the cash, asking if a) they accommodated orthotics and b) if I could try on a pair in 12. She patted the counter and said “just leave that there dear, and I will look as soon as I’m done this bill”. There was not a single other costumer in the store. Another associate came up, and I thought that she would logically pass me over to her, since she was so busy with this bill. She didn’t. But she certainly made time for some chit chat. I checked the time on my phone, and it was now 2:07. No one made any move to get me the $230 pair of boots I wants to buy. I told myself that if by 2:08 no one got me the boots to try on I was leaving. 2:08 came and I said “thank you for your time” and made my way to the door. No one attempted to stop me. No one apologized. No one offered additional help. It was like I had to pass some kind of test to be able to buy shoes, which I had somehow failed.Today I visited the Boot Shop’s direct competitor on Upper James, Miller Shoes, where I received incredible help, and left with not one, but two pairs of Blundstone boots. I have also told everyone I know about the terrible service I experienced, and the great service I got from Miller’s. I will never set foot in the Boot Shop again.

My first time in I was passed over for help twice, and when the employee did help me she gave me a blanket statement about not having the type of shoe I wanted and sent me away. I saw her on her smoke break about a minute after I left the store. I have never been treated so dismissively in a store and will not return.
