I dropped off a set of heads for a 4.8 I had pre cleaned myself. This was a Friday. I was told it would be 160 to clean the heads and let me know what was wrong with them. I was told the would probably be ready Tuesday. I waited until 3:00pm before I contacted them and was told they would have more information in the morning. I waited until 2:30pm the next day to be told they were cleaned and being pressure tested. Great! Only to receive a phone call the very next day being told my heads were ready. Seemed odd but I asked whats the damage to be told 576$. I was never called about any work being done. Never mind the fact that I can order new heads from Amazon for 500$ shipped to my front door. I am a young aspiring mechanic trying to build my own truck by myself and this has really impeded my progress. They have done the same thing to my father-in-law. I was disappointed that I was met by what seemed to be a humble very knowledgeable person only to be told if you bring you own valve seals thatll save you 30$
