Went to the store to get a battery for my car. Advance Auto parts claims that they install batteries for free at all locations. Employee walked out looked at my car and said he couldnt put the battery in, because they were just to busy. He then proceeded to walk about 20 ft away from my car to smoke and stare at his phone. Ill take my money elsewhere next time.

Staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Stopped in to have alternator checked said they couldn’t help me. Went next door and got it done right away.

I was in this store this morning and I bought windshield wipers from Mary. She went out of her way to help me pick out the best wipers for my car. She explained what the difference was between the wipers and she recommends the onxy wipers. So I bought the wipers and she put them in and she was just a great sales person and even put the new blades on for me and she is a Excellent sales person. I recommend if you go in there she is the one you want to deal with just a all around great person. Thanks Mary for all your help

I wanted to do a shout out for Steven at your store. I came in yesterday to buy a tail light bulb for my daughters car. He offered to help install it and when I came in this morning, he not only did that but also replaced the broken pins holding the light assembly in place. What a kind man with a desire to help!

Extremely disrespectful second shift, hung up on me twice walks away from the phone and I can hear him talking to other coworkers come back and hang up on me again told me both my parts would be in the following day after receiving defective parts call back up there the following morning just for them to tell me that the parts were separated on a 2-day shipping lack of training and no knowledge makes this store so disorganized I think my shopping days at Advance Auto Parts are coming to an end I would rather go next door then deal with disrespectful staffU need a zero star ratting

Staff is helpful, but dont order anything online for store pickup, if theres a slight chance you might want to return it, unless you live real close by the store. I thought I ordered winter windshield wipers and when I went to pick them up they were summer wipers. They were $50 for the pair, and I wanted to return and exchange them right then and there for winter wipers. I was told since I ordered online for in-store pickup, the computer wouldnt recognize that I had actually pick the item up for a few hours afterwards so I couldnt do an immediate return. That meant I had to spend another $50 on winter wipers that I get actually use at the moment, then I have to make a return trip to the store some other time to get a refund for the wrong item. Then I realized the guy didnt give me the box for the new wipers, so if theres a problem or something I wont be able to return them because I dont have the UPC or the Box. he gave me my old windshield wipers back, but he took the Box inside the store and I didnt realize it until I already driven 25 miles home. Not a good experience. After I get my return done for the wrong item, I will be sticking with AutoZone or Napa.

Usually my last resort to pick things up here if OReillys does not have them. And if I do, I know what parts I need because the employees here dont know as much about auto parts as I think they should.

I will never call for information or shop with Advance auto(s) in Battle Creek Michigan there over the phone service is very terrible every time I call I’m put on hold and they never come back to the phone I’ll hang up and call back and they answer the phone asking me to please hold after I was just on the phone on hold for ten mins ago. This is Discourteous

We stopped here for wiper blades that nobody knew how to change or put the new ones on. They told us that oriellys didnt carry them either. We stopped next door at oriellys as a last ditch effort on our way out for vacation the guy helped us select purchase and install new blades in less than 5 minutes.
