Best Mexican food in Contra Costa County

3 stars because I called ahead of time to make sure they had sharales. The cashier that answered confirmed it. When I arrived I when straight to the meat department and the butcher told me that they havent hadsharales for a while. I felt robbed of my time. I just walked out and drove to Cardenas in Pittsburgh I should of just gone here in the first place. 3thrd the charm!

Been going here for years but they no longer have fresh handmade tortillas and chicharonnes are not fresh on sundays

The bolillo is bomb af!

My first time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made our food fresh. It was very good, I will be back.

The workers speak English and Spanish. Parking is limited. They have a restaurant in the back. The prices are reasonable.

Its kind of small but they have almost everything in there, the tacos are so good.

Best Mexican food in baypoint

Mi Tierra is great. They have a tortilleria, bakery, butcher and always fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables. There is also a restaurant with special family deals.

A little over priced. But you can find pretty much avery Mexican product you want.This is what they have made daily twice a day. Fresh carnitas and grilled chicken.They have a restaurant inside. This one is ok. But I have gotten burnt meat in my burrito.Tortillas made daily and Mexican meat cuts.Parking lot is small but you always find a spot.

This store is fine if you are spanish, however Im not spanish and routine items such as lipton tea bags arent carried. Most of the employees DO NOT speak English but they do have a nice meat counter.

Friendly staff, fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. Their freshly seasoned and cooked meats are awesome for our home made street tacos and burritos. They also have a food counter where you can purchase a variety of prepared foods like tacos, tortas, burritos, and more. Their Super Burritos are excellent. Weve had their chicken, asada, and carnitas and they are all delicious.

My whole family shops here for fresh meats, fresh tortillas made on site. Hot food, cakes and produce.

Its great but the produce tends to be expensive.

My # one Mercado, if I need something I just come here only 1 block from my house very convenient. Everything they have in their DELI & Restaurant inside is all good and fresh. So come and visit MI Tierra you will love this as,much as I did.

Everything went up too expensive, plus the older lady at the register, charges extra sometimes. Becareful everyone, but its not fair that with people like this, business lose customers and if it happens to you. Report her

The store was clean and neat. Employees were very friendly and attentive. Meat was fresh. I was able to find what I needed. Signs were in Spanish and English.

Great place for Mexican/Hispanic centric groceries!

I love their carnitas and chicharrones, as well as their salsa, guacamole, carne asada... its all great! It can get very busy around dinner time, but the cashiers are usually very fast, and super friendly, too. My only complaint would be that theres usually someone outside their doors trying to sell you something or asking for money. Its not bothersome enough for me to stop going there altogether, but it is a nuisance enough that it makes you think twice when youre just not in the mood to deal. Great place once you get inside though.

My friend took me here and I really liked the food. I got a quesadilla de pollo :)

1st time here I had such a great time its super clean, the ilsa were spacious and they have such a variety so many different products new things to me. A nice food court in the back, roasted chicken, this place is a hidden gem I love that I will be Back

Its a great Mexican market good prices and their restaurant in the back of the store is great for lunch. The price isnt bad for the food that you get. The service is pretty good most of the time.

The taqueria food is Always delicious, BUT regardless if the place is packed or empty, their is quite a bit of a wait for the food. Other than that. Utensils, napkins and boxes are at reach for the customers

My family and I love the carnitas and chicharron from here, we live closer to two other markets that sell it but neither are better than Mi Tierra’s. Some of the prices for the produce are a bit excessive. The aisles and store in general are pretty small. I love the bollios and pan dulce from here as well. Overall a good store with decent customer service. Solid 4/5 stars.

Clean, friendly, and they can satisfy all your grocery needs. My Goto Mexican Market. Oh, and their restaurant is very good. They make awesome pastor. I should mention too, I am always reluctant to eat Menudo from anywhere else than Mi Tierra in Bay Point.

Go for the cafe in the rear of the store. Freshly made tortillas and the pastor is yummy. While sitting waiting for my order, I watched the tortillas being made and actually got to sample one still warm.

Your typical Mexican super market. They do have a small taqueria inside, offer other to go cooked food and have cold food to go as well. Customer service is alright but overall its satisfactory.
