Great place to buy all your roofing materials

Good place to get lumber at a great price. Friendly, local...better than buying at a big box store, and much better prices.

I was directed to the “Building Center” by the hardware store in order to purchase a small piece of lumber. When I arrived I was immediately treated disrespectfully, and when I asked for the small amount of material I was rudely informed I could only purchase a large quantity (4 times what I needed). As I described what I needed, the older gentleman behind the counter rudely informed me he could only sale me the larger quantity. When I said that it was too much he rudely said “yeah, we’ll good luck.”Sorry. I will not purchase anything from Grayco again.

Was looking for information/ prices on a DIY project of replacing decking lumber with 5/4 x 16 composite decking for porch, and 5/4 x 6 x 28 cedar decking for stairs. They happily printed out a quote. They do provide one cut per board (to help with transporting), but no custom cutting....I returned and purchased 30 5/4 x 6 cedar decking. Everyone was happy to answer my questions, in the front of the store. In the yard I found a 10 and a 20. David was happy to assist, cut the 20 in half for transporting and was very helpful....I highly recommend Grayco Building Center.

Yard workers are slow to get your materials down from top racks or are not sure where the material is.

The knew what the 70 year old siding was called that I showed them a sample. They even had it in stock.

Great place and friendly staff.

Customer service was good, but the quality of the product I received was pretty bad. I only bought two lengths of shoe molding and about 40% of it was unusable. So much was unusable I had to purchase more even though I had greatly over purchased. Its just sad that I had to go to Lowes to complete my project.
