Never shopping here again!! Im active duty military stationed here in SC and this is the only local gun store in town. I bought a rifle case under the impression I could return it if I didnt like it, because their website clearly states they accept refunds. I tried to return it two days later because my rifle didnt fit right but they told me they dont accept returns. If they sold good quality weapons and fair priced products they wouldnt be worried about refunds. Id recommend palmetto state armory instead!

Great store always good inventory of neat products. I’ve used them for several FFL transactions and never had a signal issue.

- Very knowledgeable staff and easy to talk to about questions you have. Good selection of firearms and willingness to help transfer firearms from other FFLs.- Love the fact that there is a Silencer Shop kiosk located in the store to ease the purchase process of buying a silencer/suppressor.

This place is amazing. Even when there busy someone is always available to help you. Even while on the phone the boss man helped us out. And when I had a question about our purchase and called, the boss man helped me and fixed the problem within an hour. I definitely recommend Shepherd Tactical and will most definitely be shopping there again.

I have used them as an FFL, bought a firearm, and have sought their knowledge and expertise on purchases. I recently made a purchase and ended up having some issues I needed help with. I was in banking for 30 years and I owned my own retail store for 18 years. During those 48 years I learned the true meaning of customer service. I can tell you there is no better customer service than you will find at this store. If you want something and they don’t have it they will go all out to find it for you. No need to go from store to store looking for what you want. These folks want your business.

Great bunch of guys and prices are spot on. You can go to other stores and get some things cheaper but you will not get the customer service that you get at Sheptac. Would recommend everyone to give them a look see.

Honestly surprised I havent written a review for them yet. By far the most knowledge and friendly gunsmiths I know. Always warm and welcoming, fair pricing and negotiating. Professionals that treat you like family. I dont trust anyone else for my firearms needs. Absolutely amazing. Pick up some ShepTac merch when you visit, very comfortable shirts and hats.

Nice little mom and pop place. They have a wide selection and somewhat small inventory. This small inventory allows them to have lower prices, compared to some larger stores. Also, they can custom order just about anything you want. Im glad to have a store like this so close in town! Definitely recommend you stop by to check them out

Highly recommended. I purchased a gun online and has it shipped to Shepherd Tactical. Picking it up, was the first time I had been in the store. The guy working gave me a nice education about the gun I purchased and I bought a few small things. When I arrived home and opened my bag, I found that they had included a free t-shirt. How awesome is that?? Other local gun stores charge upwards of $20 for their own store shirt, which is crazy. I will definitely be back here again!

When I went to Shepard Tactical, as a 13 year old, I was expecting to walk in, get to see a bunch of guns, and leave as a happy camper. Instead, I was extremely surprised by the friendliness of the staff, they were extremely informative, and some of the nicest people I have ever met. I met an extremely nice man, by the name of Derick Lewis. He was an ex-marine, combat veteran, and chief range safety officer of Maltese Arms Shooting Club. He not only answered every single one of my questions, but the next day gave me my very first basic handgun safety course, for over 2 hours and put over 200 rounds down range. I had an amazing time, and would highly recommend anyone to visit Shepard Tactical for any gun questions, purchases, (their quality in products is amazing) and gun classes. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had, and encourage anyone and everyone to have the same experience as me.

I dropped my rifle off to get sighted in after a close friend contacted the owner. The owner said bring it on in they had a few to sight in and they would get out there in a couple of days. I gave them almost 2 weeks and heard nothing. I finally call them and they haven’t even touched my rifle. I went up there to get my rifle and the employee said the owner didn’t know anything about it which I know is not true. Terrible customer service. Won’t ever be back.

Great people, very nice and helpful. Prices are abit high, I bought the CZ bren 805 and the same rifle was almost $250 cheaper at palmetto armory. But you cant beat good customer service, john carter was very helpful.

Friendly and to the point good buying experience

Horrible will never attempt to buy from again. Did a online order for a flash hider for a ar15 I received a email saying that they received the order an would email me when the order shipped. Well after a week of no response to emails, took about 4 days or so to talk to someone about the order. They claimed their computer crashed after they processed the card for my order but not the product. After finally talking with owner he said he would refund an still ship the part. Well here we are over a week after that an still no refund or part. Just called an talked with one person who said flash hider just showed up today at first but then said they showed up yesterday. Cant even keep their lies straight! Avoid at all cost!
