Staff members are very helpful and will help with whatever questions you may have. I would give 5 stars if they had a more clear pricing list. The list you see on their site is for older vehicles or vehicles that have been there a while and have been picked through pretty thoroughly and are inside the large fenced off area. The smaller area that is fenced off separate from the other is the higher priced parts or newer cars/newer arrivals. There is no price chart for the more expensive area online, and there is only one sign that i seen that indicates it is a more expensive section of car parts you are headed into. I, unknowingly, priced all I needed online, went to BYOT and entered that section. Found all I needed, spent a few hours in some Texas heat, lugged it all to the front to checkout, just to become aggravated that my total was about 40-50% more than I had calculated. Also some of the parts are priced at checkout and in their computer as $1. If they change some of this for the better, I would definitely change my rating to an 5. Nevertheless, I would absolutely recommend people to come here for parts.
Theyre getting way too expensive its a junkyard I really believe the parts could be a little cheaper and theyre not the friendliest people but theyre not too bad Im going to give them two stars. I would still recommend them so I hope you have a pleasant visit when you go
Always exciting to visit because I always leave with what I went for. Staff is kind and courteous. Call ahead of time or just stop in. You wont be disappointed.
Plenty of vehicles. Super helpful guys at the counter. Cant beat the prices either.
$2.00 entry fee. Then Be ready to do some walking, just guessing, around 20 acres of cars, trucks, vans, ect.. BUT, you cannot find a cheaper place to buy used parts. Friendly and helpful guys that work at the front desk. Will recommend to anybody that knows how to turn a wrench. I have bought a motor for a Jeep Renegade, and Many different types of parts for other vehicles and never had to return.
The staff is nice and they made it easy to locate the vehical
Great selection but they really need to organize it. Took my first hour realizing that what I needed was in the front lot not way to the back. Maybe a little referral would have helped as well but Im not there for customer service
Horrible. The car i needed parts off of hood wouldnt open. The manager has horrible customer service. I spent 2 bucks for nothing ended up buying the part out of the store. I was so mad. The other part of the team was excellent.
Do not work here you will not be paid as you should and your hours will not add up thr mo ey is not worth what your expexted to do take it from an operator the made a laborers pay
The guys are really helpful. And so far they have pretty much always had what I was looking for.
It was a lot of fun. I was surprised by the admission fee, but once inside it was definitely worth it.
Junkyard, junkyard they are all the same. This one is charging for thing they can
Good service and they have good parts.
The staff was knowledgeable and helpful with information. Prices were very fair. Good selection of inventory.
Decent prices. Lots of wasps.
Employees are very responsible an very help
This place has it together they charge you two dollars to go in and look once you find the part they give you a price and you can pull it yourself and take it home.
This place is a joke, a total waste of time. They say you will have to pull it off your self. The problem is they don’t allow you to bring any type of jack to the place. They have these cheap makeshift stands underneath almost all of the vehicles. They are halfway holding them up in the air. But depending upon the parts you need it’s not high enough in the air to get what you need. No matter how many times you ask them, they won’t send a forklift over to lift the vehicle. And they don’t even know if they have certain parts on the vehicle. You have to pay two dollars just to go in there to look and see if they have what you want. They say it’s a family business, a family that offers no customer service. They are out to take advantage of those looking to save some money. They’re too concerned with whether or not someone is getting something and not paying for it. They should be more concerned with making sure that the customers are getting what they need in a timely manner. U-Pull-It isn’t worth your time. It too easy to pay a little more and be on your way, rather than messing around on the mud for hours and coming up with nothing. 👎
It was hit as heck. But we found what we went for!!! So all good to me!!!
Good places to buy cheap parts for auto in truck
Everyone is helpful and all the vehicles are very organize and accessible.
I work here and it is the most neat and fairly priced automotive salvage yard I have seen and all of us staff will do are best to help customers and everything runs alot better under the new ownership !!!
Long time customer here. Not for long. .The reviews here are mostly from when this place was called BMT u pull it. it is under new management and i had a terrible experience. sales staff is rude with low product knowledge and prices are a lot higher. Went in to purchase a used grille for an early 90s model truck and they were charging more than the part would cost me brand new .
Really good staff. Helpful and patient. Had everything i needed. Very clean and organized. I think the best one ive been in and i frequently go to different salvage yards around the country. Very pleased with this business.
We had fun day at BYOT.THE Easter egg hunt fun and nice to friend .
My husband works there. All are friendly especially my husband
Great prices and great people! Cant recommend them enough ☺️
I called on Saturday for ignition coil the guy over the phone said 15 dollar . I went in there on Monday drove 1 hour to beaumont and at the counter they changed the price to 33 dollars . This is the last time i come in there . Please don’t ripp off people we all have hard time right now that’s why we are coming to junk yard to buy stuff. I hope management see this and take care of it.
Best place in town to get car parts. Thank you
Awesome customers service neat and clean area for a junk yard so love the coupon service i love what the new owners have done with the place keep up the work guys
No stars, pulled out a small piece of plastic off of a truck not even 10 inches long and they wanted to charge my friend full new price. Ridiculous, had to pit one star to post
I would never use them again for the fact that they have an entrance fee then if you take back a part that dont work you dont get all your money back because of a warranty fee
Decent prices.
Ive used this place multiple times and love everything about it
Went for cheap used parts had to pull part and still tried to charge new part prices used to be able to get a good deal dont know what changed. Can get cheaper on line or whole new parts for the same price.
I would not leave a star if I could. Called speak to a manager she hung up on me. Went in to get simple part and turned around because no mask and have a medical condition but by governor orders and hippa you can’t ask but not an employee one had one on and let another gentleman go in without one but turned 2 other customers away. It’s in open. Do better business practice. I will call back!!
Doesnt know there inventory. Walked the whole lot from roll 1 to roll 60 just to find out that they didnt have a 4 door Ford 150 on the lot. Cost me 2 bucks and 30 minutes of walking for nothing
There price is reasonable and they have more vehicle to get your use part . You can call them before you get there n they will let you know if they have a vehicle.
Great place to fine a part just alittle expensive for used parts.
Help service i got my engine it was reasonable and works like new will pick this place over any byot is the best
Good deals
You dont even want to know. Drive all the way to Bmt. for nothing
Have every part you need for very low prices!
They do have a large selection of cars and trucks
Don’t understand how y’all tell somebody one price over the phone but get their and tell a whole different price that’s more than the original price and you tell them and they said well they must have made a mistake
The employees are extremely rude. Rarely do they have the parts you need, and if they do have them they are extremely expensive. Just shop at Rock Auto and spend the extra money. It is worth it.
They will sale you broke parts and know they are thats not right.
Xavier took really good care of me there. Went out of his way to make sure the truck I bought was in good running order before I left with it. I will definitely go back for all of the issues I have in the future.
Is probably be a good place to eat if you like hearing your food have you like the service to be bad then thats the place you need to go I went today and order some biscuits and gravy and got a hair in my food which naturally made me sick to my stomach so every time I go to that one thats on Dowlen Avenue I get bad service and bad food and Im not going to go there anymore
A great place to pick up auto parts very reasonably priced, go in and find the one you want.
Im not much of a salvage yard customer but this last car I have has shown me the value of them. The reason for the 5 star rating is that this place is so organized compared to other areas. The reality put plenty of time into keeping the cars in great rows that makes finding what toy are looking for best. They also have a great selection of cars so the probability of finding your part is high.
They charge you to go take your part off yourself smdh
Found everything I needed at a good price
This place is awesome
I visited the website to get more info such as hours of operation, etc.
Fair price unless you try selling your car to them, they try to lowball you very bad
Good place for parts
One of the employs checked our tool box and he tried to say two items in it was from the vehicle we was getting a door off of. Thankfully we got our items back
Helpful staff and fairly organized yard. Could use more euro cars. Some hard to find ones meet their demise too soon so pull extras if you find it. To anyone making a salvage yard trip please be respectful to the next person who may need to pull a part on a car and not destroy the surrounding parts, body panels or interior. Its also helpful to put small parts inside the car and close the doors and hood so the pieces arent destroyed. Many euro parts are expensive or no longer made.I wouldnt mind putting down a deposit to borrow a cart. Always lacking on those. Front parking can be hectic. Not opposed to the idea of a loaner hoist or transmission jack with deposit. Would probably increase sales. Otherwise my favorite yard to sometimes just explore.
This place is huge with lots of inventory.
WoW !! The Guy who answered the phone literally told me there werent any parts left that I needed.??!! Then Another employee said the vehicle I called about wasnt there. I just laughed and went anyway, I looked at the first two trucks right outside the front door and found my parts. The company almost missed a 200$ sale. I am dumbfounded over who to Fire, the trainer or the two employees. 🤔
You need a part they have it!
They have the left side tailight of the vehicle i need at the front desk for $15 but i need the right hand side. So i go out and pick the correct one i need and he tells me its $35 for the one i need, i tell him that the one he had at the desk is $15 but he tells me the one i have in hand is $35. Point being that is that he wanted to charge me double the price just because he knew that is the one i needed. They will overcharge you for items that they will not tell you abou . They just add it into the price.
Great parts
Called and told them that I have an older model car. Timing chain broke and blew a hole in the oil fill pan. That the engine head and valves are likely gone. They told me $250 was the best they could offer. Said okay, when can you pick it up, it was Friday. They said Monday. I said okay for $250, I’ll see you Monday. Not once was it said this is only a quote and that the real offer won’t be made until the car is looked over. Monday comes and the tow truck driver tells me they can offer $175. I said, what are you talking about? We agreed on $250. Then it’s, I can give you $200. Really?? I said I’ll give it away before I let you have it for less than $250 because thats what we agreed on. As a result of this experience, my personal impression of U-Pull-It is that they are not an honest or reputable business.
Found exactly what i needed for $11
Great place to get a car, truck, or autoparts from a salvage yard they have in the back, I love the concept of the business.Fairly straightforward.Be careful with the cars though and make sure you pay attention to what you are buying, the salesman will try to do what he is supposed to do, which is to entice you, but for the price you are paying its really not that bad. They are fairly honest. This is why I give it 5 stars.
They wont help with anything.
Ser has slicked up some what.
Always have the parts I need at the best prices
You can find most any part that you need. But you have to take it off yourself. And there prices are very reasonable.
4 stars for they had 5 of my cars but not my part. Maybe next time
Good prices
Very clean and well organized....does charge an entrance fee, but its well worth it for the ease of locating what you need in a safe environment. They do have an option of purchasing an annual card for a low fee, that allows you to also bring a person with you for free. Pretty well stocked with many makes and models of cars.
They dont charge for nuts and bolts, at least not for peripheral items... ie: throttle body, intake manifold, water pump, wiring harness. Im feeling really blessed. It would have taken days for the right bolts to come in if Id ordered them.
Yo if you go to beautiful B town better grab some Beverages because Bits and pieces of metal are buried beneath the Beaumont/Baytown boardwalk before beaches and bodies are brought before bens butt best Before bella bets bond batter Bon bedrock bushes that blushed butter biscuits better build boy buildings before badass billy begs before bans bad building plans
I got the worst case scenario when buying a used cash car from these people. First a tire had a screw in it and two days later went flat. Replaced it, no big deal. Second it started to pull to both sides DANGEROUSLY. Replaced the idler and pitman arm. Another $200. Its cool, I just need it to run a little while longer. Then air conditioning stops working. Then the ball and socket joint dies out the road almost making me lose complete control of my vehicle causing a multiple car collision. I would not recommend buying a vehicle
Beaumont U-Pull-It is a great place for all your used automotive needs I needed headlights for my grandam and they had quite a few to choose from and they look good.
I drove 105 miles to visit these people their website says they close at 5:30 I got there at 5:00 they slam the door in my face I wanted to look at some parts want to come back down later if they were the right parts now I guess Ill never know
Love this place! Its like a car lovers candy store. If they kept older model cars itd be five stars.
Showed up at 4:50 and got turned around at the door saying they about close. Think its bs cause the time on sign at door and on there site both say 5:30. Drove a hour down here just not to be able to get my part I need that take less than 10 mins to remove.
Most of the time you find what you need. Every now and then you dont.
This place is fantastic. It’s clean and has an excellent staff that is knowledgeable and helpful. There inventory is up to date and easy to locate on property. This helps in minimizing the amount of time your on the lot.
Great auto salvage place. It is the best I have ever been to. Cars are very easy to access and they have a great selection of cars to rob parts from. Good prices too.
Its nice
They have a fast turn over rate so if you see it get it!
Great help and Deals
Best place to get parts in Golden Triangle. They carry parts you cant buy new anymore.
I saw an ad on Craigslist saying they had a Nissan versa manual car for sale, and when I get there they got it in the back but with no transmission. They say it needs a new cvt. Need to keep their online listings accurate before wasting peoples gas. I shouldve called. Call before you go.
2 $ entry fee or 20 yr membership.....good rotating selection of vehicles.... .good fair cheap prices.......good helpful staff that can cross reference parts and interchange ability.....
Enjoy your service
Love the prices and selection I could spend all day here if I could
Great place I found my part with no problem, employees were nice and friendly
Wonderful experience for a mechanic of 40 years walk around and see all the usable parts on practically any vehicle very polite and courteous staff
Easy friendly service. Can find what i want at a low price. Stop shopping intermet... The price here is cheaper then ebay plus not wait..
Great place! staff was very helpful and professional. They helped me find what I needed, and the yard is laid out so it is easy to find what you are looking for. Definitely my new yard!
This place is the perfect place for the do it yourself person. Very organized and the prices are great, if you dont mind putting in the work I would recommend U- Pull- It.
Great place. Good staff and very helpful
I went to bmt u-pull it on Thursday June 13 looking for a part for my van. Talking to the young lady working there an explaing what I was needing, she was very helpful to find my part an also helped me someone to assist me with retrieving it. The price was very reasonable an the man that did the work for me was very reasonable with his price as well. With her (Chelsea)help an the mechanic (Roy) I was back on the road to work in just a couple of hours. I as well as my boss was very pleased with there service. So thanks guys, we will be returning to your business again if needed. TMT TRANSPORTATION.
