Delivered us a lovely vehicle after a delay saying it needed an Injector. It needed a new engine. Asked us to pay towards it. Cheek. Rejected the vehicle after them having it for four weeks to finally say it needed a new engine. Exasperating,, frustrating, stressful throughout.they must have known prior to delivering it. I took it to a Jaguar dealer locally for a good look over. Their advisory said injector faults but the head needed to be removed to see the exact fault.i sent a copy to them and waited and waited. Only to be told by them that they were rejecting the deal and sending money back. Cant do that I said, only we can do that. We want it repairing please.after a further delay was given three options, recon engine, new engine with a request for us to contribute £2000. Or reject the deal. I had had enough of them to be honest so we rejected the deal. In fairness to them they did provide a loan car whilst they had ours. I know what Im talking about as before I retired I was a Business Tutor in Customer Service and Management. If you dont have a problem you will see what you think is good customer service. However, good customer service is how a business deals with complaints and problems. They fall down badly in that instance. I would never recommend this company.

A laid back but positive experience. I was in the market for a cheap but reliable run around and settled on a VW Up. I arranged to see and drive one particular car but found a second, almost identical example next to it on the forecourt. Sam (owner) sorted a test drive for both and left me to my own devices. Once Id settled the business of paperwork and Tax was taken care of quickly and efficiently. SR also offered a free MOT & Service on the car, which was a welcome surprise as the car was due for the latter. The service & MOT was arranged at my convenience and I was offered a courtesy car for the period where I was without. Great service from Sam and his guys and I would use again in the future

I’ve seen reviews saying that the after sales care is poor, and if there are issues with the car then they don’t help at all.I’m pleased to say I found the exact opposite. A little difficult to contact at times, but that was due to how busy they are at the moment! Always very apologetic if they took a bit longer to respond.Couple of issues with the car I bought but they had no issue in getting it back in to sort it.Thanks to Samir and the team for sorting us out with a great car and getting it fixed ASAP.

The whole process was incredibly easy and smooth! phoned up about a car, requested a video, submitted a finance application and within 3 days have my new car on the drive! really impressed. its how all garages should be operating. was even able to electronically sign finance documents which was really handy with travel restrictions.

Bought my shiny Audi A3 with S R Motors 3 years ago and had no issues apart from the general wear and tear (expected). I wasn’t expecting the same warranty as you get buying new so I was happy with the great Warranty I was given (didn’t need one in the end) and enjoyed my car ever since.Called the dealership again last week for a BMW X6 but it sold before they could load a picture on the website. Staff member kindly asked me to pop in and have a look around and offered alternatives they had in the showroom and lot. I was suprised that he was able to give me detailed advice on a variety of different cars from two sites that suited my needs.I was able to book in a test drive on another 4X4 and yes I purchased my second car from them. Unknown to us SR Motor Group has 2 sites. We arrived to our appointment at the wrong site, entered the office and called out loudly many times without response. I rang their phone number and was told I had to go to their other site. Before we left my 70 year old father was completely bursting to take a leak, so before he got into the car he very discreetly went behind my car which was parked right at the back of their rear car park next to bins. All of a sudden an asian man (I only use his ethnicity as a way of describing him) appeared and immediately started aggressively swearing at my father. I got out of my car, walked over to him and tried to explain that we couldnt get anyones attention, that I was there to buy a car, had paid a deposit and was there to collect it and asked repeatedly for his name as I felt his behaviour needed reporting to another member of the business. All I got was verbal abuse and then he retreated to his office. Appalled, I rang the other site, explained what had just happened and that after that experience I was certainly not going to be purchasing the car, I didnt get any apology just ok, we will refund your deposit. I then drove off of their forecourt and parked on the road opposite to call and enquire about a car from another seller. Whilst on the phone a car with two other men arrived (which we later learned were family members), they then met with the guy from the office and all three approached my car. When I wouldnt open the car window, because I signalled I was on the phone, one of them pulled my door open. Myself, my partner and my father all jumped out of the car in response. I was accused of pushing the guy from the office, which didnt happen, then we were all verbally abused and threatened with violence. My father apologised for taking a leak but explained he got caught short but they wouldnt listen to any reason. If we had been able to get someones attention when we were in the office initially my father would have asked to use their toilet. The man from the office shouted to my father that he looked like he had cancer and had just two weeks left to live and to put it politely expressed his displeasure at my appearance and my car which they were due to take as a trade in. I asked the man if he was worried about losing his job after this to which he replied he didnt care because he owns the business. At this point my partner was in tears and called the police and my 6 year old was crying in the back of the car. The 3 men retreated to the office and the police arrived and took statements, the men didnt come out, the police had to go in and talk to them. To be honest it was all a blessing in disguise because had I have bought a car from SR Motor Group and had a problem with it I cant imagine their aftercare service would be very pleasant. Thankfully though I did get my deposit back.

Travelled over an hour to view a car. Really disappointed as wet, mouldy and had several big faults. This was not outlined in the advert or mentioned when telephoning to arrange a viewing.Guy working there was friendly and apologetic but doesnt make up for the lost time and fuel.Would not recommend.

I imagine so long as there is nothing wrong with the vehicle you buy you will be fine.Make sure you are fully aware of your rights and I would recommend going in person to discuss any problems because I was given the run around for a week on the phone.I would never buy from them again or recommend.I did get a full refund but i knew my rights

Never, ever again.....sold a lemon and had some missing accessories promised to follow by post....these never arrived despite two reminders from myself (one in person) and promises they were coming; no pride in customer service or satisfaction; seems the tack is to fob you off and hope you give up.. I gave up in the end and have turned around the car by myself which beforehand was quite frankly not fit for purpose. It would have been better if they had been honest about the car and its state...live and learn...buyer beware!When I took this car for an MOT 1 yr after their MOT ( note they use their own garage) I was advised that 3 brake lines were in an extremely dangerous state and one moderately dangerous and a front swinging arm rubber joint was so worn it isn’t possible that It should have passed its last MOT; in fact, the inspector said the brake lines were covered in a layer of grease...he said this was a classic way to HIDE the issue....make of that what you will... point is, I explicitly advised the salesman I would be carrying a small child in this car and he reassured me it was safe.You may get lucky and get something half decent here, but then consider that your odds are about the same with a private seller for a smaller stake and at least a chance of a bargain ; make no mistake; buying a car here IS a roll of the dice and if you have problems you wILL be in for an uphill struggle.

Dont trust them!! Do not buy!! Scammers!!Was told to pay a holding deposit whilst waiting for the AA inspection to be done.Inspection was not very good so was advised not to buy.Have been messed around for almost a year trying to get my money back. No one will talk to me and emails ignored.Am taking legal advice. This is fraudulent.

I bought a mazda 6 from SR Motors, We were given time to browse, there was no pressure and we were left without being hassled. Samir the sales manager was brilliant, he got everything sorted and the whole thing was stressless. My wife and son are both learning to drive, and we will definitely be back to get there cars from here. Ive had the car nearly 2 weeks now and its runs like a dream. Awful awful garage completely ripped us off brought a car from them and within the first week had warning lights going off told us that it was completely normal nothing wrong. Keep going off re rang and yet again told that theres nothing wrong with the car well funny thing is car started to over heat take it to another garage for second day opinion and WELL WELL fun that there really is some thing wrong the head gasket has blown and the car is now a pile of rubbish yet funny that when we ring to tell them they seem to not want to no and dont give a monkeys. Yet for weeks and weeks we were saying somethings wrong with the car!!!!!! Now after a little research on this garage seems that this is a regular thing here many people being ripped off and left with a dud car. NOW THANKS to this wonderful garage Im now stranded at home unable to take my little on to nursery as have no other means of transport oh yes and looking at over a £1000 bill for me to fix a car that was already broken funny that hey sr motors!!!!!!!

Bought a ford fiesta from this company a few years ago with a one year warranty, so thought I would be fine. After a few months discovered to my horror that the head gasket had gone; but as I had the warranty I thought I would be ok. Subsequently discovered there was so many hoops to jump through and so many clauses that the warranty wasnt worth the paper it was written on.Paid for the head to be fixed only to discover the engine was cracked. I have lost a few thousand pounds on this car and would never recommend this company to anyone.Would have given ZERO stars if I could.

Extremely poor service, no checks done on cars, cant believe the AAs name is associated with this garage. The staff are polite until the car is sold, then ignore every problem that arises (and there will be problems). If youve read the rest of these reviews and still buy a car from these scam artists, you only have yourself to blame. Avoid at all costs.If you have bought from them in recent times, the consumer protection agency is an invaluable source of information, but it will take a long time to get any action.

Very Poor Experience. Bought a high performance sports car a few months back, first experiences were very bad but gave it a fair chance before reviewing. I agree with the recent reviews in that I cant believe the AA would associate themselves here - the check is worthless, my car had alignment problems and faulty tyres which almost led to a major accident, surely this is basic stuff the AA should pick up! There have also been electrical and feature issue you wouldnt expect if a thorough check was done. In my view, what seperates a good and bad business is the aftercare, and unfortunately it was poor. Value for money was okay, although I have had to spend some of my own money rectifying issues that werent brought to light, seriously do your research if you choose to do business here.

Bought 2 cars in February at total cost of £20000. Within weeks one of the cars an Audi A3 required a new battery and the wheels required re-alignment. The second, a BMW 5 series is a whole different story. I have just returned from the car repairers. They discribe the car as a complete pig and advise that the car requirers a total respray. They have shown how the car has sustained numerous dents and how its had a bodged respray just so that it can be sold. I appreciate that I should have checked the car prior to purchase but the bottom line is, I didnt, but rather I trusted what I was being told. So if you are thinking of buying a car from SR Motors of Swindon.......DONT.....you have been warned

If I could give zero stars I would, but it doesnt give me this option. If your thinking of purchasing a vehicle from this garage I would think very hard about it, if I had known I would have the problems Ive incurred since I brought my car in November 2016 I wouldnt have bothered.Within days of owning my new car I incurred numerous problems, which after making contact with them they agreed to fix but what I didnt know is they were going to try and save money and bodge the job which resulting in more damage to the vehicle. After contacting them for weeks for it to be repaired again I did not get it fixed until the end of January 2017. Once again within a week or 2 I incurred yet more problems in which they took ages to respond to numerous phone calls and emails requesting to speak with the owner (which to this day I still am yet to speak with him) because they took ages to respond they are now saying it isnt there fault and it has passed the 3 months warranty and will not fix the faults which have incurred due to the first original issue. They are now ignoring my emails and attempt to sort things amicably, which I am now having to take things further with consumer rights act as the vehicle as not been fit for purpose. I must add that they refused to give my money back within the first 30 days of purchase.Also please note that they use there own service and MOT garage, which I had been advised by VOSA that the car should not have passed its fresh mot with all the faults that I had within days of owning the car.PLEASE PLEASE THINK ABOUT BUYING A VEHICLE FROM THIS GARAGE, I WISH I HADNT AND NOW IM PAYING FOR IT WITH A VEHICLE THAT IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!
