In the summer of 2018 we purchased two night stands. A year later the finish began peeling. We also purchased an electic reclining couch with a black leather cover. The backing has been peeling on it even though we use a leather cleaner once a month. That fall, we also purchased their best dinning wood table. Last spring the finish began chipping off.We will not waste our time not money there again.

Our sales person Mariah was very helpful. We got a great deal on what we were looking for. Will definitely shop at Slumberland for future furniture purchases.

Love the furniture, its lovely and seems well made. Prices are typical for the times.Most of the people working there... to lazy to even greet us as we came into the store. One of the energetic ones did come out from behind the front desk to help us, he was very knowledgeable and kind.I doubt that I will go to Slumberland (Beaver Dam) again. The employees there left something to be desired. Why would I subject myself to these rude people.Too bad, as I have plans to upgrade my existing furniture in the future.

Apparently Slumberland removed my review. Glad I caught that, so allow me to give you one star again.I am beyond frustrated with the purchase I made at this business. I spent $4300 on a king bed & mattress. The shopping experience was fine but the bed was back ordered to March. Then in March I get a call saying it now wont be in until April. Then April I get a call saying May. Then, like clockwork in May I get the call saying June. How is it possible for a company to have zero ability to just give an accurate ship date? Dont take peoples money & pacify them by each month pushing it out again. I was given a refund in May, ordered a bed from Bobs Discount & received it in a week. You need to tell customers the real deal so we can make decisions. Really glad I slept on the floor for months because I trusted that you were giving me legitimate ship dates. Ill never shop here again, nor do I recommend them to others.Ill monitor to see if my review is removed again. Original review was posted 5/17/21.

I worked at Ashley furniture and Michelle Rupp was not like them. She did NOT follow me around which I loved...she checked on me periodically to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. She didnt try to steer me anywhere. Best experience in-store furniture shopping!! Thank you Michelle for not assuming my taste and letting me roam to find my recliner! I went in for a $500 chair I saw online and wanted to test... Bought something much more expensive. Thank you Slumberland for not being a forced follower of your customers, if this is only due to covid...keep this in place!!!

Stopped at the Beaver Dam store on a whim to look for a new recliner. I was impressed with the vast selection to chose from. What I really liked was the sales person showed me what they had then left me be to do my thing. No hovering over or rushing me nor she try to steer me to the most expensive one. Once I picked out the right chair for me, the paperwork took a quick minute and I was out the door. Id work with Slumberland again.

Stacy was very helpful! We told her what we were looking for..she asked about our time frame with respect to our need/want...She did a couple of searches online for us. She gave us all of our options and when we made our choice did not try to talk us into spending more than we wanted to. We will shop here again the next time we buy furniture.

I had given them a great review... until todays delivery. We waited for 4 weeks for our mattress. Delivery guys were here 35 minutes early, no courtesy call. The frame slides were missing. Timlins in Hartford saved the day. They had a frame with casters that the delivery guys got and brought back. Finally, the bagged, deflated mattress has a stain. I bought your in-store mattress protector, why? Delivery guys took a picture and apologized profusely. Michelle & Ryan apologized, too. For that, a $58 refund or we could wait for ??? for another mattress. We got rid of our old mattress this morning. Please dont tell us how sorry you are about our experience, it sounds good to potential customers, but it doesnt change a thing for us. Hope your delivery guys enjoy the Culvers gift cards. They get the worst of deliveries-gone-wrong.

Went into the beaver dam location just to look at the stock they had for sectionals. Found a perfect sectional for my house that they happened to have in stock and was out in 20 minutes!! So helpful and easy to work with!! Worked with Michelle Rupp. 5 star experience!

Slumberland Furniture: A wonderful experienceHad to replace some very old furniture. I was referred to the store from my mother, she also purchased from Slumberland, she was very impressed with them. The shopping experience was great, we had a fantastic saleslady named Brandy. The delivery was long but lets be honest, Covid was the culprit. Today was the delivery and thankfully the drivers were wearing masks. Delivery was extremely quick while doing a fantastic job. There was a problem though. One of the two loveseats had a smaller than a dime hole in it, slight tear in the arm corner. I had to call the store, I then spoke with the manager Ryan, he went over my options and accepted a discount on the furniture rather than go through the trouble of a new delivery. I am fully satisfied.Thank you Ryan!Michael

Slumberland in Beaver dam has repeatedly filled my home with terrific furniture. My wife and I have found tremendous success in the bargain corner of the store. The staff is very helpful, the layout shows a huge variety, and all feels very well managed.

Michelle and Slumberland were awesome. She helped us find the perfect bed, pillows, adjustable base and sheets. Very good quality and we are very happy with our purchase and experience.

We walked in and explained what we were looking for. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We walked out within half an hour with exactly what we needed and a great delivery date for the special sale item we purchased. Great experience!

Are sales person was good but the after affect of everything sucks. I understand some of this is not control by slumberland but by the manufacturer. But Month after month after month and still no delivery. And on top of that to say two or three weeks they will be able to refund you is just ridiculous. Be upfront with people I will not be back

Our experience was great at first. Ryan did a great job when we were shopping. However once it came they delivered the wrong piece. We immediately called and Ryan answered. He had to call me back because he was with a customer. I was taken back by that as I was not happy and was not made a priority. I was patient though and he called back. He didnt seem to properly understand the issue. After he finally got it he said he would call me back. Turns out the piece was at the store and they brought the wrong one. I said great so can you bring it today. He said no Monday. Long story short that was unacceptable and we ended up getting it... More then 1/2 of our day was wrecked waiting for this couch. Ryan may be a good sales man, but after the sale he doesnt seem to care what happens. He immediately blamed everyone else, argued with me and never once said I am sorry. The customer service was definitely lacking once we made a purchase and a problem arised. The whole situation could have been handled much better. The guy who ended up delivering it (by himself, we had to help unload) was very pleasant though and apologized and thats why I gave a third star.

The woman who helped me pick out a new bed was very friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the different types of beds they offered. If was a quick and simple process from picking a bed to purchasing, and she fully explained the wait time for delivery. Definitely would reccomend going here if looking for a bed, or even furniture overall.

Ryan was very professional. My ship date changed several times. It was originally August and I didn’t receive my furniture until November. Ryan was very thorough with answering all my questions and concerns. I took off 2 stars because Brandy at the same location was incredibly rude and unprofessional!! I have no time for someone who’s in sales/customer service to treat me the way she did!

I went to pick up a mattress and everything on my checklist was marked off. My salesperson Ryan is very knowledgeable about the product, inventory and process. Nice guy too! I will definitely be going back.

Beware of a few issues we had. My daughter special ordered a couch and chaise which were to be attached. Slumberland ordered it wrong and after waiting 11 months to get it found out the two pieces didnt connect. So, they offer to order another one (which no way would she take a chance on waiting another 11 months) and if she chose that route, she could borrow the wrong couch but have to return it in excellent condition once the new one came in. Who would be able to return a couch after 11 months in excellent condition unless you dont use it? Crazy. My daughter opted to completely return everything for a full refund because it was their fault they ordered the wrong pieces. (Keep in mind it was ordered in November 2020 and was delivered in October 2020. Once they received it in their warehouse, they couldnt get her on the delivery schedule for another 2 weeks.) Once she said she was returning it, they picked it up the next business day. Funny how they could do that so quickly! Well now it has been over 3 weeks and NO refund yet. My daughter called Slumberland in Beaver Dam and they had no idea that it was returned and to issue a refund. PLEASE, before shopping local, check out all of your options. My daughter has a new pit couch that was delivered within 2 weeks from a bigger store. We are well aware of all the shortages of everything, but funny how another store was able to deliver a product in record time! Hope she gets her refund much faster than 11 months!

So heres the final review... DONT BOTHER. I understand that things happen that youre not in control of, but be upfront with customers. We were told 6-8 weeks for delivery, we were also told that we would be called every two weeks with status updates. We got one phone call after three weeks and was told then that it would be an additional two weeks before delivery. Yesterday, my wife texted someone at the store and she was told that it would now be the end of the month, and that they had called us every two weeks with updates which they hadnt.We cancelled the order today and the service was deplorable. Accept the fact that we found something comparable at a better price and move on.If youre in the market for furniture in the area, go to Sun Prairie or Madison, its not that far!

I was looking for a chair that was in a Slumberland ad that had been discontinued and was no longer available when the ad came out in the Madison area. Calling around, I found the floor sample in Beaver Dam and within two hours I had become the happy owner of that chair. Brandie and Ryan were so helpful and just refreshingly friendly. It was so worth the 45 minute drive to this smaller community for the service I received. I will be back!
