Nice, clean little cafe with seating. Staff was very nice, friendly and efficient. I ordered a hot, salted caramel latte which I enjoyed more than Starbucks. I also ordered the blueberry scone which was very fresh and the best Ive had in years. I was in and out within just a few minutes. Someone drove to the drive up window and was waited on immediately (11am on a weekday). Glad I stopped by.

Love this place!!! Always a person or two in front of you which just speaks of how delicious all of their drinks and bakery are. My average time spent in the drive through is about 5 minutes give or take. Going inside is a lot faster but I don’t blame anyone for the line at the drive through! The convenience that they even have a drive through is wonderful.

Lovely coffee and decent atmosphere! My frappe was great (not too sweet) and the other people in our group loved their cold brews. The decor was a little cold and sparse, but very clean and friendly. Definitely exceeded our expectations for a highway coffee shop!

Never had a bad experience with this cafe. Just had one of their blueberry scones hot out of the oven and it was DELICIOUS. Great atmosphere and the coffee is flavorful.

Went for the first time today and ordered a chocolate malt frappe. One of the smoothest frappes I’ve ever had. McDonalds can’t even compare! I definitely will be back.

It has a bit of a spartan/minimalist feel but it is clean, the employees were very friendly, and the coffee was strong!

Very friendly every time. Coffee is amazing! I always get a bag of Marsh Mud when I stop. Best dark roast Ive had! Just picked up a bag of the Raven Espresso to try. Every bag has always been brewed within the last week.

The coffee blends sound very interesting and the coffee I got was good, the homemade marshmallow was really good too.

Unacceptably slow drive through, waited in line ten minutes to watch three different cars drive up, go in and get their coffee while only one car was serviced through the drive through, will never go back!

A nunatak is the mountain top which protrudes through a surrounding glacier. Perhaps this embodies a small town coffee shop trying to stand out among a predictable, big box commercial zone, set in a small, unassuming strip mall? This minimalist/industrial modern-feel coffee shop is easy on/off from US 151 and equipped with a drive-thru. The team was super-friendly and knew the menu well. Espresso roast was well-balanced in the Nunatak latte, which blended a heavy dose of caramel with plenty of cinnamon to balance. Sweeter than I normally prefer, I could see why this would be their signature beverage and its worth a try. While the food offerings were minimal due to COVID-19, the quality of baked goods was surprisingly good, especially the crispy, flakey croissant. Theyre expecting to have a food menu ready in May, 2021. Ill be back!

Nice looking place, but they don’t make anything quickly. It’s very easy to comply with government standards and have the inside of the coffee shop open. They STILL have the inside portion closed. Very disappointing.

It’s always a good experience. The staff is SO incredibly friendly and kind. I love going to Nunatak and choose it over any other coffee shop. Their beverages are delicious and their Yukon potato wrap is the bomb! I’m SO glad Nunatak is in Beaver Dam.

The only place this side of Madison to get a decent coffee/espresso, if you like actual coffee. Also love the freshly roasted beans.

Very nice and clean coffee shop. Spacious facilities, even a drive thru. Service was fast and friendly. The Nunatak Latte was delicious. Now for the downside. I expect a good coffee shop to serve something better than antibiotic and hormone infested Great Value Milk from Wal-Mart. Maybe Organic would be a better choice?

The shoppes interior is a little cool in temperature and decoration. It should be warm and cozy, inviting. We had hot chocolate. The frothy milk was a nice touch but it seemed more sweet than chocolate. Very good service, friendly staff. More bakery items would be nice.

Higher quality and tastier than Starbucks but the same price maybe less! I was surprised they didn’t have more food options but everything I got was delicious.

New favorite! Great local beans, decent prices, clean bright place and service with a smile. Also, they do have a drive up window, its not so obvious, but its simple and fast.

Extremely great service and the food is good with the coffee. My daughter loved the sweets and the smoothies they have.

Really neat to see a local business give it a go. Clean and well furnished with a pleasant decor. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Had a latte and it was the foamiest Ive ever had. Roast was on the lighter side but didnt have the burnt coffee taste of the well known national chain.

Ive had several business meetings here. One thing about coffee shops that I notice is outlets. They have TONS of outlets. A lot of the smaller one off shops dont have this amenity.Otherwise great coffee. Good bakery. Nice people.

Coffee and baked goods are good. Really like that it is a locally owned business and coffee roaster. They use to have the very best house brewed chai tea but are now using a commercial product that is pretty ordinary. It is a convenient location for me on my route to Madison. Wish the shop had more warmth and personality, however it is very clean.

Wow! Love the minimalist atmosphere and general design. I could stare at the menu all day, 11/10. Coffee is also excellent, roasted right here in Beaver Darn. Check it out! Ill definitely be back soon

This place is an unexpected gem hidden away in this little shopping area in Sun Prairie. I recommend heading over to this shop for some good quality coffee and some of their sweetbreads.

Of all the things I missed after we moved from a suburb of MInneapolis, Starbucks & Caribou coffee shops were on the top of my list. They are on hand no matter where you are in the Twin Cities. Now in Mayville, the closest Starbucks is so very very very far away. Lo & behold! Nunatak! Just where Id least expect it! I am in heaven (^_^).

Im not from beaver dam, but me and my boyfriend were in town so we decided to try it out this morning. he got a caramel macaroon frappe and i got the scotcheroo frappe. was okay. not a lot of flavor in thescotcheroo. his was a little better but not much. also felt kinda awkward cause when we walked in the workers were just standing there staring at us.. also it was so silent i didn’t really like that part, they should have some sort of music or something. i wouldn’t go again and i wouldn’t recommend..next time i’ll just go to guth’s in waupun like i usually do.

Slow on preparation, roast is much too light, too sterile of a decor. Even the cold brew straight up is weak. You would be much better hitting the local gas station for coffee.

While the staff/owner are pleasant and hospitable, and their selections are pleasing, I’m sorry to say the atmosphere is very “cold” feeling. The concrete finish and industrial seating doesn’t appeal to me when I’m looking to lounge w/ friends sharing convo over a cup ‘o joe. I hope the location is a bonus for them!

According to a different website, this establishment has been open for approximately two years. The cooler of beverages was 99% empty. The menu is not a full menu because they are still experimenting, in soft open mode according to an emplyee. Cold steel metal chairs did not appear to be inviting. No food menu however there were a handful of bakery items in the display. I learned from a different customer that there are breakfast wraps available. You wont be in business long with this plan.

First time going there the staff was not friendly. Their furniture was not the best to sit and be comfortable on.

Walk in or drive thru. Wifi and tablets available for meetings.
