Last week I was looking for a new car. I called Herzog-Meier and spoke to Austin, who informed me that new models would be arriving the following week. He placed me in the call list, and as expected he called me the following weekend to informed me the model I was looking for had arrived. I went on a Sunday afternoon to visit the dealership, and met with him. I even confused his name for Anthony by mistake, and in his kind demeanor he reassured me not to worry. That set the tone for a very pleasant experience purchasing a car. He patiently walked me through all the steps from showcasing the car, test driving, explaining features, filling out forms, answering questions and payment. Above all, I was very impressed with his willingness to go the extra mile. I had forgotten my checkbook at home, and he offered to ride along with me after the process was complete to assure I wouldn’t loose my spot purchasing the car. He was very honest and the car price listed was the price I paid. Brandi was also very helpful, kind, and patient in assisting with additional paperwork and payment. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience, and I would like to especially thank Austin. He was genuine, kind, honest, and very very patient with me. I would recommend anyone reading this post and planning to purchase a car to talk to Austin first. And remember, it’s Austin and not Anthony, but regardless he will forgive you anyway and provide you with an outstanding car shopping experience.
Bought a new vehicle from HM with Austin White as my sales person and the experience could have not gone better. He even came earlier than he was supposed to meet my schedule. The experience was effortless and very fast as compared to past experiences. Back to Austin W, he was knowledgeable and honest about the current issue with inventory due to current supply chain challenges. Would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone.

Warning: Long Review! Possibly beneficial if you have never purchased through a dealership in general :) The time had come for me to begin looking at purchasing a new vehicle. I was ready to upgrade from my tiny old civic to something larger that will last me a long time. Because of this, I figured I would go through a dealership for something brand new with warranties and such.I have not had any experience with VW in the past but began to look at the 2022 Taos that recently came out. It seemed like the perfect next step from a sedan - an SUV thats not too big but still had roomy interior for passengers and ample storage/cargo space.I began my search by submitting an inquiry online for the specific vehicle. Ayman (internet sales manager) quickly emailed me back with information. He also offered to have me come in for a test drive, but I wanted to wait until I was closer to being ready to purchase.Once I was ready to test drive (about a month later), I walked into their lobby. I had dropped in without contacting them ahead of time, which I dont normally do in big situations like this. I, myself, have worked in a similar sales industry so I try to be respectful of their schedules and existing appointments. I happened to have time that day and was in the area.Upon arriving, they were extremely welcoming. I asked for Ayman, as that is who had initially contacted me, and he came out to introduce himself. He then introduced me to Memet (sales consultant) who would take me on the test drive. I believe Ayman already had an appointment at that time with someone else, completely understandable as I had dropped in without any notice, but he seamlessly ensured someone else could help me right away.The test drive was quick, simple and straight to the point. Memet was very knowledgeable and comfortable to converse with. Once the test drive was done, he invited me to sit down in the lobby so he could provide me with additional information. Ayman then made sure to loop back around to see how the test drive went and to ensure all my questions had been answered.I was not expecting purchasing a vehicle that day, however, the customer service experience they provided made me feel so comfortable with no added pressure. It was completely my decision to pull the trigger and initiate the purchase process. Shannon (sales manager) came out to introduce herself and was so friendly. We discussed the history of the dealership and how it is family owned. They truly value their customers and it shows - they were completely transparent with everything.Once the decision had been made and everything was locked in, they introduced me to Enrique who would complete the paperwork. At this point, it was slightly past when they technically closed and I apologized for keeping him. He quickly assured me that there was no reason for me to apologize and that is what he was there for. Enrique took his time, carefully explaining everything he was placing in front of me to sign.From the time I walked in the door to the time I pulled out of the dealership, the process was completed within 4 hours. **Mind you, this was my first time purchasing through a dealership so I kept them very busy with questions and ultra-thorough explanations of each step along the way. They reassured me they were more than happy to take the time! I imagine if you have been through the purchase/financing process and was familiar with it, your time would have been much quicker.Because the car I ultimately chose had arrived to the lot that day, they needed to take the following day to complete final checks and cleaning. Once it was ready, Memet called me to schedule a pick up time - come to find out later that it was actually his day off, but he chose to come in and personally hand me the keys. This was a big and exciting day for me and that service made it feel even more special.I cannot express my gratitude to this entire team enough. They exceeded all of my dealership expectations! When the time comes for a different vehicle they will be seeing me again! :)
There was a slight mix up when it came to the drop off of my keys in the overnight box. Although the technician thought I had missed my appointment my car and keys were indeed at the dealership.After establishing that I had not missed my allotted time they stayed late and made sure my car was serviced properly. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure I had my vehicle back on-time and had a positive attitude throughout our correspondence.

During the purchase, the salesman pointed to the 94k service on the CarFax report and said, The timing belt was done then.I just dropped off the Jetta to have the timing belt replaced because the salesman LIED and the belt was not replaced earlier.The service experience was very good and the work performed seems top-notch.

Customer service here is so on point. Especially when we work directly with Jenna. Never matters how frustrated I am about having to bring my car in or how inconvenient it seems, the minute I walk in and start engaging with Jenna all that stress just dissolves and we end up laughing and having a great time. She is very prompt and succinct in all her communications and I never wonder whats going on with my car. Just purchased a new 2019 Golf AllTrack. So sorry to see this car go from the US market, but we love it! Rides nice and feels very solid on the road. Ive driven many cars, from BMW to Audi to Genesis to Kia and this is another fine German car, Solid! Landon Ayala did a great job and there was absolutely no pressure from him or Patrick in the process. What you see is what you get, they are upfront about the process and make it very easy to transact business.

I traveled about 2 hours to see the cars available in Beaverton after looking online, and Im happy with how H-M Volkswagen handled the occasion. Robert Yray was extremely helpful and honest with each vehicle we looked at, never pushy, and did his best to get what I negotiated for during the whole ordeal. Sure, it takes several hours of waiting with 2-3 minutes of actual talking sprinkled in there, but even when Robert was done handling paperwork he was making conversation with me and my family while we waited. I would recommend H-M to others.
I came to Mazda to trade in my CX5 for a CX30 and got exactly what I wanted. I was greeted by Hailey B who helped me with everything from when I walked in to when I walked out, even staying past closing time to make sure I got to take my new car home! Hailey is new to the Mazda team but did a fantastic job on making sure I got all my questions answered by her amazingly helpful manager Chad. Together they made a great team and I couldn’t be happier with them and my car. I wanted to share a good experience with this dealership. Landon and his sales managers were excellent. I had ordered a new ID4 and it had just come in. Landon was good about sharing the progress of the transit of the vehicle over the months. We really love the car but decided due to our extensive travel in snow we are going to wait for the all-wheel-drive version. There was no pressure and they did not make us feel bad for not taking the car that we had ordered. The dealership was very clean and all of the staff was very welcoming. We will definitely make our purchase from this dealership when the newly ordered car comes in this summer. Would highly recommend.

We purchased our Atlas from Isaac, he is the best. He listened to what we wanted and was NEVER pushy. He gave us as much time as we needed to decide which car we were going to purchase. The process was very quick and we left with our new car.We were so impressed with Isaac that one week later we decided to purchase another car and Isaac had the car pulled up so we could look at it when we arrived. We decided on a different car a Passat. The process was very quick again.We would HIGHLY recommend Issac. My check engine light came on at 2pm yesterday and i called to see if they could pull the code. An hour later I was at the service department and theyd pulled the code and had the part needed in stock. Asked if I could wait 20 minutes while the swapped in the part and sent me on my way! They were super busy and I got lucky as they had a cancelation and could slide me in despite being booked out a month. Cant guarantee that itll be like this for everyone, but I can say that theyll do their best given whatever the circumstances are, which is all anyone can ask for. 10/10 dentists recommend.

We purchased a new VW ID.4 electric SUV from Herzog-Meier Volkswagen in September. It was a surprisingly very positive experience. Our salesperson Landon was excellent to work with and was very knowledgeable and prompt and courteous when replying to emails and phone calls - we recommend him very highly. The finance person was also very nice and did not try to push un-needed services/upgrades on us.

We have been eyeballing the VW Tiguan for a couple of years now. It seemed to suite our families needs perfectly. Tons of high-end technology, comfort and safety features, loads of room, great optional 3rd row seat, and great gas mileage for a price tag that isnt out of this world. But we couldnt find the right trim, color, and packages for the price we were looking for. I shared all that with Thomas Provost, and in a few days, he told me that the car I was looking was going to be at the dealership in a couple of months. He kept my information, and when the car was finally here, he did his absolute best to get us enough incentives that made it fit our budget, which made buying this awesome car a breeze. Purchased an ID4 in July 2021. Landon Ayala helped me through the entire process of ordering the car, and discussing costs, etc before the car arrived. Another dealer would not discuss pricing with me at all! Once the car came, we were able to discuss everything and go over the paperwork over the phone and via email, which made the process so easy once we actually sat down to sign the paperwork. We were walking in the showroom, sitting in cars and trying to make eye contact with an employee. Five or six persons with dealership lanyards walked by without acknowledging us in anyway. Not even a nod! We were absolutely invisible. We are looking to buy a new SUV but it will not be from here.

Buying a car at Herzog-Meier Volkswagen in Beaverton was not a fun experience.My car was totaled in my driveway when I was not home. I had to get a car much more quickly than I would normally like. I had done my research on-line and knew which car I wanted. I test drove all comparable options and decided I wanted the Volkswagen Tiguan SEL.In the past I settled on the car on the lot, this time I simply wanted red. There was only one red Tiguan SEL in the Portland/Vancouver area, and I wanted it. It was at Herzog-Meier Volkswagen in BeavertonI called and spoke with a sales lady. We worked out the details. On the way to the dealership I got a text that she wasn’t going to be available and she asked that I speak to someone else. When I arrived, that person wasn’t there and I was turned over to a very inexperienced salesperson. This guy couldn’t answer the most basic questions nor could he explain any of the ‘numbers’ and fees.The sales manager kept producing pricing sheets that he was making up and printing off at his desk. We had already agreed on the price and he was inventing fees and charges. At one point he tried to explain to me how they lose money on every car they sell. Really. Such old school car dealer lies and deceptions. I was ready to walk out, but they had the only red Tiguan.So then I asked if I could just pay with a personal check and was told no by both the sales person and the sales manager. I called my bank’s 24/7 loan department and was approved for the full amount of the car in 10 minutes.When I got to the ‘signer’, she was delightful. When I explained that I had arranged financing but was going to pay cash on Monday (this was Saturday evening) she said “you can just write a check, then bring in a cashiers check on Monday”.I got the car, drove it home. I love the car. I’m glad I got it. It just seems strange as hard as car dealers try to improve their image, Herzog-Meier in Beaverton has not caught on. I would have literally gone anywhere else if someone had the red car or I had the time to order it. I can’t in good conscience recommend this dealership.
Originally, I was over at one of their neighboring dealers checking out a used Jetta. I had no desire to purchase a brand-new vehicle at the time. As it turned out, they apparently sold it the day prior and had not taken the model off their website. At the time, I never sat in a newer Jetta, so I honestly had no idea whether it was a vehicle I would have liked if I saw it in person or not. That is when I decided to hop over to Herzog-Meier just down the street with the intention to just look.Within a few minutes of browsing the lot, Robert Yray came out to greet us. Long story short, I drove away in my brand new 2020 Jetta after a few days of communication. My prior experiences with other dealers had left a bad taste, but not this time. Throughout the whole experience Robert was both professional, and friendly. He was always happy to answer my questions, even when I stated I was merely looking on the first day. He understood that a customer does not want to feel pressured in these situations, and gave the space needed to feel comfortable while doing what he could to help piece everything together. If I had a concern, Robert provided solutions and information to ease them. Overall, he was a very down to earth kind of guy which helps people like me.A shoutout to their business manager, Enrique Ojeda as well. Filling out the final paperwork and having all parts of the financial aspects broken down, made understanding everything much easier.Herzog-Meier Volkswagen’s website states that they are committed to providing customers with honesty, respect, and courtesy. I drove away feeling they nailed each of those. So, thank you to the team at Herzog-Meier, and especially Robert for being an upstanding sales consultant! I will be enjoying my new car for a long time to come.
I just leased my 4th vehicle from Herzog-Meier VW, and it was a smooth and fun process. My previous lease was ending and I knew I wanted to remain loyal to Herzog-Meier VW because of their great service, but was unsure which car I wanted. Ayman Achour went above and beyond going over all the different features and models with me. When I first started car shopping I figured I’d get the 2020 model of what I already had. But after inquiring about the Tiguan, I was in new territory which Ayman patiently helped me navigate.Once I selected my new wheels, Ayman helped me differentiate the features for each model, made sure I got the best available pricing and helped the entire process go smoothly. He showed me all of the cool and important features of my new vehicle, and the paperwork was a breeze. I was able to hand him the keys to my previous car (lease end) and he handed me the keys to my sweet new ride. He took the time to show us the various features of our new vehicle. The department Manager Patrick was friendly and courteous along with the business manager, Enrique who completed our loan setup. Super happy with our buying process.

This was the first time visiting Herzog-Meier and I must admit this was a very pleasant experience.....The staff was welcoming, courteous and very helpful....thank you Nic....To tell you the truth this was definately the best dealer ship I have ever visited and over my life time I have visited a few....There was 2 lounge areas, with ample seating, tables to work on, places to plug your phone and laptop in, coffee and tea making facilities, with many herbal teas available....a fruit bowl and cookies... what more do you want while your waiting....And even the tv had interesting topic and interests...not some boring daytime television....There is a large merchandise shop to look around and best of all they had some awesome photos and pictures dotted around....very pleasant experience.....Thank you...highly recommend.
