Im very satisfied with their products. I bought two pair of Adidas socks. The socks are comfortable & kept my feet from blistering. Ive gone into Big 5 with family in the past years. Great local sporting goods store.

It wasnt because 3 staff members tailed me through the store like I was a common thief, not one of them asking if they could help me, or that, when I got to the counter, I stood and waited 15 minutes for the cashier helping another customer at the speed of a sloth, while the Manager and an additional employee stood there and chatted, presumably so they could keep an eye on me. The reason I walked out was that the customer in front of me receiving service had his mask down the entire time and none of the employees said anything. In the future, please enforce your own rules, especially when they are mandated for public safety.

Staff is friendly and very attentive. Love the selection and affordable price of shoes and other goods. You actually have purchasing power at Big 5!

Great place to go for great deals on shoes. They always have specials with great prices. Also a good place to get camping and outdoor gear if youre a camping enthusiast. Definitely a great store to check out if you need something for sports or outdoor

Went in to get some shoes on ad. I saw several I wanted to try out. An older man was working in the shoe department, probably in his 60s. He just stood there most of the time and stared at the shoes.I started looking for shoes on sale. He didnt say a word. I asked where they are. In a very gruff voice he said just tell me what you want and I will find it in back.WAIT....you dont keep any boxes out here? I have to ask EVERY time I want to see a different shoe? No reply.I walked around for at least 10 minutes looking at different shoes, the entire time he stood by the shoe display staring, never saying a word, like he was a zombie.Finally found a couple pairs. Once again he grumbled and said give them to him and he will check on size. Nope, they were out of my size on both, but he brought out a size too big.I finally said no I dont want these and I dont want to have to ask every time I want to try on a shoe. This is EXTREMELY inconvenient.So basically I have to bring this old man a shoe, he will check if its in stock, if not, keep looking.I dont like being hovered over and Im not going to keep asking for an items to be brought out so I can try it. That is wasting my time. I might try on several pairs.Overall a bad experience. I went to Ross and found a pair of shoes on the rack I bought instead.Wont return to Big 5 again.

The store was very clean and picked up, you didnt see anything out of place everything were it belonged,The employees seemed to have a since of pride for their store and profession,The gentleman that helped my granddaughter and I out today 9/19 with picking out the best basketball shoes for her to have, and she needed them for tomorrow he didnt care he started bring shoes out and we just kept trying them until 1 pair finally worked, we were there for a while he wasnt given up.We got the shoes, socks my granddaughter was happy and basketball practice could start on time tomorrow.

This store is fairly large and has a good selection of products. They have always been well staffed and the employees are very helpful. This is a great place to go for fitness equipment, apparel, and footwear. They also have of the many essentials for camping. They have some really good sales on occasion.

Decent selection of merchandise at a fair price, but the staff were very reluctant to provide assistance pulling a product off the shelf, which I could not safely do on my own.I had intended to purchase the item after finding my size, but ended up leaving empty handed because of the weird interaction.

Pretty big place to get anything sports related. Basics to specifics. Theres a lot of sections so its easier to ask where things are specifically. When I went I was directed to the basketballs. Theres plenty to choose from, yet I had trouble finding youth size basketballs. They literally only had two more in the same color. I was looking for more color selection. But who knows, maybe they were sold out. It just surprised me there werent more. All in all the employees were helpful.

Went there for mens active shoes. They have a decent selection of shoes at more reasonable prices. Many of the shoes are available to try on right away because the boxes are there. They have decent sales on things. Of course they dont have a huge a selection as much bigger stores, but for the size of the store, the selection is good - and you dont have to navigate the mall or large parking lot. The young man who rang up our purchase was very nice.

Seems hard and harder to find sporting good stores. Big five has a little of everything stay in season and you should be fine. Prices we found so e winter clothing for 50% off great deal. Will stop in to price shop and see.

Was was able to walk in and get exactly what I wanted. The best part is that the salesperson checked to see what was on sale and I got it!!

This store was in a long line of stores we tried today for Snowboots. They went above and beyond to help us find two pairs for our Giving tree Project. Absolutely would and will be back for future items.

Of all of the Big-Box sporting goods stores, Big-5 is my favorite. They have been around for a while and are surviving the internet age quite well. I enjoy the good selection of products and the seasonal rotation of sporting goods and apparel. The footwear staff has always been friendly and the cashiers are top notch.

Check the store out if you want a good price on limited selection. Did have a pretty good selection of shoes for outdoor and athletic activities. Dont expect to park close to the store, the lot is busy on the weekend.

Big 5 prices are not comparable. Im surprised they are still in business. I come here for the sale on shoes and nothing else. Sales to them is not a sale at all. Customer service is good but they wont last. They are another G.I. Joes. Flash sales might bring business. Last ditch opportunity.

Got help from someone who seemed like their manager (he told me he recently moved from Jersey and wasnt used to any kindness). Would recommend looking through the computer they have stationed there to search up items available in the store or at other store locations.

Worst customer service ever. Jake was not engaged or pleasant, wasnt helpful at all. I came into purchase a specific item. A 200 dollar item, a night vision monocular. After requesting the item from the display case, they had only the floor midel.. no problem, however when I asked to see all the information and box, he said I dont know where it is and it might be in basement.....then stood there...Instead of offering to go get it, I had to say. Well can you go get it please.. after giving me the look likereally. He did not once smile, ask what I would be using the product for to make sure I was purchasing the correct product. Treating me as if I am an inconvenience, I decided to leave. Then to top it off, on the way out the door, 2 sales reps behind cash register counter snickered and said byebye..have a nice day. Headed to Dicks to get my night vision monocular. Never to return.

We entered and we nicely greeted but when it came time to get helped in the sporting goods, specifically the gun department, which was about 20 feet from the main check out where we were greeted . Visible by the 4 employees who were just standing around talking. I am 53 years old and my Fiance is 40, so its not like we looked under age. Jokingly my fiance said to me as we walked in, one of us is going to walk out with a new gun. I smiled, however when nobody came to help us....well we walked out and sad for Big 5, one of the check out people asked us if we were ready to check out? Come on people, you just lost a sale to Cabellas. Just trying to help the little guy. Consider hiring attention to detail and attention to customers. Sorry folks wont be returning to this store.

Very small camping equipment department put of many things. If you tout yourselves as a CD sporting goods store, you should carry more than just a token smattering of camping equipment. Complete waste of time if you are looking for camping gear. I will not be back anytime soon.

Chase was amazing help finding alternatives to what I came in for. They have something for all sports, but quality in archery gear is lacking.

I used to shop at Big 5 for most of my outdoor activities clothing shoes etc.I stopped shopping there it had become stale and sales were dull not appealing like they once were.I believe things have changed I spent over an hour in Big 5 Beaverton, walked out with watch some shoes and other goodies.I was not planning on buying anything.Great customer service and guess what I will be back sooner than later.Great job.I hate shopping Amazon!

We are staying in Beaverton due to my husband having Cancer. He loves the slippers you can buy at Big 5 and needed a new pair. I read these bad reviews and did not think too much of it. Got the address and we went to this store. I can also say my experience at this store was also BAD! We asked the clerk for slippers, due to it being out of season we were told they are in the back. She went to get the manager to help us. He was rude, said it would take 5-10 minutes to find them then when we said we wanted the slippers with the rubber soles, he tried to give us crocs. At this point he says they do not have any slippers (which was bs, he did 1 minute ago) We were obviously bothering him! I will never go back!!

I paid for two sets of shoes, a size 6 & a size 7, returned to my car realized my daughters nike ran a size 7. So I simply wanted to exchange the 7 for an 8 & was billed for another set! So I guess the manager cant do exchanges correct!
