Today was my first time in the store. I was greeted right away and Kim helped me find the shoe for me. She measured my foot and took the time to remove a tiny piece of glue that was poking at my foot. This was my first purchase of a pair of Birkenstock. She explained that they will mold to my feet and soften up with time. I was pleased with the service Kim provided.

If they didnt ha e the right size they ordered one and got it there for me within a couple days!

What a gem of a shoe store! Its a fairly small store with relatively limited selection, but its a very well-chosen selection. I was looking for a casual shoe for my daily walks and general around-town wear, but not an athletic shoe style. They had several great options for me and carried my size (mens 13) in all of them. Im not a runner, but I noticed an entire wall of athletic shoes as well. Topping off the experience was the sales person, who was among the most genuine and pleasant people Ive had the pleasure of interacting with in a long time. She was informative, helpful, and not at all pushy. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable and comparable to other stores carrying similar types of shoes. Theyve earned my business and I will definitely head back when Im in the market for another pair of shoes.

When The Shoe Fits is a gem in our midst. What an amazing experience.My feet have hurt since my 20s, and thats with wearing Queen Mother shoes. Ive spent hundreds of dollars on expensive shoes - many were the same brands sold at When The Shoe Fits. The difference is having a Fit Specialist find the right size. It is not just about the measurements we can see on the slider scale we stand on; now I know it goes way beyond that. I was assisted (saved?) by Bill Holtman, who gulped when he had me stand while observing ankle movement.There were additional steps, which he made look so easy, to find the right fit.I didnt even look around at the inventory; I asked him to get whatever shoes he knew would work for my feet. I was desperate. Ive been to podiatry a time or two, but have never been helped like this. Im now bilingual; I can speak some Shoe-eeze. Ever heard of a met bar? Thats Shoe-eeze for Metatarsal Bar. Bill placed them in some of the shoes I bought.Fit Specialist Allyson Quon is just as helpful and knowledgeable.Our feet are the foundation for the rest of our posture, affecting knees, hips, spine, neck, etc. Its pretty basic. Ive had a lot of back pain for years, and even that is easing. It easier to walk for exercise. The right fit is about health!The right fit is about living the quality of life we all want. And fall prevention.I am so happy with the shoes he chose.What a huge difference.Thank you.

Shame on my for having lived in the Progress Ridge condo for 4 years, and had yet to shop at this store. My maiden visit was yesterday - recd great service from Kim Koll. She was so patient as we tried on multiple styles and sizes, plus worked with my patiently to get the right shoe insert. Great place + awesome selection and superb service. Highly recommend.

Third visit for my husband and I. He works retail, and I am a teacher. Both of us are on our feet all day. Each time we have gone in the service is amazing. The staff understands how feet affect the rest of the body and style vs comfort/support. Excellent quality, service, and experience. This time I bought a pair of brick red Mary Janes that are so adorable!

If you are looking for people who not only know a lot about shoes but also a lot about your feet, this is the place. My wife and I have been buying shoes here for a couple of years now and have been extremely satisfied with the service and selection. They only carry high-quality shoes, and they spend whatever time is necessary to get the right pair for your feet.

Ive been to this store twice now. They happen to be having a great sale at the time and both me and my partner purchased shoes. I went back some time later with my mother and they were having an even better sale. My first experience was definitely better because the salesman working that day was very helpful without trying to put on the sales pressure. The second time the two salesmen working were a little more pushy on the sales which really puts me off from buying. As far as quality of shoes, theyre great and reasonable priced. They also sale SOLE inserts which are awesome.

I havent even came in yet but I had AMAZING customer service from an individual name Bill. He was extremely helpful!Ill update this review after I stop in as well but I dont see it dropping from 5 stars.
