An excellent shop to get affordable furniture! We were shopping here to furnish a 3 bedroom apartment and found everything we needed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We werent expecting help to move the furniture into our uhaul but they helped load it up! Very cool decor items in the shop, too. Id recommend this place to family and friends.

Consigning with The Consignment Gallery wasnt a great experience. The way they price the items shows that they really dont have any idea how much they are worth. I consigned a sterling silver bracelet with a real turquoise stone and they sold it for $6.00. I paid closer to $50 for it. They take 50% of the profits. If your things dont sell and you would like them back, they hold them hostage until you pay the ransom of $2.50 for each item. When they send your profits in the mail by check, they charge an additional $1.50. Know all the facts before you consign because they will eat away at any profits until you owe them money (seriously, I owe them $.50).

I pass this shop all the time but Im usually on the way somewhere, so I never stop. Finally, I stopped in and found some treasure. It was fun looking around at all the furniture. Also, I like that the price tags show the price, then several date where the price will drop a little bit.

The people were very nice and theres a huge selection! Pieces are good and we found exactly what we were looking for. Id be hard pressed to find a solid wood nightstand like these new for under $300.

If you plan to be a consigner here be very sure to thoroughly read the terms in the contract. I made the mistake of not paying close enough attention and it cost me a pretty penny .

This store had a nice display area for consignment jewelry, and it also had a very large selection of quality furniture that sometimes made it difficult to walk around.The pricing system was displayed on a tag that showed a declining price by how long it was on the display floor.

Love this store! We have found a beautiful bed frame for a spare room and many other things. The people that work there are very pleasant and friendly and theirs always something different when you walk in.

My home is more beautiful because I shop at the Consignment Gallery for furniture, decor, and even every day practical things like dishes and glassware!

Since its Sister Shop in Amherst, NH has closed the wife down to this one. We did frequent them both, but alas😉. This store is clean inside with ample parking and cleaned grounds. There are loads of furniture to choose from, to much furniture for my taste, and I would advise that you know your prices before shopping here. On a lot of the newer items for a few dollars more you can buy them new at a regular store with warranty. The older items on consignment, for the most part, are in good to excellent condition, but are usually over priced because everyone thinks because its old and cant be bought in stores anymore that its a one of a kind and priceless. Enjoy your shopping experience here as my wife usually does.

As a furniture veteran recently retired, I can tell you that this is a very well run consignment shop. Top quality brands from back when they actually made real furniture in this country. Love to go and Ive picked up several great buys over the years.

Great place to walk through for ever changing variety of home furnishings. Overall well displayed. Each item tagged with date price will be lowered, and then removed from store. Constantly changing inventory. Generally good, usually better, quality and condition items. Display cases with wide variety of items. Too much to describe here. If one likes others unwanted good items, stop by here. Staff us friendly and helpful. Be patient as it can be busy at times.

Ive been here several times over the years as my best friend and I love to go thrift shopping, but honestly weve taken to cutting this one from the list. Their selection has become odd and pretty limited, including carrying a lot of mattresses for some reason. The women at the front counters are pretty unhelpful and at times even rude, especially when I tried asking about their cash/check only policy. I always carry a checkbook so it wasnt an issue for me, but my best friend doesnt and we got very tersely informed about the closest atm we should find. I think if this is a policy it should be prominently documented before bringing purchases all the way up to the register. Between selection, price, and service this store is a no go in my book.

I have both consigned furniture here and purchased furniture here. The owner and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Both buying and selling have been great experiences. The quality of the offerings are very good and you wont be disappointed.

Clean store, lots of great items. Some a bit pricey for being used. The ladies up front are not nice. I tried to engage in a conversation with three of them. They could have cared less but they sure as heck couldnt shut up between themselves. Will never go back.

I always love shopping here. They will only take products that are in excellent shape. Came here with my dad looking for a couch. We were in and out with a great piece in about 15 minutes.

This consignment store is the BEST. Quality items for sale, reasonably priced. Store is always busy and merchandise moves out very quickly. So, if you see something you love, grab it before its gone.

There is always a revolving selection of high quality furniture and home furnishings here. If you need a new (used) table/chairs/couch, this is a must stop before heading to a furniture store. Prices here are mostly equivalent to lower quality new goods purchased from Bobs or the like, except these are all name brand/unique/ high quality pieces. Cash/check only though, and you have to have the ability to move it yourself. There is an unrelated business in the building though, Get itGone, that will move/assemble pieces from the store, to your home, for a fee.

Prices are higher than I would expect for a used furniture store, though they generally have higher quality than others. I have never received customer support when I had questions, they are either too busy, or cant be found. They dont have a delivery service you can pay for, which is odd as its a furniture store, they give you a business card for someone else that can help.

Bring all my friends to the consignment shop. Lookers become buyers all the timeQuality is great, selection is diverse everytime you go in. Rule of thumb if you like it buy it because it will be gone when you go back.

Sold 2 great Brand winter blazers (wool and purchased at Macys) there. While the original price was $300.00 for both, I ended up collecting $23.00 for both after 60 days in consignment. The shop retain most of the sales money and you are the lucky receiver of almost nothing. Shame on me not to read all the fine details, but please...all you future consignment sellers...be aware!

Ryan owner of consignment gallery is an outstanding businessman and concerned citizen. Ryan deserves recognition for being not only a great businessman, which he has proven to me, but someone who broke his own rules to accommodate someone who has been unfortunate. That someone is me Bob Pedersen. I lost my professional job through no fault of my own. I had a longer delay before returning to work due to age discrimation at some places I applied. I have finally found a great job. Ryan was concerned that I was in a position of hardship. I did not ask for help. Ryan saw I had quality furniture that would sell quickly for a fair price. He advanced me monies to keep afloat as I was struggling. Again, I did not ask for this assistance. Ryan deserves my business for life and anybody that reads this article. Furniture here can be good at times but the owners and people that work there seem to have a bit of an attitude they also have a cash-only policy which is not very customer-friendly they will not help you load or move the furniture after purchase

The longer an item sits, the cheaper it gets. You can find some great deals on used furniture if you come at the right time and keep your eyes open. Cash or check only.

A lot of high-end items to find

I recently visited the Consignment Gallery in Bedford, NH. I had a rather unpleasant experience. I have made a number of purchases over the past two years and although I have found interesting items I always left with the feeling they thought they just did me a favor. The staff at best convey an elitest unhelpful attitude. Today, I realized I should have trusted my gut. By accident, I knocked over a $14 item that probably should not have been on a glass countertop if it was in fact so delicate. The saleswoman was clearly putout and immediately said, you are paying for it. Never asking are you okay? Did you cut yourself? I had a number of items at the counter which I intended to purchase. When I went to pay for the items the manager automatically added the broken item to my tab. I said look it was an accident. If it was so fragile it should have been in a case. He flatly retorted the consigner needs to get paid. I paid for the broken item which they pocketed $7. I will never return to this establishment. It is clear the employees lack baseline customer service and are extremely short sighted. Enter at your own peril. Three thumbs down!(Responding to Owners Response)First off I am a responsible adult who handles items with care and as you said accidents do happen. That said there is no excuse for the lack of customer service demonstrated by your staff nor do you acknowledge there is room for improvement on that front. As for the staff who did not know, he has worked there for sometime. I believe he is fully aware of your policy. And, his dogs roaming the store freely is very disconcerting. As for the consigned piece I would have been more receptive to paying the portion that the consigner would have received. The fact that your policy was not known by your staff further suggests your staff is lacking the very basic skills necessary to run a successful establishment over the long term. Nor does it appear to be of concern to you that you lost a long term customer. For me to take the time to write a post is because I have not been so offended in a very long time. I think the amount of money I have spent in your establishment would have more than covered the $7. You are only responding because your staff essentially took money not owed you. I would suggest you put up signs warning your future customers if this is in fact your policy.
