Bought some ammunition (22lr). 800 rds. for $94 taxes included. I think its a good price for the current times. Took about 10 minutes to get checked out. Not bad.

Went in to buy some workbooks for my son. Found some decently priced. We ended up purchasing them. My disabled son needed to use the restroom. They dont have any for customers. So sad.

So happy, they were closing in 5 minutes and they helped me get all that I needed right on time.

They had a decent selection of items I got my work boots from here for a fair price they didnt have a lot of Dickies selection though

Ask for Mark if you go here for shoes. The guy is a Shoe Guru! Helped me pick out 2 pairs. I would have just picked out whatever looked appealing. But he was kind enough to point out certain factors on the shoes that went well with the type of work I do and the long distance running that I have recently taken on! Came out of there very satisfied with my 2 purchases!

The price was better on Walmart but they never came to open the Locked cabinet

On 4/2/21 @6pm. Me and my 9yr old son went went in to buy his baseball gear. Upon check out the 2 girls at the register were talking bad about another customer who just left . Not cool. At least wait until theres no one in line ......

While there were fair selections and pricing, I did not enjoy being a victim of SWB (Shopping While Black). I was followed everywhere I went while in this particular store. I purchased the items I came for and left. I wont shop there again and advise other African-Americans to avoid this place.

If you want ANY fishing supplies do not waste your time here. I understand the whole covid thing but this store was doing bad before covid now its just plain worse. Too bad Big 5 was my go too for many years.

Bell Gardens Big 5 has to be one of the few sporting goods compared to others in this area. 1. Any or more often 2 employees are willing to stop what there doing and help with the items you are looking for or will try to acquire what your looking for. 2. Communication between workers is very impressive due to each one willing to help each other out. 3. Finally on a personal note I had an item that was at another store and this manager was willing to pick the item up for me since as he said I live close bye Ill pick it up for you. WOW!!! Good crew good employees and great Managment. Promote Now.

Rude customer service

I have been coming here for years. First as a kid with my uncle and then when I started doing outdoor things on my own and with friends. I always find what Im looking for and as an e-mail recipient i get coupons and great deal notifications as well. If its hunting, sport or general outdoor activities, they always have it for me.

Loved how the staff was helping me out the entire time I was in there, they also took their time to point me out where was each thing I needed!

Its my favorite sports gear place to go too, very convenient always have good quality gear. Though the staff could be a lil more friendly some wont even cross a word with you theyll rather run you over w/o excusing them selves or greeting at all.

Great place to buy sporting equipment, however for work out equipment Ive experienced some of the prices are high. For example I went in to buy some dumbbells and found they too much for what it was, ended up buying the weights at Walmart b/c they were cheaper.

This Big 5 is in a great location . I love this area . My 3 isnt for this . Its for this . Open up the BATHR(😠)(😠)M, so that CUSTOMERS can use the BATHR(😠(😠)M . We are in the 2000s . Mike and Adrian the assist. mgr., and the store mgr. Deneatte need to acquire better people skills . Christian the cashier can pick up her energy and be better and others . The workers who are G(😀)(😀)D and I prefer to deal with are Chrystal and assist. mgr., Walton .

Not bad for the neighborhood sporting goods store, in regards to prices and service. Ive had excellent customer service experiences and Ive had rude and/or bad experiences. Like today, I went there first, but I had to go somewhere else to buy my kids their skateboard helmets. Wal-Mart wins again...
