Ive been coming here for over a decade now. Even though the owners changed, I took my car in and it looks and feels like its brand new. I came in needing new tires, so they ordered them and they came right away. The mechanic put them on and I didnt have to wait long. The staff was very professional and honest with my pricing. I went back a couple of days later after they installed a new alignment rack to have my car aligned. They walked me through the steps of why my car needed an alignment, which was very helpful. They have a great price for an oil change so I had that done as well when I came back. All in all I am extremely happy I stopped here. I am making this my go to repair shop. They treat you like family not just another face.

Please do yourself a favor and dont go there. They highballed me on the price for the work but I was recommended the place so I gave them a try. Then they performed work I was not notified about until after the fact. They made it seem cool because they did not raise the price estimate. But again, the prices were high already, so something tells me they intended to do all this other work. The thing is, they didnt communicate of their own accord. I had to question them about it. So far I believe the work was good but this practice is somewhat unethical and they did not seem to notice.

A little higher price than your pep boys and such but the generally remember your vehicle..they did have a guy, Serg, working there that was awesome enough that I kind of wanted to hang out but I guess he left for a different shop.

They are working with me on a complete motor let you know how it works out I know there work is excellent but it took a month and $6000 $3000 in labor and the transmission was fine going in got it back with a trans that shifts bad and dash light on would not recommend this place now

Our car was towed here as a AAA recommended shop. We didn’t end up going with their service because our car is older and in our opinion, not worth the investment of top of the line parts.But, I had such a pleasant experience working with everyone here that I had to leave a review. I worked with Jasper, Monica and I believe Mark. Everyone was friendly, professional and patient. Even after deciding not to use their services, I didn’t get any pressure or a hard sell.Definitely recommend for high quality service.

This was my first time going to Leo and son found them on Yelp. I was at a point that I needed to find someone closer to home that I could trust because my regular mechanic is to far. It worked out great AAA recommended them so that helped me with my decision.I was helped by Mark and he is awesome. Everyone I spoke to was always happy and nice. What I like us they are up to date with technology meaning I work in environment where I cant always be by my phone so whenever there was an update they would text me and give me a status. They also had a checkin discount on Yelp which was great.I happy with my service and I now have a new mechanic that I will be going to for now on.

From a phone call inquiring about smog certificate inspections to returning home a couple hours later with certificate in hand couldnt have been a more gratifying experience. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and attentive to their customers needs. Their waiting area was beyond anything Ive ever seen at an auto repair facility with complimentary drinks and snacks and several TV monitors. I do believe I have found my forever mechanics. I cannot tell you how helpful the staff at Leo and Son Garage was. After trying to have my brake/light inspection and smog done on my RV at 4 other places, they came through! It was very fairly priced and the service was fantastic. During my service I was offered snacks, drinks and a comfortable, cool and quiet lounge room. The staff told me of local places to grab a bite to eat while I waited. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would! I will be coming back even though it is a far drive for me.

Automotive repair shop on corner of Virginia and Bellflower Blvd. Small area for parking but the folks are all super nice and very helpful. They have nice clean restrooms, air conditioned waiting room and a nice area for the kids to play. They can color, draw, play board games, watch cartoons, play with Lego or baby dolls. You are welcome to several free hot and cold refreshments. They also have instant cereal or cold cereal, toast and bagels. There are snack bars, chips, cookies and fruit available. There are also M&Ms and Jelly Belly jelly beans. They have very comfortable seating if you have to wait. They keep you informed on how the work is going on your car and make recommendations but will also tell you want is necessary and what can wait. Very pleased with the service and work done on my Jeep. My nephew has been here before and he recommended them. I would also recommend them to anyone looking to have work or repairs done also.

I had such a great experience with these guys. They knew I was from out of state and offered to pay for a rental so I could continue my vacation! The most amazing professionals out here and made my family and son feel right at home here!

I was very pleased to find this establishment at the last minute right before the holiday. They were thorough and very helpful. The prices were fair and I never felt they were trying to over sell me. They took good care of me and made sure my car was ready for a road trip the next day. I will definitely be back for my future car needs! I loved my experience there and I would recommend it to everyone needing auto assistance. We walked in and everyone was so welcoming! A guy named Mike helped me out so if you go there I would ask for him. I am young so I had never dealt with fixing a car and I was worried they would take advantage of that and hike up the prices but they gave me an amazing price for four new tires and were so kind in helping me figure out the process. They didn’t have the tries on site but they were super speedy in getting them which I really appreciated. They also had a wonderful lounge to wait in while they got the work done. It had snacks, coffee, and a place for kids to draw or do puzzles. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I am very satisfied with the service I received.

Have to buy there parts font think that far I already had parts and was trying to charge me parts and labor

I previously came here for a smog check and had a good experience, so I figured Id return once I had a more serious issue. I made an appointment for 1 PM on Tuesday to have them look at why my airbag light was on, they told me it would be $150 in labor just to check the issue. At around 4 PM, I got a call saying that they needed more time on the car and needed to access the stirring column to figure out the problem. They said that theyd have an answer by tomorrow late afternoon. I wake up on Wednesday to a text and missed call around 9 AM. The text links to a report that explains the problem. I call them back and they tell me that the problem is with the clock spring, and that they need to order the part for the repair and that the part costs around $800 and that my total cost for the repair would be $1167.22. I ask if I can provide my own parts and they said they cant and have to order them directly from the dealership to guarantee their warranty. I decline the repair as its just too much for me right now. I look up the part number on Toyotas website and see that the MSRP for the part is $397 from Toyota directly, and third-party dealers are selling the same part for around $298. So already I feel uneasy knowing the fact that they doubled the price for the part. When I get to the shop, I ask them if they can print me out the report that lists out what they did, Mark asks me why, and I explain that I didnt get the report from them until this morning. He asks what are you trying to get? and I explain that Im not trying to get anything and that Im just trying to be thorough because I dropped the car off at 1 PM and was charged for more labor, because they still didnt know what was wrong at 4 PM, so I wanted to know what exactly they did from 1 PM until 4 PM. He claims they sent it yesterday when he called me at 4 PM. I check my phone and confirm I didnt receive anything. He then says that my phone number on their system was listed as home and that he corrected it this morning which is why I didnt get it until then, but reassures me that the work was done yesterday. I ask him if the report has timestamps that show when the report was entered into the system and he says no and checks with someone to confirm. He comes back and explains how he did tell me on the phone at 4 PM yesterday that they had the code at that point. I disagree but didnt want to push it. I pay for the cost of labor and he prints me out a copy of my paid invoice. After leaving I check the copy and realize its not even my information. He printed out the paid invoice of a different car and customer. I bring it back in and he shreds the paper and prints me out my copy. Overall, this entire process felt sketchy from beginning to end.

1st time there for smog check, no problem2nd time front breaks, no problem. March 2019 I did pay a close to $600 dollars but that also included a synthetic oil change. I know that a little steep but all well.3rd time went in to get an estimate for my rear breaks Mr. J Martini told me point blank. We are not the cheapest in town so if you want to save some money go somewhere else with an attitude. So I leftI got the rear breaks done somewhere at a reasonable price.4th time I came back to have them check my front breaks because the steering wheel shakes when you break and they gave me a three year warranty and I got them done in March 2019 . Dropped off the vehicle at 830 am. 4 pm same day havent heard a word. I called and Monica said I will have J martini call you in 5 to 10 min. 20 minutes later no call. So I called them again I told Monica I needed to speak to someone that knows whats going on so she puts Gabriel (is the mechanic) on the phone and explains to me that they will replace the rotors under the warranty, that is great but it doesnt take 8 hrs for someone to tell me that. Vehicle stayed over night picked it up the next morningGabriel said that there were hot spots that it was an indication of riding the breaks or something of that nature and that they would not warranty them again. What is this guy, a breaks scientists?No need to worry I WILL NEVER return here even though AAA recommended.Gabriel the tech has better customer service skills than the Monica and J Martini.Very frustrating experience.

This is my second time there I wish they can go back to open on weekends I’d been trying to get some work done, I don’t know if they have new crew members but the girl was really nice she went I don’t know where to warm up my oatmeal, thank you I forgot to ask for her name, the guy that helped me was not too friendly I asked if he could give me a print out of the things I need to take care of my car and he just gave me my receipt with a few details not like the first time the guy gave me a print out of everything part of my car including tires, not this guy but a well we are not perfect, we’re just humans

Excellent service and care for our vehicles. Fair, honest and dependable and a very good value. You might be able to find a less expensive mechanic out but the peace of mind knowing our vehicles are safe is well worth the extra expense for us. And, if it means anything to you (and it should), my wife feels very comfortable there and has never been made to feel talked down to or disrespected.

Awesome place! Free refreshments! Comfy seating even a place for small kids to stay busy. I was very impressed with customer service and free Lyft service to customers within 5 mile radius drop off at home and pick up service. Also rental car service if needed. Found a new honest mechanic. Hopefully stays like that that will definitely recommend

Leos Garage personnel were professional, honest and expeditious. I was happy with the service and the cost. My only discontent was that they dont except personal checks which causes me to pay an additional interest charge on my credit card.Other than that my vehicle appears to be back to normal.

I’ve been going there for my last two smog checks. I make an appointment, they take the care right away and in just a few minutes they’re done! While you wait their waiting room is very comfortable with complimentary coffee, soft drinks and snacks and TV. A great experience overall. I would highly recommend them for a trusted smog check anytime!

The service advisors Mike and Jasper work work well together and provide excellent explanations! The documentation is more thorough than the dealerships service staff. For instance, the Leo & Son service staff take pictures of all problems when doing a complete evaluation of your vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone!!!

I had been looking awhile for a garage that has professional, nice people to do great work on my car. My step-father ran a garage where Im from and I never had to worry about the work or being taken advantage of. I was relieved to finally find Leo and Son-they do the same high quality work with good quality parts. It costs a little more than some of the other, lower quality shops, but they are well worth it.There is even a really nice customer lounge-Ive never seen anything like it as a waiting room! Bonus points, for sure!

My diesel Sprinter RV had a broken glow plug that was in the worst place (pass side in the back). Don the mechanic managed to extract it w/o screwing up the head. At the same time they replaced the rest of the glow plugs and a taillight. Thanks for the extra effort. You made a customer for life.

I found a good price on a used car at a nearby dealership. The car was priced right, but had been sitting on the lot a long time. The dealership didnt have the best Google reviews, but Leo & Son did. I used them for a pre-purchase inspection on the vehicle, and they did such a thorough and excellent job. Their report back to me included detailed explanations and photos, as well as a phone call of course. You can tell they are a company that is forward thinking and knows how to use the latest technology to improve service. They also were able to fit me in same day I called (I got lucky I suppose). $150 well spent, and I was able to confidently purchase the car based on their inspection report.

Just wow. From intake to communicating during work to handoff reports when picking up, these guys are head and shoulders above the rest, and boy do they know their stuff. Their whole communication system is modernized so you can opt to text with their front desk. They even provide numerical measurements to support what they tell you. Only downside is finding a place to park in their lot, but when youre this good its no surprise youd be full to capacity. Color me VERY impressed.

Went here yesterday to have my brakes checked. They have me pay $44 just for them to tell me that there is something wrong with the brakes. I knew that already! that there is something wrong with the brakes. That’s why I brought my truck here. On top of that they want me to pay another $600 just to take the wheels apart to see what the problem is. Fixing it would be another fee. They even gave me an attitude when I left.

Upon my first encounter with the staff I found that they were very friendly, seemed happy to help and were very busy which is always good in a business such as this. The customer service was great they were very helpful in letting me know what exactly was going to happen to my car and how long it was going to take. And of course when waiting for dreaded car maintenance waiting lounges are always nice to have, Leo and sons waiting lounge is unlike any other I have ever seen they have comfortable seating and complimentary snacks and coffee which is always a plus in my book. The prices for maintenance were good and were backed by a wonderful warranty. Overall I was very happy with this experience, I would definitely recommend to at least visit the shop if you need anything checked to see if it meets your needs.

This auto repair has been around for over 65 years in the area. In the era of large franchise auto repairs, Leo and Son has managed to have survived in a tough, competitive environment.I took my car in for fuel injection service on the 18th of January of 2016 around opening time. The service consultant who wrote up my order is very knowledgeable about cars, no salesman tactics where pulled on me at all whatsoever. This auto repair uses top quality parts as well as lubricants. Highly recommend this auto repair, its family owned, independent and will never be taken over by box auto service.

My husband found this garage somehow and was always pleased. Finally I started coming too and now my car is completely in their hands. I trust them implicitly and that means I dont go anywhere else, they do whats needed, my car is in perfect shape and its an 01 Lexus ES. I live in Seal Beach which is not a handy drive to the shop but I know its well worth the drive!!

I called to see if they worked on my car model and would be able to fix my broken power window. The receptionist was very courteous and friendly and I was able to take my car in the next day and have it ready in a few hours. Im going to take my car again when it needs to be serviced.

They are a great group. They went over everything that could be wrong and kept me informed as they were working on it. They knew I needed the vehicle that day and did the work so it was possible for me to take it. The mechanic that worked on it went over what was wrong and told me what to watch for and if I felt at all uncomfortable with anything to bring it back. The DMV sent me to Leo and Sons for two tests in order to take my car out of unsalvaged.The first time was to have my brakes and lights checked which they passed. This second time they tested the airbag system. It too passed.Now all I have to do is get the DMV to resalvage my car.

I have been going to Leos and Son for the past 2 years. I have recommend this shop to a few of my friend and they too use Leo and Sons. Dave and Don and crew are on top of their game. My wife needed a oil change she called Dave and he let her know if she could get to the shop by 4 pm they would get her in and get the job done. They do a great job on all my SUV and truck and motorhome.

Customer service was great and was going to come back for a re-inspection. I did repairs elsewhere and was very disappointed to hear the problem was something completely different and what I was told was false. The reason I came to this shop was because of the family history and we are always looking to support local businesses. I suggest to the shop to read the bad reviews, find the problem, and fix it. It would be a shame for a shop with great history to end this way. One rotten apple spoils the barrel.

I liked the personal attention, quick service, and cleanliness. I wasn’t thrilled with the service consultant that worked with me. He always had me wait around for a while and seemed to preoccupied with his phone calls.

CAUTION: The advertisement on their website is misleading. Their brake and light inspection isnt $50 as advertised. Its $50 for the brake inspection, AND $50 for the light inspection, plus taxes and cert. Extremely deceptive. Given that everyone, DMV included, calls it a brake and lamp inspection or brake and lamp adjustment. No one calls it brake inspection and lamp inspection. Way more expensive than most other places. Plus they claim it takes 2-3 hours.Try BRAKE AND LAMP inspection/ Jungs Auto Repair down the street. Super cool owner, honest up front prices (almost half what this place charges) and theyll have you in and out in under 30 minutes.

Though their policy is to charge for diagnostics which I agreed to, they didn’t charge me because they couldn’t duplicate the problem. That’s smart business! They have my loyalty!

We had our car smog tested and would reccomend Leo and Son for their professional services to anyone, they even brought to our attention that some gaskets were leaking and offered their services to fix as well. Nice people, obvious cause they like your $$, I went there for a brake n light inspection 106? If you fail no second chance unless you pay 106$, parts 2 to 4 Times more than other places, I was going to be charge 214$ I paid for third brake light 52$, so I wasted my $ besides they broke the tabs on my civic covers, bad experience for me. Check your prices, I paid 60$ for same job, btw that part was good, when I got my car back, I checked it, n it was good...

Dave helped me and was very professional and accommodating with me. I would definitely recommend taking your car here for any work needed.

Good service but waaay over priced.I was being charged $900.almost $1,000.00 to have my radiator changed.Really? I paid $400.00,and yes it was an original GM Radiator.
