First time and last. Very kind but overcharged. $300 to check the ASB and diagnosis a suspension noise. Could not reproduce the ASB issue and found a broken sub frame. Sure I owe them but $300 is way too much in my view. Great place if you want to pay premium.

I was fortunate in not having to drive the the vehicle I brought in everyday, so I could leave it with RayAMotive for an extended period of time. I had a difficult issue with my engine that I couldnt fix after a lot of work and effort, so I brought it to Ray. They had worked on it a year ago, and with some time the problem was found. Part of the corrective work that was done involved a previous part that was installed a year earlier, and they replaced that part at no charge! Runs great now at 100,000 miles and I am hoping to get that much more from the engine!

Ray-A-Motive is a exceptional team of personable individuals who are customer service oriented, fair, and gets the job done. The mechanics are well seasoned in their trade, and are knowledgeable on a wide variety of years, makes, and models. A lot of shadey mechanic shops out there- this is definitely not one of them. Reliable transportation is maintained by reliable mechanics. Do yourself a favor and take it to Ray-A-Motive, a place you can trust.

Kind of pricey but they know what their doing would recommend them anyone having trouble with the airbag light on. In the very accommodating especially when I am really busy I would recommend anyone.

Good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good so if you want your vehicle done right the first time bring it here. Oliver is very helpful and knowledgeable I’ve brought my 62 Chevy Impala here for some repairs and each time they did a great job so I’d recommend them to anybody looking for a really good repair shop.

Awesome service, This is the only place that can perform a perfect alignment on my truck. I have been to many many places to align my tires on my 2011 tundra. Places that include firestone, just tires, all star tires, and many more. Rays shop has the hospitality of a close neighbor or family friends house! Highly recommend. The extra price I pay becomes an investment to my vehicles because of the one and done theory. The job is always completed the first time I drop off my vehicle! The only thing I absolutely hate is that rays shop is only open from Monday- Friday. Really would love to visit these guys on the weekends, as for I work during the week and it’s hard to make it over before they close.

This was a pleasant experience. The shop is spotless. Tony and Kevin are friendly and professional and give you a sense of trust that is hard to find when looking for automotive repair. The repairs were done on time and at the price that was reasonable. I am completely satisfied.

Had problems getting my 2001 Chevy S10 smogged. Took it to Ray Automotive and they not only were able to pass it on the smog test but alsochecked for all the reasons it did not pass. They are a bit pricey but well worth it.

Staff is always nice and the prices are reasonable. Its hard finding mechanics who are confident in working with classic vehicles and they do an excellent job on helping me maintain my 72 Chevy C10. Highly recommend.

Oliver in the front desk, is the best, because he goes out of his way to take care of the problem even when I dont know what the problem is. Its an honest shop, they wont rip you off. Ive never had a problem. All of the mechanics that Ive dealt with have been really friendly and more than happy to explain things to me. They stand behind their work, and put the customers needs first.

I’ve been coming to Ray since we moved to Bellflower. Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Service is warrantied for 24 months which makes me feel good. All work is reported to car fax also which is nice.

One of the best places Ive ever been for auto repair, its a big place as they also specialize in trucks and RVs. If you have an engine problem thats difficult to diagnose or find then this is the place to bring your auto to, was surprised that I didnt need an appointment to get my vehicle looked at the very next morning.The place is also a modern and clean facilities with a nice waiting room, with wifi, outlets, coffee and complimentary snacks which says alot about the rest of the place and friendly professional personnel.Surrounding area seemed safe / no high crime area. If your going to step out for lunch, be sure to ask Where is the Jack In The Box that is very near there but hidden from view for a budget quick meal.was surprised that it is not a AAA facility, the service I got was AAA like. type.

The guy who used to do repairs on my car moved away, so I had to find a new place. I went to several other shops, but was unsatisfied with the quality of work they did. Finally, I went to Ray-a-motive and wont go anywhere else. Everyone there is honest and they do great work.

Ive had my toyota serviced here once or twice with good service but I had them check out a 1998 town n country mini van that i inherited to see what it needed. I knew it could use belt, rear shocks and front struts, i told them about a small oil leak and indicator lights on dash (ABS and A/C). about 5 hours and we talk about work that they recommend. At a quote that was almost twice as much as the van was worth i just had them put on new belt and that was it. Picked it up and noticed no tach or speedo??? Indicator lights still on with no reason as to why. They didnt look at oil leak, couldnt even air up 2 low tires. Now i know they put it on a rack cuz when i inspected the undercarriage a 2x4 was stuck to the body. Turns out the oil psi sending is leaking. Sorry Ray a motive i will not be coming back for any future repairs.

This place is a sham- took my toy hauler in with a brake problem. Told them I that I thought the electrical was good, but the brakes were not grabbing properly. I told them I was looking to get out that day, and even said there would be a little extra in the repair for them if they could get me on the road that day. They called me shortly after and said all the brakes were showing grease inside the drums, really all four.... They then said they would need to replace all the drums backer plates etc. for a price of $2100.00. I told them no thanks now the facts.... Now that the trip was canceled I took the trailer home and pulled the drums myself (they assumed I was not mechanical)- there was grease in one drum, the rest were dry as a bone. Lastly I called a local RV repair place that was my first choice (too busy to get me in that day) and they told me that even if all drums needed to be replaced it would be no more than $700.00 max. So please stay away from these guys unless overpaying for unneeded work is your cup of tea. Ohh and I had t pay them $106.00 just to get the trailer back, they had my truck so what to do.As a follow up since I dont have the room to do the repairs myself, I took the trailer to Deluxe RV, professional and courteous, with a total bill of $220.00. Breaks work great. Also as an aside, if you look at Rays response on yelp he indicates part of my complaint was in regards to not getting the repairs done that day. My bad experience has nothing to do with that issue, it was just a request if possible (and I realized probably wishful thinking) . Here is the bottom line $2100.00 at Rays and 220.00 at Deluxe RV. You decide.

Let me tell you about this shop!! the best is what i can say, some years back i bought a brand new Toyota Camry and for the life of me i couldnt get the car to drive straight so i took it back to the dealership where i bought it and they re-did the front alignment, in fact over the next three weeks i took it back again to deal with the same issues and they could never solve the problem, new car you think it would drive straight down the road..so i brought my car to Ray-A-Motive and s/w Ray, he took it for a test drive came back to the shop and told me sometimes the alignment can be corrected by resetting the strut,( meaning-loosening the strut bolts and re-positioning the strut, that was back in 2006 so to this day the car still drive just the way it should, Now with this last repair i had, the same results, my 2006 Chrysler pacifica broke down, had a could of people look at it sense it was just sitting at my work and was told it needed a complete engine, sounded pretty correct, well if that was the case i was going to have Ray-A-Motive do the work, towed car there and quickly Ray called me back and told me that i didnt need and engine rather a couple of parts broke on the top end-- saving me about $3000.00 right off the bat, got car back and runs just like when i first purchased it.. thanks Ray-A-Motive you have my car care needs for life..Nice to not have to worry whether the repairs wear done correctly... oh hey Great people!!!

These guys are honest, and the service here is great. They are very by the books which makes them expensive compared to smaller places that may use more creative methods to fix your car, but you can be assured that if its repaired here it will be done right.

So helpful when my car got broken into! They even cleaned up my car when all they needed to do was get the broken key out of my ignition! Above and beyond customer service and I will definitely be back!

I had never used Ray-A-Motive before, but after my 1988 Toyota truck failed its first smog check ever, they were the closest smog check repair station to my home. During the check, they found that my truck had been vandalized. BBs in the gas lines and razor cuts to vacuum hoses. Due to health issues my truck had been sitting out in the desert for 5 months as well. The carbureator had to be rebuilt, and the catalytic converter had failed, so it too needed replacement. To make a longer story shorter, when I got the truck back, it was running like brand new. Well done Ray-A-Motive and thank you. I will recommend you over and over!!

I believe in recomending good places and people. Ray-a-motive is both. They found the solutions to my car problems that several others couldnt . My 1995 Mercedes had an engine light on that even after repairs were made the problem still existed with other repair shops encluding Mercedes specialist. Ray got the job done .
