Decent selection of air max. Wish the Jordans had more options.
So I was second in line for the jordan retro 4s at champs sports bellingham. I was there on July 4th because they had unsold shoes from previous days reservation drop. Anyways this my first time doing this. The first guy the opened the store looked at me and rest of the line like we were unsavory...didnt want to talk or acknowledge us. Finally when store opened at noon we qd up orderly in store while a line of champs sports employees stared at us like we were convicts in a firing line...they would ask us what size we were and not what size we were looking for...I was there for either me 12/13 or my girl 6/7...at first they told me no size 13 then all of a sudden they had size 13...it was alot of talking in ear pieces and being very secretive...I felt like they didnt want me there buying the shoes...or spending $200 on unsold merchandise people chose not to pick up the day prior...only good part of this experience was my checkout guy malcolm...guy was nice..smiled...helpful..congrats on my shoes...I asked him why the store was acting like an interment camp..he was like some employees trying to weed out the re sellers...bleh...champs your product gets sold...dont harass your customers over what they do with the sneaker after...I can display my sneaker (which I do) wear my sneaker (which I do) or even burn my sneakers(which I dont but is my right to property I own if I want to) America is capitalism. Nike reselling to champs is capitalism. If buyers want to resell their shoes thats capitalism. anyways I got the sneakers...Malcom was great but store vibe left a very bad taste in my mouth. Mixed experience. Not sure this normal for sneakers as I do mine online
Definitely if your into sportswear then this is the store for you.
Staff is great, place is clean, but its kind of a waste of time going in since the selection is so horrible right now. Its a miracle if we ever find our sizes and were always encouraged to go online anyway
Loved its bought like 3pairs of shoes the people where super nice and fast
Most of the time this is were I get my shoes, shirts..
The help was excellent! But the shoes were not. When I got home the one shoe looked like itd been worn.. I gave 4 stars since its not necessarily their fault, but maybe they oughta have some policy that keeps from selling used & abused shoes. Ill find the pic, hopefully.
Wow I would usually give champs 5 stars but Irene is the rudest and most unwelcoming person I’ve ever met working retail. Not only was I in disbelief but I could see others were as well. When leaving the store a woman came up too me who also was shopping at champs and we discussed how poor our experience was. Won’t be coming back.
This store has one of the best customer service I have ever had. The store manger was nothing but helpful. I love coming into this store, always welcomed/greeted when I walk in by the staff. They arent pushy but they show you their product. It was a great experience!
Great selection of shoes! However, I was ignored by two employees who couldnt be bothered to stop their personal conversation to help me. Mind you, there were no other customers in the store other than myself. After a few minutes I had my eye on a pair of LeBrons ($185) but still hadnt been helped. I left without making a purchase.
Good service a bite expensive
My mall experience with Champs is fine. Its my online experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered two pairs of joggers from Champs online. The orders were fulfilled by two separate Champ stores and shipped to me. When I received my package I realized they had sent me the wrong item. So I contacted Champs customer service. I was informed that since the orders were fulfilled by Champ stores and not a warehouse that she would be unable to send me a replacement order. She said I would have to revisit Champs website and place another order...and what? Place another order and hope they send me the right item this time? Yeah, right. Totally unprofessional! Ill never place another online order with this company again!
Very helpful service and a huge selection. Leans toward court sports and style.
The manager was super friendly and helpful, working to make the customer (me) happy
The staff was super helpful and friendly about answering my questions. Also helped me pick out a pair of shoes for my 3-year-old son.
The staff helped me find shoes that fit the occasion for which I needed them. They even gave me recommendations. It was very helpful. A little spendy, but helpful.
Very cool kids running the store. The owners would be proud to have been me that day we bought hoodies.
Meh
Got my shoes fast b4 new year thanks
Friendly service with a great selection of shoes. Unfortunately my son didn’t find his shoe size.
Lot of things to choose from. Friendly personal
Limited REAL basketball shoe options. Too many people hanging out, looking but not buying.
Decent selection of runners and clothing but sales staff seem quite disinterested.
Was told to enter a launch for a new pair of Jordan’s, reason being “we only carry 2 per size”... then I went to finishline and ordered a pair off online! No wait, no hastle
Nice kicks, friendly staff.
Not the best shoe selection but the nicest staff ever, in there for a good 20 min just talking to them about shoes.
Good price lot of selection in shoes .
