Lovely spot. Right on the corner of Dupont and F street, lettered Streets is the epitome of a small local quality cafe that just does it right. Theres some bar seating in the main room where you order, and the entire second room is dedicated to tables and chairs for sipping, eating, and whatever work or pleasure you have on hand. The walls generally have a selection of prints by local artists and theres a little stand beside the ordering counter with some non-coffee merchandise as well. Hours are 8-3 daily, and thats my only complaint- that theyre not open more. Will be coming back on a consistent basis. Really like this spot.
Paid $11 for a delicious latte towards the end of the day that was so fresh and hot (couldn’t have asked for anything better), as well as an egg sandwich with bacon jam. I feel like the lettered streets coffeehouse is one of the only places in town that utilizes the dream of a condiment that is bacon jam.You are able to dine in at tables that are separated and cleaned in between clients.Just a great place to get a delicious coffee, and a tasty quick bite.
Super great local coffee shop. Really nice staff, good coffee and the breakfast sandwiches are really good. Great place to sit and watch the world, read a book, or work on a laptop.
This is a sweet spot for coffee and chilling. It has its own character and the service was very friendly. I am super picky when it comes to coffee and the latte was ok. I tried an interesting item from the menu with cashew butter and corn chutney and I liked its sweet and spicy flavor. Crafts for sale on the wall added an artsy touch to the atmosphere.
Really great cortado and nice baristas!! super cute building too
Nice coffeehouse. Good atmosphere, nice sitting area
Paid over $8.00 for very bitter (old?) coffee that I couldnt finish, and a muffin that was dry. The place is cute and relaxed, and the staff is friendly. But, I wont be going back.
Great coffee and great staff
Sweet place, love the vibe
:). Got proper energy, thank you for the coffee!
Great little coffee house! Terrible terrible parking. They only have 2 spaces! I parked illegally in the James Tilden Pickett parking lot to go to Lettered Coffee. Love the idea and the cozy ness of the coffee shop but if you can’t park how do you go to it?
Small town coffee shop with great vibes. Staff is generally friendly and the coffee is the best in town.
Damn good coffee
Small neighborhood coffee joint. Super cute with amazing coffee. Its a great place to relax over a latte on a Saturday morning. The staff is super nice!
Friendly staff and quick service. They prefer cash, will charge 30c for credit card transactions.A handful of spots right on the side of the building for 10 minute parking. Very quaint atmosphere.
Good coffee, but not hot enough! A bit loud for my liking. Have to go outside to the bathroom. Ambiance inside is quite pleasant.
Cute coffeeshop, lovely staff, cold brew is fine but mine was a bit acrid and watery. Will try again
A wonderful little place to get coffee and socialize. Their parking is a pain so if you can walk or bike there, that works best. They have some great coffee and the servers are always very nice. They cost more than most places in town but I hear they take good care of their employees.
I will come here always, even if Im just driving by, because their staff is excellent and the atmosphere is homey but mostly because their espresso work is fantastic. A great place to get work done or pop in and out of.
This is one of those little places that is charming and has great personality lacking in the larger chain coffee shops. The staff is friendly and very helpful. And, the drinks and snacks are yummy. This is a great place to simply go and relax and have a cup of coffee, read a book or meet a friend.
A really nice little shop. They had great non-coffee options and even a vegan pastry option. Staff is friendly and helpful. Were definitely going to make this our go-to coffee shop now!
My neighborhood coffee house - a friendly, cozy, all ages place. A couple outdoor tables during the summer. Two short term 10 minute parking spaces to the right of the building if you are in your car and just want to run in and get a latte to go. No dogs allowed inside but you can tie Fido on the porch and sit where he can watch you.
I love this place. The drinks are tasty, the staff is great, and the ambiance is my favorite in town. Great local art on the walls and a great place to work by myself or meet with a friend.
Located in a very old building, it has a unique, very comfortable ambiance. The coffee drinks are excellent, prepared with care. Its nice to get a window seat and watch the world go by. Friendly staff. Wish it was closer to my neighborhood -- if it were, Id be here all the time!
This coffee shop is built inside a really old building giving it a unique vibe to it. I stopped here once and was very pleased. Only down side is that they only have 15 minute parking.
Great neighborhood coffee shop. This place feels great,so warm, cosy and comfortable. I think the biggest challenges for this place are maybe people get too comfortable and stay too long? Just saying not really a problem unless new patrons couldnt get a seat... The only real thing is parking watch the bike lanes, they arent playing.
How friggin cute is this place? As good as it gets.Great coffee (the chocolatte was phenomenal), great service, great environment, great place to work. What else can one ask for?
Friendly at home atmosphere, and amazing coffee - not too sweet, not too bitter, and always mixed just right. I frequently visit this coffee shop to get a cup of coffee to sit and enjoy in-house. There are no qualms about coming here to grab a coffee and working on your laptop or paperwork, and there is adequate seating between the two rooms. Has a selection of 3-5 kinds of locally roasted beans at any one time, as well as local chai and fresh snack foods. Good stuff.
So far every drink I ordered I was completely happy with, they have built a very good reputation with me and others around me. Beautiful and tasteful cups of coffee. Art that you can taste.
I rarely rate poorly but I was not impressed all that much. The building caught my eye as its old and reclaimed...really nice. One could envision writing a novel there. But I found the staff quite unfriendly and the coffee more on the acidic and bitter side. That said, I love a good dark roast and so it may just be my palate and not as much the coffee. I wont go back.
Coffee is good.. They have a huge goldfish in a 5 gallon tank. That is so mean though. Please give Carl a better tank. :(
Nice place to hang out for morning coffee or afternoon smoothies great friendly staff
Top spot: Remember when coffee shops were cool neighborhood hang outs with great coffee and great community? The Lettered Streets Coffeehouse is still that place. Yes, they have good coffee but they also serve Morning Glory Chai with Oatly. Get yo’self some. Dang.
Quaint, quiet and cozy. Best steamed milk Ive ever had. Its creamy and the coffee is delicious.
Friendly, good coffee. Gf, vegan pastry options
Lovely historical building, superb coffee and charming staff create one of the warmest coffee shops Ive ever been inside.
Good, just really good. Prefectly done, no useless extra junk, just flawless coffee made with the upmost kindness and care. They dont look at you funny when you order in a strange way, or want things done a certain way, they just do it right the first time, the second, third......etc etc. And they will again.
Excellent coffee in a classic cafe setting. Great PNW vibe! The locals go to this one.
Located near the historic Pickett House, this is a very serene coffee shop with friendly employees and a standard fare of coffees.
Always a pleasure to come here.
Cappuccino, ice coffee and chocolate pastry were all pretty good and the service was friendly. Will come again.
I was looking for an independent coffee shop to work on homework during the weekends with good coffee that would keep me motivated! The baristas find you once you have ordered and always promote another latte over water (obviously how it should be). Go here if youre looking for a slower paced, authentic Bellingham coffee shop
Another great Bellingham coffeehouse full of character, good coffee, small but good selection of pastries and friendly service. Big windows and a sunny feel.
Nice change from other coffee places. Great coffee
Small coffeehouse offering coffee from Onyx, which is a small roaster importer here in Bellingham. Great vibe, usually not too busy, and they dont mind if you only order coffee and work there all day :)
Great coffee, wonderful service, good atmosphere, a Bellingham icon. I love this place
Great beverages and muffins/cookies. Very friendly staff. Excellent local coffee house.
Very nice but would like to see more bakery choices
Yummy almond milk mocha, and friendly service every time Ive been in. I go whenever I have time!
Very good law office, reasonably priced.Highly knowledgeable and exceptional service with necessary paperwork.
It is Saturday morning at 7:55. Their door is unlocked as they open at 8:00. The lady refused to serve me. She said we are not open yet. So I waited until 8:00. She still did not serve me. Making a customer wait, and the door was open, is very, very bad customer service. She is a very rude employee. Not to even ask me what I want at 8, when they officially open is just terrible service!!!!!!!!!
The baristas here are always so nice and the atmosphere is cozy. One of my favorite places in Bellingham.
Really enjoy the atmosphere and coffee. Locals frequent this place and chat over a delicious beverage. The building is historic and has charm. Theres free Wi-Fi also you just have to ask for the password.
Far and away my favorite coffee shop in Bellingham. Relaxed atmosphere, the baristas are genuinely kind and caring, and the coffee is delish. A+.
The Golden Steamer based on Saku Teas blend is amazing!
They have delightful coffee and a delightful outlook on life.
I enjoy this coffee shop when ever I am in town. They make great cortados, and are very friendly.
Best Mocha in town, hands down.
Cute place with great coffee
Sweet little coffee house! Parking can be tricky. I always walked there.
Trip down memory lane. Spent 14 years living in Bham.
Friendly tasty atmisphere. Smells robust too.
I know that this is a coffee house but it would be nice if they could learn to serve tea
Cute little cafe. Leah made the best latte ever!
My favorite coffee shop in Bellingham. A cozy vibe great for working or socializing with friends AND excellent baristas who still have never burnt my dairy free milk.
I love coming to the lSC on a quiet morning, and enjoying some of their delicious coffee!!
Superior coffee. A slightly off vibe, but a quiet atmosphere.
Great service. Nice place to chill.
The London Fog is sooooo good! Awesome place!
Small but personable. Coffee and hot chocolate are amazing!
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, good coffee. Nice neighborhood place.
Ive been to Lettered Streets only a handful of times but on this last visit the beans were burned. I smelled so strongly of burned coffee that I had to air out my car when I got home and my kids commented on my clothes.
First Class be coffee and quiet atmosphere.
Great coffee and atmosphere. Odd restroom set up, even by Portland standards.
Best local coffee especially if its caramel
Best coffee in town,The music is very nice,You go to there now!
Love these folks.
Very courteous and helpful staff. Very good coffee!
Try a chocolatte! Great staff and atmosphere.
Great coffee! Takes a long time so dont plan on zipping in and out of here quick.
