Unbelievably rude. I called for a quote on gravel delivery. I dont know anything about gravel and I was met with nothing but condescension. I understand I may have called on a busy day, but the person on the phone was nearly unwilling to provide a quote for any service and treated me as if I was interrupting her day.I never leave reviews and dont mean this to punish this business. I hope this review is received so that they can improve how new prospective customers are treated.

Been getting sand, gravel, limestone and beauty bark from Alger Sand and Gravel. No frills no gimmicks just quick service with a smile. Its only a couple miles from my house. Once I found out about Alger Sand and Gravel all my yard projects can move so much quicker. Thank you!

Been getting gravel from Dan for years now. Hes always been extremely helpful and friendly, and Ive never had any trouble getting ahold of him. Everything I do is small scale backyard stuff. It seems like Bell Alger Sand and Gravel has grown quite a bit over the years, but I get the same great treatment every time. Great prices too, and highly recommended.

About a year ago I bought 4 dump trailers of top soil from them and they were very good, low price quality service. Then I tried getting gravel. I called to get two loads delivered to my house, no one returned my call. A week later I called again, no call back. This went on for three weeks. Finally gave up and called concrete norwest, they were more expensive but the gravel was here the next day. Yesterday I needed a few loads of bark, so I checked their website since they are close to my house. Says they are open 9-4. I load up the dump trailer and head over. Once I get there I pull in and wait around for fifteen minutes, try calling a few times, no answer. Eventually I just left and bought it elsewhere. Not sure if the owner has so much money he can blow off customers or what is going on. Save yourself some hassle and just go to one of the other places to get your stuff.

I dont know why this company never returns my calls or emails. Youd think they would want business?? Ive tried on multiple occasions and never get a hold of anyone. Absolutely ridiculous. Im done trying and will go elsewhere.

Honest and fair prices, been going for a few years for his Arborists chips. Great for mulch and paths.

On 3 separate occasions Ive had them deliver dirt or rock to our place. They are always very accommodating and helpful with whatever project we are needing materials for.

Dan at Bell Alger is great. His prices are fair and delivery is prompt. I would highly recommend him.
