Builders Alliance has the best stock of all the local lumber yards, period bar none, I am in the business. Their prices may not compete for some material needs, but the quality exceeds all professional lumber years as I have been picking for over 15 years. Professionals use BA because of their quality, competitive pricing, ease of load up, etc.

Very nice. Great large showroom and had an informative project planning conversation with the guy weve met with once before.

Everyone was SO helpful! From the ease of payment to having what we needed in stock and loaded as well. Tomas helped tremendously make my quick lunch break errand to get lumber very easy. He picked out great 10ft 4x4s for me, checked they were good quality, and loaded them in the truck for me. Very greatful and everyone seemed to be happy to be working! We will be making this place our priority to come back for our future projects.

Salesman helped me get the wood I needed, as the product I came in for was quadruple the cost.

Everything about working with this place has been a nightmare. We ordered ~$10k in materials to build a deck. The wood they delivered was so terrible our contractor couldn’t use it. So we had to waste an entire day loading it all up and bringing back, buying more from somewhere else.We’d also had to special order a few things that were to come in a few days later and be delivered. Here we are a week out and while they said they’d call when the material came in, what do you know, no call. After calling it turns out the material is there but now we’re expected to pick it up.After talking to several friends it turns out our experience is by no means unique. We are in the middle of several remodeling projects and this business will not get another dime from me. The sheer incompetence in every interaction makes me wonder how they’re in business at all.

Ordered plygem windows from Jon. First set of windows came with some scratches on them. Plygem gave me a small discount for the second set which was nice of them but then jon didn’t adjust the window measurements correctly like the first order so the rest of my windows arrived too big for the openings. Ended up with a lot more work. I wouldn’t recommend

Their prices are more than fair, but i use them for the customer service. I really appreciate Ryan taking time and sharing his experience and watching Luke, the delivery guy, work was artful. even after an arduous trip to Lummi Island he still took his time placing all the material in logical thoughtful places in spite of it being challenging and taking more time.

If I could give a half of a star I would. It has been 12 weeks and I still have no counter tops. Now I am being told that Builders and their counter top representative does not want to work with us any longer. He was supposed to meet us for a meeting and didnt even bother to show up. When we contacted him he was very rude over the phone. When we went into the store we were greeted with eye rolls and told that they are really busy. It has been excuse upon excuse. I will never use them again and neither will my contractor.

Not a contractor. Went in with some questions about shelving, and the fellow who helped really couldnt have done more to answer questions. Genuinely helpful.

My association with the company has been good throughout the years; however, this past year the service has definitely deteriorated dealing with Ned Pattison. Thousand of dollars spent to Alliance this past year and others; however, your rep Ned Pattison banged upon my door late tonight (June 16, 2017) yelling a lot of abusive and inflammatory remarks. He was definitely scarey. I had to call Birch Bay Community security. He yelled and said We will take you to court! etc., etc. I told him that my contractor, Art Terpsma, is scheduled to finish when it is good for painting when the weather is conducive to paint sticking to outdoor surfaces. He, in my opinion did not represent Builders Alliance as I know it. Ned Pattison was so convincing as a negative element I called Birch Bay Community Security to advise Unfortunately Mr. Pattison lives just down the street from me. Nevertheless our security company has been advised of this angry situation with him.Mr. Ned Pattison needs to be more professional in representing his company. He was interfering with my contractor with whom all the details have been addressed and worked out.We need to pray for Ned Pattison, I mean this sincerely.
