The store itself is fine. my issue is with the staff. I understand it says that there is a no public bathroom policy however I am a school bus driver and I drive a big bus which means I can’t just park anywhere,I have to find a big enough place for me to park to get in and get out without blocking anyone in and/or possibly hitting something going in or out. While I was on my charter I had to park in the Ironworks Parking lot, I had a group taking photos so there was no specific area that they were going to be. I had to use the restroom extremely bad to the point that my stomach was hurting. I’m not from this area so I parked in the biggest area that the bus would fit and took a chance on walking down the street to this Family Dollar. Now when she looked at me, I had my vest on so it’s clear that I have an occupation and I have nice clothes on so I’m not some creep off the streets looking for a bathroom to do drugs in or whatever. When I asked if I could use a facility the woman didn’t even look at me and just said no. Now I get it! there are rules that you need to follow but I also know that there are rules that can be bent! I have rules that I need to follow as well but there have been many times where I had to break those rules because it was necessary! It’s called kindness it’s called hospitality it’s called being a human being for crying out loud!

Compared to other Family Dollars this one seemed run down. I would go to one of the other ones. Will not revisit.
