Ive been to this store shopping and attending. Shopping, obviously for those rare items you cant easily find by browsing some web site and attending, by attending a few of the concerts held right there in the store. Ive found items to add to my home wall displays, and thoroughly enjoy listening to and meeting the musicians who perform there. The owner is knowledgeable about the business of antiques and is always ready to share some stories about the local community.

Nakikio Briscoe - To respond to your review. I am a vendor in Whistle Stop Antiques. We were asked to call the police by the License Bureau Director due to an unruly customer waiting in line outside our shop. She was refused service by the DMV due to her actions and required to leave by the Belton PD.

I Cant believe this business called police on people standing on the side walk waiting in line for the DMV. Wasting the cops time! Should be ashamed.

I love this place !! Alot of antique furniture & the color of glass, alot of people dont realize that some of these Blue glass & differant colors that is actually worth money. Very noticeable & lots of antiques. All I can say is if your in Belton, Mo, please dont miss this place !! Im going to rate it instead of the 5 star, Im, me will rate it from scale to 1 to 10, scale, Im going to throw out there !! Its a 20 scale
