This is a great place to pick up your landscaping supplies. Very fast and friendly service. Their prices are very affordable. I pay less than $40 for a truck load of gravel that would cost me over $300 at home Depot! Would recommend them to anybody!

DO NOT buy organic compost from here! We bought 3 yards of organic screened compost and the quality was absolutely terrible. Too many big rocks to count in this “screened” compost and glass and all kinds of trash throughout. Would not recommend to anyone!

We bring in some of the stone they sell and I can tell you that it is the highest quality that you can get. We are stone haulers. We would know. Its what we do. Ty and God bless.

I started a new vegetable garden last year with raised beds full of Garden Soil from Cheaper Than Dirt. All of the plants grew quickly, produced beautiful and delicious veggies, and produced all season.The price of the soil and delivery was reasonable and every person I spoke to or met there was very pleasant and professional. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Cheaper Than Dirt Landscape Supply!

Travis Farr is excellent. I will never turn to anyone else for any material...dirt, decomposed granite, gravel, etc. Honestly, I dont know how they compare to others on price...you may find other providers/haulers cheaper. But I like the idea that I can call him, give him a day or two notice and I get scheduled for a delivery. Easy and turnkey. If you want to go by and look at the material, they are located just off I-35 in Belton. He is very conscious of not doing any damage to your property when he is delivering. Very happy someone recommended Cheaper Than Dirt to me. Extremely satisfied.

I’m giving them 2 stars only because the employees were friendly. I wouldn’t suggest this company though it’s a complete ripoff. They will charge you $300 for a small pile of sand that you can get for $30 from lows. Not to mention they have a $45 credit card fee if you can’t pay cash. My suggestion is go to Home Depot, Lowe’s, Or anywhere but here. It’s a rip off

Did a great job delivering and moving 6 yards of mason sand to the house and than to the back yard for a pool. Best prices around good people and great customer service. I have used Cheaper Than Dirt a few times over the years, and have always been happy with both the service and the product I received. Their product and delivery prices are fair and when they promise to show up at a specific time, they are there... Good vendor.

We had a good experience with Cheaper Than Dirt. The order didnt start off as planned, when we had a delivery of pea-gravel instead of garden mix. Uneducated, we thought this is what had been recommended to tend to our failing grass - and started to sprinkle this over the grass. Once we realised our mistake, and let Travis know, he sent one of his guy to help clean up, and take back the gravel before depositing the correct order. Mistakes can happen to the best of people, but its how they put it right that counts - and because of that we give them a 5 star review. Not everyone out there in business are the good guys, but these guys are.

Travis was awesome!!!! Super polite and his communication was amazing. He made sure I had exactly what I asked for when I needed it. Travis even delivered it to killeen where I needed the mason sand to put under my pool. Travis is just a down to earth respectful guy, great costumer service and a great company. By far the best prices on town, highly recommend.

I first used Cheaper Than Dirt about a year ago for landscaping supplies for my front and backyard. Highly recommend! They have a very large selection of rocks, compost, mulch etc; at VERY competitive/better price points than others....so much so I communited from Waco for it. Theyll load up your truck/trailer by the yard or will even deliver!

I came in to get 1.25 yards of Granite gravel. First they only sell by the yard then charged $70 a yard? Ive never paid over $42 a yard. Ill never go back instead of cheaper than dirt it should be called HIGHWAY ROBBERY.

If you have trouble finding it, its located at 813 Spring St. Travis is a nice man who appreciates the business. There is a wide variety of mulch, rock, and dirt. It was worth the drive from Kempner and I will definitely be going back.

Purchase the special blend of garden mix. Amended my garden with 4yds of the mix and my wife planted the seed and plants she wanted. The plants love it and are looking great. Eggplant is blooming and tomatoes are growing several inches per day. Cumbers are already making. We have never had any luck with eggplant before. Wife could not be more happy with the results.Thanks Cheaper Than Dirt for a great product!

I came here at 1230 pm today. Nobody was around so I called the number listed. I was told to wait 20 minutes. 20 min, ugh ok, not to unreasonable but not very business minded. 35 minutes later no response. Im not gonna wait here all day. This guy obviously doesnt want to make money. Going elsewhere!

The destroyed my site by pulling a truck over our underlay and shredding it without telling us. They said they were sorry and drove off. then refused to com back and fix it.

I ordered 12 cubic yards of turkey compost and double ground compost and was dismayed to find that the compost was full of clay clods ranging from the size of ping pong balls all the way to the size of large grapefruits as well as rocks, large twigs, even pieces of two by fours. This material is not screened. Given the companys claim that customer satisfaction is guaranteed, I requested that they come get the material and refund my money, but the owner was not interested in doing that, nor would he respond to my request that he at least refund some of the cost. He insists this is how compost is, which is not true. Retail compost is screened. It took my family of four an entire week to screen through this material, and now we have over two cubic yards of clay to dispose of.I am updating my comment. Though Mr. Farr says below that he is sorry I was disappointed and wants to win back my business, he has not responded to my request that he make good on those words. He has not refunded any of my money, nor can I believe he ever had the intention of doing so. So spare yourself trouble and heart ache and stay away from this dishonest business.

Their compost, at least in my case, was not compost at all but huge blocks of clay scooped from a feedlot or something. Look before you buy if you try this place. I am still dealing with lousy clay pieces over a year after getting so called compost here.
