I have known and trusted Jerry and Bell Air Conditioning for decades. I just went through an ordeal with my 9 year old Lennox DLSC system that has taken 2 weeks to diagnose and show its issue.. Andrew and Ryan were relentless in finding the leak. Mike was very quick to find and procure the replacement coil needed in this unstable parts market. Ryan was here before expected to install the new coil and got the system up very quickly. Ann and Lauren were most helpful, great listeners and schedulers. As expected, Jerry takes care of us again. Thank you all at Bell Air Conditioning for you kindness, determination and follow through.
My wife and I are an older couple and we used Bell Air Conditioning for over 35 years. We have had absolutely outstanding service from them during this time. They have always been there for us time and time again, when our air conditioning system needed service.Recently, at the beginning of a popular holiday weekend, even when our hot Texas suns temperature soared in the 100 plus range, they graciously came out on short notice and fixed our air conditioning.Jerry, one of the owners, is one of the nicest and caring individual you will ever meet. Before becoming an owner, Jerry was a highly qualified and experienced technician and loyal employee in the company. He never hesitated to go the extra mile. His outstanding customer service attitude and leadership is reflected in the rest of their employees from the top down throughout the company. Many companies today have lost honest, high quality, old-fashioned service mentality towards their customers. But not Bell Air Conditioning. And we know others who are loyal customers and feel the same way. We are sorry we can give them only five stars. We would give them more if we could.
We had a new system installed this week.I am very pleased with the service. The entire team was very professional, courteouss, polite & honest. They are a 5 Star company.Thank you Ronnie & team.Jean Bradshaw
Installation of indoor/outdoor HVAC units was sloppy. Screws missing on indoor unit, flex conduit from shutoff to outdoor unit had broken connection. Frame bent at bottom of indoor unit which makes replacing filter almost impossible. Never received any request to have representative review the installation or performance of the indoor or outdoor unit. When contacted with a thermostat issue, they didnt seem too interested in providing service. Last statement to them was the next time I need a HVAC unit, it definitely will not be provided by Bell Air Conditioning. No offer of retention as a customer.
They came out on a service call & found a leak in the coil. The coil was under warranty & I had to pay labor. They ordered the coil. While the tech was here, I asked to put in a blow out on drain pipe in case it got stopped up. He said he would & gave me a price of $609.00 for the coil and drain pipe repair. When he came out, he installed the coil & forgot to put the drain pipe in.Three weeks later, water was backing up in the house. The tech should have At least blown out the drain pipe before he left on the installation of the coil. The tech was here for 1 hr to install the coil which I was charged $609.00 for installation. I called them with my problem and They wanted charge me a again to come out & put In drain pipe blow out. It would take no more than 15 minutes to do this. Make sure you get the estimate in writing with this company before approving the repair.
We took several bids on a new air conditioner. Bell answered all our questions quickly. Ronny was very professional and patient with all our questions. We made the deal and the next day our new system was installed. The crew was very professional and had our system up and running by the end of the day. The new unit is running great keeping our home comfortable.
We selected Bell Air Conditioning, Inc. to replace our HVAC with the new inverter HVAC system about 13 months ago. Yesterday I had to call company because the system seemed to struggle a bit to cool the house with 92 degree outside. Unfortunately the new highly complex system will need more maintenance compared with old simple system. Technician arrived quickly and diagnosed the issue to loose connection on motherboard. Since the standard labor warranty is only for 12 month I paid $109 for the service. To my surprise I received call from manager later this day and they waived the fee explaining I was only one month outside the labor warranty. Not too many business would do it these days. Shortly after initial replacement they corrected issue with my ducts, which was not a part of original estimate, that was not noticed during original installation at no additional cost. Highly recommend this company.
Its not about if mistakes happen but how a company responds when they do. We had an issue with our annual contract and the service tech performing the work. Jerry one of the owners was prompt in coming to our home and resolved the situation. He listened carefully to our concerns and offered solutions. They understand the customer comes first.
I have a new home with an A/C unit installed by this company. I have lived in my home for less than two years and am having to put almost $1000 worth of work into a not yet 2 year old A/C. They charge $140 to check for a refrigerant leak, not even fix it, just look for it and they were already here working. My A/C unit was labeled hard to access even though it is readily available and easy to access in the attic. This is not normal for an A/C to need this much work this early on in its existence.Update: They have kindly decided to work with me on the cost of the repairs. I appreciate their work.
Always top notch professional service. We will continue calling on them for our heating and A/C needs!
Our technician, Josef, was thorough, friendly, and informative. He explained any repairs that needed to be done and answered any questions we had. The pricing seemed fair, and he was upfront with all of the charges before moving forward. We will certainly be using Bell Air Conditioning for any AC needs that we may have in the future. Thank you Josef and Bell Air Conditioning for a great experience.
We have used Bell Air Conditioning for years, and have an annual service contract with them. They have always be prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced, and have handled our air conditioning needs professionally and competently. We have NO complaints with them.
Watch Out!! Although their technicians are courteous and professional, Bell Air Conditioning puts a 700% markup on the price of R410a refrigerant gas, and you wont know this until youre handed a bill. They literally charged me $33.50 per pound for refrigerant thats commercially available for about $4.72 per pound! Theyre making a KILLING on their markup, and theyll keep doing it because once theyve charged your AC system, theyve got you for whatever they want to take you for. Call around and compare prices on refrigerant gas BEFORE scheduling a service call.
Our A/C went out at 1 am this morning and our property management basically told us we were out of luck until at least noon the next day bc theyre all booked up... And my husband and I would have managed if we didnt have a 10 month old. Luckily, we went directly to the owner of our house that called Bell air conditioning. They came out within 20 minutes and fixed it!!! We couldnt have been more grateful. Not only that, but the tech that came out... Younger man, so sorry I dont know his name... Was sooooo polite and respectful. Given it was a middle of the night call, we would have understood if he was tired and grumpy, but he definitely wasnt. Thank you Bell!!! I will recommend you to everyone in the area!
Our technician, David, was very professional and polite. We will definitely use him again.
They reprogrammed my outside control unit. Its program was lost/corrupted somehow
Super nice folks they help me a lot told to be carful putting run cap on ac an the cap. was only 11 bucks
The owner and supervisor are so full of themselves. They dont know how to treat their employees
These folks rock. Best in the business.
After a long drawn out service call, I did a little research. I found that not a single technician at Bell Air Conditioning is NATE certified, but yet they claim they are. Nor are they L.P. certified, again a claim Bell Air Conditioning makes. Oh and lets just throw in none of these technicians are registered with the State of Texas, like they must be. The only reason I write this is after having a technician out who said my system was a little low on R22 and charged me $400 in just R22. After a few months I noticed my air conditioner was not working again I called another company who not only fixed where the leak was, charged me half what Bell Air Conditioning did. Homeowners beware of this company. I called Bell Air Conditioning after the other company had left and voiced my disbelief. Not only was the lady who I talked to very rude, never did I get a call back from the service manager like I was told. If you need your air conditioner fix I would never call this company, they are rude, do not have skilled technicians, and just rip people off.
I wouldnt trust them as far as I could throw them.
Racist place and only care about they self.
Polite, friendly and great work
