We rented some fat tire e-bikes last week from Bend Electric Bikes and rode them on trails with 5 inches of fresh snow! It was soooo much fun. The studded tires made the traction seem like there wasnt any snow at all. Zooming through snow covered trees with the e-bike assist was truly an experience. The service was great, the bikes were bomber, and riding on snow was way more fun than I ever imagined it would be.

Purchased my Giant eBike from Bend Electric Bikes a few weeks ago, and I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The entire staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff that work at Bend Electric Bikes are some of the friendliest and most accommodating people. They really took the time to answer my questions and let me test ride multiple bikes to ensure that I was getting the bike that would best suit my needs. I didn’t feel pressured to buy a bike and felt reassured knowing that I had a local bike shop in town that I could bring my bike back to for maintenance and warranty repairs!! Very satisfied with my bike and find myself biking now more than driving a car, which feels so liberating and has increased my quality of life! If you’re considering buying an e-bike I recommend making an appointment to test ride a bike. So much fun!!

Just bought my first electric bike. Sterling, was extremely helpful in educating me on the merits of the different brands. He was patient and thorough. He delivered the bike to my home and picked it up as an adjustment was needed. His dedication to customer satisfaction is evident.

Great shop with awesome people! We rented a family/cargo bike while visiting Bend and had one of the best days of our entire year. We put three kids in the bucket and rode all over town. All of us loved every minute of it! Highly recommended shop with a great selection of bikes and awesome service. Troy helped us out and was super easy to work with. The other employee (I didnt catch her name) was kind enough to keep the kids out of trouble by letting them check out the fish while I did the paperwork!

I didnt have an appointment to look at the bikes but a very nice young gal answered our questions for us. She was very helpful. Also talked with a person who bought an ebike 3 years ago and had all good to say about the purchase and service. Would give 5 stars but covid19 rules wont let you enter shop without appointment.

As a 56-year-old, native-born entrepreneurial bendite, that has served the community as the local funeral home owner and embalmer, realtor, general contractor and shooting instructor, who knows the service industry and adamantly supports the local businesses!Trust me when I say, communication SERVICE IS POOR AT BEST!I have sent many clients, friends and family to this business, all of them have echoed the same response! Dont be surprised if once you do finally book an appointment, that they cancel it.Thats what happened to me, when they finally got back to me days later! I could go on and on with negative stories!I like the owner but you would be wise to choose another cycle shop!They dont deserve your business!

Great people and excellent service. They really know what they are talking about, they dont try to oversell you cause they want to make sure you get a bike thats right for you.Update: had it bikes for over a year now and they are still running strong. The team does fantastic service on them and I know they will be there for the long run to keep them going for years to come.

Carl was extremely helpful and patient in helping me with some details I didn’t understand about my bike and for a good demo of how to secure my bike on a platform carrier. My whole experience of purchasing an e-Bike has been overwhelming positive!

Google maps and your voicemail BOTH claim you’re open, though with different hours. I show up to a note saying “appointment only”. Update your voicemail at least, do others don’t waste a half hour drive.

Im a traveling gear ambassador and needed help diagnosing a throttle issue. He took the time and chatted and helped me see it was the throttle and not my controller!Yay for good Folk & Bikes 🚲Made it worth his time n energy also, Important folks, remember that!

I bought an ebike from Bend Electric Bikes recently. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. They have a huge selection and let me test ride several models around the neighborhood. They were very knowledgeable and keen on matching a bike to my needs and feedback.Since I drove that day, I wasnt able to take the bike with me when I bought it, so I came back the next day to pick it up. Even though they had a community event going on that day and werent supposed to be handling sales issues, they drove across town to storage and got the bike for me. Super great to their customers!

BEB is an awesome local business that always takes care of me like I was their only customer. I have a cargo bike that I work out of, so downtime is expensive. These wonderful people always get me back on the road quickly.

We did an e-bike tour along the Deschutes. Im still smiling now thinking about it. Most fun a person can have in 90 minutes. Very highly recommended.

Sterling and Scott were amazing guides that led to us purchasing two electric bikes after months of researching......I fell in love with the Reese & Müeller Swing and Scott got the Benno Boost with incredible cargo capacity. Rude opinionated jerk that wants to talk down to customers and treat people like theyve done something wrong if they have done business with any other shop in town. Ill take my business anywhere but here.

We took our two girls (both under 3 years old) on the bike tour and had an amazing time. It was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Our experience could not have been better. Left on a test ride with the owner a little apprehensive but learned all of the controls, laughed and had a grand time and came back a bike rider. Awesome 😊😊😊

They take the time to fully educate you on the various bicycles, allow you to take test rides and then choose the perfect bike for you.

Great shop close to downtown. We were staying in a cottage across the street and had forgotten our chargers for our Ezee Expedir Cargo bike. They were kind enough to charge our batteries for us and we found a great deal on some Yuba straps. Great service.Cheers!

I got to ride my friends electric mntn bike at the eclipse festival and fell in love with the concept. I thought a cargo bike would be a good choice. But I fell in love with the Delite by Reise & Muller. Sporty, yet capable of carrying moderate loads, full suspension and lots n lots of fun. Sterling and Scott were very helpful and a great local business. Highly recommended!!

Double wow!I ask about combining a bike they do sell with a motor that they dont even list as having on their website and told that thats an interesting idea give us a few hours. I get an e-mail with a photo showing it fits!Follow up with all sorts of technical questions answered.Then, the embarrassing part. With the chaos around me I get confused, I mix up who I was e-mailing and look at competitors website, see their floor model discount and write BEB about buying it the next day and the motor I asked about. Although BEB sells that same bike they forwarded the e-mail to the other bike store to let me get the savings of a floor model and the other store the sale.I plan on buying the motor from them though, had more questions but could not wait to rave about how helpful and great a store.
