This place should be called The Honest Mechanic. Ive taken four different family vehicles here, never been anything but happy with the work & price. They do a professional inspection & offer beyond fair pricing for higher quality parts than most competitors. They dont try & replace parts that still have life left, and they communicate clearly. I can’t recommend these guys more! Josh and them were so personable and nice. My breaks went bad FAST so I needed to get in quick but I needed it to not cost me and arm and a leg like some shops.... they were able to get me in for an inspection and new breaks all the next day. These guys are amazing.I brought my car in last year to have the brakes done as I knew it was getting close and after inspection, they kindly called saying I didn’t need brakes yet and didn’t feel the need to perform an unnecessary service. Most places would have done it anyways.I did finally need new brakes and they were kind, professional, excellent communication and way cheaper than what I was quoted elsewhere. I would highly recommend brakes 4 less as these guys are awesome!!!

Company is quick to take your money, and extremely complacent when things go wrong. I had a complete break job done. Fast forward a couple weeks, and my breaks are squeaking louder than a city bus in Harlem! Despite dropping my truck off repeatedly for them to “look” at it, nothing has been done. I try to keep my business local, but in this case I will take it to les Schwab‘s and be taken care of like a valued customer!

I needed brake repair on my Jeep, called the shop and discussed what I thought needed to be done. After a discussion I was given an estimate range based on the need to review my vehicle. I received an appointment for the next day for a review and final estimate. The estimate came back within the range we discussed the day before and the work was done within the time frame estimated and after a few hundred miles there are no problems. I am very happy with the job and price.

These folks did a job for $100 that other places were trying to charge me at LEAST $150 for. Fast, friendly and down to earth. I wish other mechanics places operated like these folks.Their big beautiful dog, I think its a mastiff (they keep him/her safely behind the counter) popped its head up to say hi, too. Pretty rad 😁

Watch out! I got all 4 rotors and pads replaced, drove home to Minnesota and took my car in because of the weird noises it was making. One of the tires was ready to fall off (literally) and another was close, plus the bolts on the calipers hadnt been properly attached. This is mechanics 101 that these guys totally blew.

These guys were able to get me in immediately when I called. I needed to get my rotors turned, due to violent shaking on downhill braking. Ive had work done here before and was really pleased with the price for the work, and felt it was a highly honest price, compared to getting stroked by car dealerships. So my rear rotors were in really bad shape and needed replaced. I got bot replaced, labor and all for $335 on a full size chevy truck. I would highly recommend CO Brakes if youre looking for good work and a honest deal.

Our brakes needed replacing so we called a couple places including the shop we take all our cars to for servicing. That shop quoted a price nearly double what Brakes 4 less quoted. Brakes 4 less was able to get us in same day and in a short time our truck was ready to pick up.They tried to machine the rotors but were unsuccessful being the rotors were too far worn to continue to use. They offered to replace the rotors but were unable to do it that same day. When we brought the truck back they didn’t charge us for additional labor and upgraded the rotors to a higher quality.I really feel like these guys care about their clients and are willing to do the best brake service at the lowest cost. I will continue to use them for future brakes needs.

This is the way a business should operate! I went in for new brake pads because another mechanic told me that my brake pads were nearly worn out and when I took it to This place they let me know that my brake pads were still 60%, and I wouldnt need anything else. I offered to at least pay for an inspection but they refused payment. I didnt even know that places like this still existed in 2020. I would trust my vehicles to them anytime And I will for sure be back the next time I need any break work on any of my vehicles.Pro tip: If you are waiting for your vehicle to be finished here, run across the street to Dandys and enjoy a great burger.

I also made a follow up visit and he was happy to double check my master cylinder and he even made sure my brakes were bled correctly which they were. This company is the best! My brakes were in serious need of repair. I dropped in on a Saturday morning, and less than one hour later, my brakes were fixed (with two year warranty), and I was on my way. The shop fee was beyond reasonable compared to what I have paid at the dealership before, as well as the local tire store. Lastly, the gentlemen I dealt with were kind, engaging and helpful. While travelling the country in my 2001 GMC Yukon towing my 6,000 lb. camper I knew the rear brakes were grinding metal to metal.I stopped in and Jeff gave me an extremely reasonable price including a military discount for replacing all 4 rotors and installing high performance pads with a high performance fluid flush and replacement.There was no pressure to purchase the additional high performance option but rather he explained that pulling 6,000 lbs. would generate less heat with that option.My appointment was early and the staffs treatment of my concerns and their personal attention to answering my questions was knowledgeable and professional and the work was done in 2 hours.I highly recommend this business not only for the price but for the friendly atmosphere of the entire staff. So I took my car into the local dealer to get my oil changed last week and was informed that I had 19% left on my front brake pads and less than 10% left on my rear pads. They also told me I had a blown front strut on the passenger side front tire. Total quoted repair was over $1375.00 So I decided to contact Brakes for less because I had been really happy with them in the past. I made an appointment and dropped it off to have them do the brakes as he quoted me over $100 less for better pads. After I dropped it off (and they gave me a ride to work) Joshua called me to let me know that I had 75% left on both front and rear pads and DID NOT NEED to have my brakes done!What an amazing company! I had them replace the front shocks and they again surprised me by saving me $75 on a front alignment that was not needed as well!It is rare to be treated this way by a service shop and would give them 10 stars if I could!!!!Thanks gentlemen and keep up the great, honest work.

This shop is fabulous. I had a brake sensor light on and brought it in. After an inspection I was thrilled to not need new brakes, but just a sensor which they fixed quickly the very next day. Reasonable prices and great customer service.

Fantastic people who know brakes inside and out. The prices are the best. They are fast and the job is done right the first time. I was quoted a brake job elsewhere for well over $500 and they did it for $250. A guy brought in a Porsche and was quoted well over $1000 and CO Brakes for Less quoted him $400. There is a thing called integrity and these guys know what that means. Every used car I buy, I take into them for a free inspection and they give me the straight scoop. I sent a friend in who was worried about his brakes on his new used car. They told him they had 25% left on the front, and come back in a few months for another inspection.

They were super busy and still took a second to troubleshoot my truck before I drove back to Burns.

This shop was extremely professional. They did not talk down to me as if I had no idea what they were talking about like I have had at other shops. They were ready for me when I arrived for my appointment and had the truck on the lift in under ten minutes. Five minutes later they had the problem diagnosed and scheduled me for the next day. I dropped of the truck in the morning and they had it done in no time at all. They had quoted me a price but told me when I picked it up that it went faster than expected and their bill was 40% less than quoted, awesome!!! They also said you have 30% left on your front pads so you have some time left. Other shops would say you need new pads, not these guys, zero pressure sales. Could not recommend a shop more!!!! I will be back and will send all my friends their way. Thanks for what you do guys!

Owner was at desk when I told him that I was there to get front brakes done (Id been there before). He said he wanted to take a look at them first.He slid under my car peeked at the brakes and informed me there still was twenty percent left. DONE. No charge just a see you later... THATS an honest business.

Wonderful place, I thought I needed new brakes but come to find out they just needed lubed and touched up. We told them what type of motorhome we had, 24’ and rescheduled other appointments we had to bring it in and coordinated a ride back. We get there and they say too big. Not cool wasting peoples time. Plus a week wasted waiting for appointment.

I have a 1969 Chevrolet C-10 and I took her in to have the brakes looked at. They offered a free inspection that only took about half an hour. Very professional and courteous. My truck required no work, but I will be taking it back to them when I replace the shocks or any other suspension/brake components.

While traveling to Bend from out of town, my brakes started making a horrific squeaking noise. Les Schwab diagnosed the problem, but couldnt get the parts in for three days! These guys did it in three hours with no appointment for fifty bucks cheaper. They were also polite and funny. Great business.

Great peple bad service had them working on a 93 ford f250 for tripple A landscape..I told them it was locking up and might be abs module or somthing was not sure thats why I am hear.and I was told those things (abs module)never go (if they didnt then why do they make replacements.??)) bad .so I had them replace it anyways after the 5 times of bring it back and they said it probally wouldent fix the problem.so I had them do it anyways.(if they know it wouldent work why didnt they do what would work after all thats why I was their to find problem)so after having the truck back .it locked up and almost had to tow it back . I had to take it back 5 times before I throw in the towl EVEN ONE TIME IT SMOKED SO BAD WE HAD TO PULL OVER AND WAIT..We called and told them and they offered no tow and told us to drive it back down.we even showed them the video of it smoking . And still today it locks up when hot. .. then they got irritated with me .and basically told me it was all good. so even today it locks up under heat..and all this time still not right.. time is money.. I just wanted my work truck to work .and it was a work truck at that time..I found it ironic cause the time it took to take back 5 times I lost money from lost jobs cause they couldent do their evaluations correctly.. would be a great shop..sorry guys for this but its truth..
