We ordered hot mochas with half the syrup and almond milk, and they were perfect. Smooth and creamy texture and just the right amount of sweetness.

Its a tie...best coffee and best staff. The drip coffee is always a delicious rotating roast. And one of the best americanos in Bend. Plus, the staff is super friendly and groovy. They not only know their coffee but always seem to find a way to make a human connection and bring a smile. Thanks for the morning sunshine!

Great atmosphere, less expensive than Starbucks with far superior coffee. Outdoor seating available along with indoor tables. COVID safety protocols in place. I had the honey lavender latte, which was delicious and had the right amount of lavender in it! Thanks for a great coffee!

We came to Backporch Coffee probably dozens of times during our stay in Bend. The staff were always incredibly nice and the coffee was always wonderfully tasty. They have great espresso drinks and drip coffee, including good almond and oat milk drinks.Dont forget to get a punch card, youll probably be heading back for seconds!

Apparently, some people like IPA-style bitter watery coffee.I am not one of them.There are two places in Bend, in addition to Starbucks, that do not serve bitter coffee. Strictly Organic is decent, usually.Can coffee places identify bitter coffee vs rich coffee, so customers can decide what they prefer?

Tried the Latte here ($4.25, Venti) -Quite tasty! Lots of space in the shop and do feel safe in light of COVID 19.

Never, ever, in my 20+ years of drinking coffee have I tasted roast without a hint of bitter burned beans. I dont know what youre doing, but youre doing it well. Get the Honey Lavender Latte, which they again hit out of the park with delicate flavorings that tell your mouth, this is tasty, not soapy.Do it. Youll love it.

I would have given Backporch four stars for good coffee but they have decided to continue to exclude inside seating even though they have plenty of room to follow CDC guidelines for space. There were three of us and we moved on to the next spot which at least had some good outdoor seating.

One of my favorite local coffee shops. The baristas are always so friendly and helpful plus they make consistently delicious drinks. My favorites are the cardamom lattes and dirty chai lattes. Their espresso beans are always fresh and delicious for making drinks at home, too. Lastly, these folks are polite, organized, and consistent with their Covid precautions and practices. Check email out. You won’t be disappointed.

Best coffee roaster in Central Oregon, hands down! Staff are always very friendly & knowledgeable, and many have worked directly with the plantations that source Backporchs beans. The beans themselves are carefully roasted, not burnt. If they still do this & you have the opportunity to go, I recommend you attend a cupping/tasting to experience the different flavors of the different beans. Any of their locations are also just fantastic environments to enjoy time to yourself or with friends!

Coffee was very good. The space inside was bright and airy, perfect for hanging out with friends, getting a little work done, or just relaxing. Staff is friendly and efficient.

This place is hopping in the mornings, yet the staff is able to get you served fast. I get my ground coffee here. My preferred coffee is the Pelaton, however I have not had a bad coffee here. Parking can be a challenge, but just take a lap around the block and a spot will open up. It’s worth the trip.

The best Chai Latte in town. Aside from their product, their staff are great, the atmosphere welcoming and plenty of place to sit. If you need a quiet coffee shop, this might not be the place. It is always busy (maybe not in the late afternoon to evening) and lively. I would say the biggest negative is the parking, but that isnt anything new in Bend.

Great coffee in cozy setting. It was busy when I put in my order and it waited longer than I would have expected for my latte, but it was very enjoyable once it was made. I wish I was sipping a latte there right now! I will be back to this spot again soon!

I really liked this place. Posh, cool setting with great coffee from a simple menu. They offered a nice variety of drinks, local baked goods, and some treats too. Service was very friendly and fast. Prices were expected from a cool coffee shop. The location is perfect for a quick cup of coffee on the way to Shevlin Park.

I came to this coffee shop for the first time last week and loved it! Although it was busy and seemed quite popular I didnt wait for my coffee for more than 3 minutes which was a surprise to me. I had a caramel mocha and it was the best caramel mocha Ive ever had. So happy that I discovered this place for myself I will be a regular from now on I suggest you try it too.

We’ve been coming to Bend for years and drinking the coffee all around town. This has been my husband’s go to for a couple of years now. We like that they get lots of local treats. The coffee is excellent.

There was only one size to choose from for the chai latte, which cost 5 bucks with tip. It was delicious though.

Absolutely love the excellent coffee here. My honey lavender latte had the perfect amount of both flavors. The baristas clearly enjoy what they do. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable; music was just the right volume and the assortment of furniture was perfect for having a cup alone, with a friend, or in a group. We will definitely be back to Back Porch.

Differing opinions on of it has the best vibe, but its definitely the best coffee. Seriously, get the drip and be amazed. No creamer needed. The other drink options are great too, and they partner with local bakeries for the pastries (read: Ocean roll. Seriously. Get one.)

I love this place and frequent all locations, but Im tired of being told you dont take American Express. Its 2019 and you use Square. American Express should not be more expensive for you to accept than any other card.

On a recent yurting trip, all 10 of us had forgotten to pack coffee. Boy oh boy was this place a gem when we drove into town on the second day of our trip! The folks at Backporch Coffee Roasters educated me about coffee. I thought I liked coffee before, but now I love coffee. From explaining to me about their philosophy of roasting, inviting me to their cupping tasting sessions, general friendliness, and highest quality coffee beans; I take their coffee with me when I travel and even have it shipped to India! Its that great!
