My mother recently made a purchase at Old Brick, everything was great until I happened to notice what she was charged for her warranty. She purchased a sofa for around $479 and was charged $299 for the warranty? That seems pretty high, so I decided to call one of the other stores to do a little investigative work, and was told by another sales associate that the correct price should have been $79!!!!!! Wow! We will never do business here again, and we will be sure to tell others to stay far, far away.

We just moved up here from Boston. Kathy is amazing. Our new home is 2x the size of our last and needed all types of things. There was so much to choose from and the prices were not bad at all! Kathy is outstanding with helping design every room to our style. We went to other stores but felt like no one was listening to us. We would highly recommend them!!!

Just had a loveseat delivered curb side on our front porch. My husband and I get it in the house with no issues which is odd. I said that was easy and what problem is likely to show itself because it usually does. So low and behold we unwrap the seat and there it is, the right side has a broken board and the material has half inch cut in the back. Quality control needs to be more observant but the way the world’s work force is lately I would count on it. On a positive note the sale person was very helpful and had truck turn around and pick it back up with in a half hour.Very disappointed customer.

Exceptional customer service! I’m in the middle of moving and looked goodness awful and was still shown the same decency and politeness as if I were dressed to the 9’s. I definitely recommend Old Brick!We love the small sectional and recliner I found for our small home. The customer service rep made sure to get the best color match possible for my husband and I.

JoAnne was very helpful when we bought our new bedroom set. She is an amazing lady to work with. Our furniture was delivered today. The two young men were polite, cleaned up all packing material and answered any questions we had. The wrong mattress size was delivered but we knew in advance that this was going to happen. We hope they deliver the new mattress when it comes in. That is how amazing those gentlemen were! Great job by all!

My wife and I moved to Bennington back in December. We knew we were going to need a lot of furniture for the new house, and with how crazy Covid is, we called ahead to Bennington Furniture to see how they could help. We worked with Brook and she is amazing!! She helped us shop the showroom virtually and ended up picking a beautiful bedroom set and sectional sofa. Once we got moved up here we were so impressed with the service we have been back now for bookcases, tables, a sleeper sofa and many other items. The staff here are amazing. Very customer centric, and the warehouse guys are an all around great group of people. I highly recommend using Bennington Furniture (soon to be Old Brick) and will be buying from them again if I ever need any additional furniture.

We had an excellent experience at Bennington mattress and furniture store. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted with kindness. We were left alone to shop. I bought 2 couches and a TV stand. The prices were right and the quality is very good. Our sales lady, so sorry I don’t remember her name, was super friendly. She called her husband Matt back to the store ( on his time off) to help load our pieces on our truck . We would definitely shop there again. Thank you for your exceptional service.

I needed to purchase a new power recliner. To buy local, we first went to Manchester, as its 9 miles from home.At that Old Brick we were told they did not have much in their inventory, so we should go to Rutland or Bennington.Again, to buy local, we went to Bennington which is closer.I found one power recliner, and wished to buy it. When I discovered that it was the only one available, I asked if there was a discount as it was the floor model. My request was refused.I was told that their pricing is aggressive and my take-away on that was they have almost no competition.To have it delivered, was less stellar . For $49.95, the chair would be delivered into the house. We live about 8 miles from the Bennington Old Brick. We opted for the curbside version, which means that they will deliver, but put it in your garage or on your porch. No charge. Go figure. I understand about covid, but they are allowing their delivery personnel to enter the house if Old Brick gets $49.95?I was planning to purchase other pieces, but perhaps it just might make sense to just go to Albany, expect to pay shipping costs, throw buying local out the window. As far as Old Brick is concerned, true customer service is a dinosaur and profit is their main concern.I used to be in the retail furniture industry, and you had some leeway to create a welcoming purchasing experience, perhaps a savings here, offer a discount there, and you got customers who came back to you because of the relationship that you had built with themI am not faulting the salesperson, she must have been just following orders I told her, She was no fun. There was no give and take. It was just take.

Lisa was so helpful and provided great updates. She made good recommendations based on our needs and didn’t try to up-sell us. She went out of her way to find a place we could see a piece of furniture to try out which she didn’t have and we bought through Bennington. GREAT service.

Great sales rep, a wonderful lady. Spent over 3k. When it came to getting the $800 recliner out of the store the manager in the back told our sales rep no one could help me because the guys were busy in the back unloading furniture in the ware house. So i went to the warehouse myself, got plastics wrap, wrapped the recliner and carried it out alone and it was not light at all. Then they sent me a text asking for a review. I find it funny they wouldn’t help me but they had the nerve to ask for a review, i won’t hold a grudge I’ll help them with the review they asked for.

Purchased a mattress from Bennington/Furniture, now Old Brick. Be very careful on their mattress returns if your not satisfied. The sales person/women, I believe was Lisa explained everything EXCEPT that if the mattress we purchased was returned it would be an additional $400 plus delivery. The delivery was OK, we knew that but when we were looking at mattresses she never mentioned to us that if we were to move up the next mattress it was $400 more. After talking with her, the excuse was I thought you saw the price tags and you knew if you went to a softer one it was more expensive? We believed that it was the same price but one was soft, one was medium NOTA GOOD SALESPERSON SHOULD EXPLAIN EVERYTHING! especially the prices and what could happen if you were not satisfied and needed to make an exchange. Another is the bed topper....you need to purchase in order for the return policy @-$126.00 and I found them at less than $100 after local. Needless to say it was the first time and the last time we purchase ANYTHING from them!

Consultant was never pushy. Allowed me to make my own decision and made the process extremely easy and enjoyable.

I went to Bennington Furniture to replace the five-year-old futon in my bedroom. They had two choices of replacement futons. I bought one. They have promised delivery next week. Quick, easy, friendly service. Whats not to like?

My wife Amanda found a Flex Steel Gliding Recliner on sale on their web site. Brooke was the person I dealt with using the online chat although she was at the Bennington VT store she located the same chair at the Pittsfield store for the same price! The purchase was a breeze, Flex Steel is quarantined for life and I will be back to shop for more! The question is do I replace my Bed, dinning room set or get a matching sectional!
