I called to set up a service call and have ab oat transported to their facility for a simple marine test to check the compression on the motors. When explaining the service I was looking for, the lady was extremely rude and told me to find someone else...bye now. Highly recommend finding another service provider.

Called to see if this place fixed boat leaks and the guy was so rude. He seriously had the worst customer service ever!!!! I will not be coming here to spend my money!

I have been using Boat Specialists now for 4-years. Excellent service, always on schedule and they do great work. I have used for mechanical, canvas and upholstery. I just purchased a project boat this year back in April and within a few months; they have the boat running like new. I also had them do all new canvas on this boat and they reupholstered all the seating in the fly bridge. Great job, great service and great prices. Always treat my wife and I like royalty. I have also had them do a tune-up on my 1985 19’ center console and she runs like a champ (also had them do all the canvas and upholstery for this boat). Love working with them and will continue to do so for many years.

End of the boating season and Boat Specialist owners Joe and Dana have kept both of our boats in great working order, year after year. I find these negative reviews hard to believe since they have taken great care of the two boats for the last 6 plus years with mechanical, electrical, leaks, canvas, eisenglass, carpeting, water tanks, toilets, mattresses and the list goes on of what they have taken care of. I have never felt over charged for the work they have done because it never had to be done a second time, it is done correctly the first time. Thank you Boat Specialists for taking great care of our toys.

I LIVE IN ITASCA AND BROUGHT IN MY SMALL 18 BOAT TO THEIR SHOP. THE STERN DRIVE TRIM WASNT WORKING PROPERLY ANYMORE AND APPARENTLY, IT NEEDED NEW SEALS. I PAID $400 FOR THE REPAIR AND LATER FOUND OUT HOW EASY IT WAS TO DO MYSELF. I FELT I WAS GROSSLY OVER-CHARGED (ALTHOUGH THEY DID TELL ME THE PRICE BEFORE REPAIRING IT AND I DID AGREE TO IT). OH, AND I WAITED 3 WEEKS FOR THE REPAIR TO GET DONE.AFTER THAT EXPERIENCE, I DECIDED TO NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. AND I NEVER DID AND NEVER WILL.BY THE WAY, THE COMPLIMENTARY REVIEW YOULL SEE ON THIS SITE IS BY A PERSON WHO JUST HAPPENS TO HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME AS THE OWNERS.

This shipp is full of scams steering cable Cheng for $1500. Part cost $120 and is 3h job. This shipp is good digger. Poor job after we clean boat from oil and grease 4 hour.

Called for a price to repair my boat trailer. The lady who answered the phone told me she could not help me because I was an out-of-towner and asked me not to call them back! I am a professional and polite person and I pay cash... oh well.

They couldnt fix my boat and told me not to come back after the second time I brought my boat in for the same issue. They mostly do diesel truck repair and I never saw a boat in the shop the 4 times I went there.
