One of the worse Pilots off the interstate. Tucked away on IL-83 it has parking for about 10 trucks, No showers and 6 fuel islands. Waiting fuel here is a nightmare parking situation often has the local police clearing the place out. If you can avoid trying to sleep here unless your lucky to get one of the parking spots. On the other hand other drivers will often block the legal spots blocking everyone else in. Unless your here for fuel, scales and coffee dont bother

There is a manager there named James. He was awesome and knows and practices customer service. If it were not for him I may not have ever got back in my truck. Thanks for taking the time to hunt down someone that could solve my lockout yesterday. You really put in a lot more effort than was required of you, but I’m sure glad you did.

So many trucking companies are in this area. Lets make sure no one actually has a place to park. Seriously. If you cant have more than a handful of parking spots DO NOT OPEN/BUILD/PLAN A TRUCKSTOP.

Great gas station with lots to offer. Low gas prices. They also have restrooms here. There are food restaurant inside with pizza, salads and other food to offer. Very clean with lots of space. Tables are available if you want to buy some hot food and sit down to eat. I recommend this place to anyone looking for cheap gas and a snack at the same time. I will definitely be back here again and again and again. I recommend this location to anyone.

Buyer beware! They have a nice display of flashlights. Sale tag caught my eye. I decide to buy the sale item: $3 off an $11.99 300 lumin light. Oh, but wait! There are 2 rows of same light with the identicals being $19.99. Assistant manager is nearby, bring it to his attention he tells me there is nothing to be done & that the display MUST REMAIN AS IS! There are no more $12 lights & they have extra stock of the $20 light hanging under the cheaper tag. I told him to remove the extras or remove the sale tag. He did neither. Manager wasnt in yet. So I said again then take off the tag! I ended up doing so. He put out his hand & w/o thinking, I gave it to him. Duh! He stuck it back in place!!As a truck driver, I prefer to rest at a Pilot or F/J. Were very limited to locations where we can fit our semi, & so pay the captive outrageous prices typical of truck stops. But I refuse to calmly accept bait & switch marketing! I walked out of this place w/o food, drink, nor flashlight!P. S. Corporate are you listening? Bait & switch is illegal & your assistant manager working at 2 pm on 8/14/21 doesnt know this!

This is a nice little Pilot. Emphasis on little. The big rig truck side doesnt have very many spaces. There are no separate RV spaces. Also since this is technically an express there are no showers here.Overall store is very clean inside out. Its a new facility and the staff seem to be doing a good job keeping it up.

This is a sad excuse for a truck stop. its a rat trap. they need to take the trucks away from this place for the simple fact there is nothing worth while here for the drivers. i have seen better in downtown Chicago. cant wait till they open the loves down the street at least they know how to treat drivers and show appreciation

No showers, but its well-maintained, in a decent area, and they offer a nice selection of eat-in and take-out foods. I really liked the staff members; they were unexpectedly sharp, presentable, friendly, helpful, and seem to be enjoying their work. (Wow@all of that!) Plus, they offer GOURMET😮😃 coffee selections!! Thanks for an exceptionally awesome pit-stop yall! 👍👍

I would run out of fuel before i went back here. worst truck stop ever. Had a truck broke down that parked there at 11pm 7/29. Call threatening to tow the truck. Gave us 15min to call him back but called tow truck before then. Truck got fixed and wouldnt give us an hour to get the driver to the truck. Wouldnt go back here if i was running out of fuel. Maitenence supervisor is a joke, you would think being a facility for truck drivers they would be a little more accomodating.

Called about an item before driving 15 miles to this store, it rang for what seemed like 5 mins before finally someone answered “hello”, I asked can you check and see if you have a product for me before I drive over there? She said nah you will just have to come in and look we are busy. I wouldn’t have minded one bit to wait on hold, but yet was basically told to kick rocks. I’ll call loves and see if they have the diesel treatment I am looking for.

As a 12/4/17 YEAH THEY JUST OPENED A TRUCK STOP.. BUT DONT WAIST YOUR TIME.. LIMIT ON A FUEL ONLY 49 GALLONS.. AND INSIDE IS LIMITLESS TOO LITTLE BIT EVERYTHING IS WORKING.. WHY OPENING WHEN THERE IS EVERYTHING NOT WORKING PROPEPRLY?? SHAME ON PILOT..

Winter time nobody is cleaning trucks are getting stuck... Be careful this pilot dont give points most of the time when getting fuel. No showers. Parking is always full. 5 fuel pumps and always there 3 idiots parked on them for 30 min break. Saturday 11:00pm 3 tow trucks and police are going knocking on the door of every truck if the driver isnt there they tow your truck (cashier told me that when I asked).

I didnt get both names but Destiny was one of the employees who helped me. Stopped to get a snack on way back to work. Will definitely be back. Awesome customer service by both. Friendly, quick, and we even joked a little. Thank you Destiny and co worker. You guys are awesome!!!!Jeff😊😊😊😊

Not a actual truck stop what a waste of time

The store was clean and all the staff was Respectful and professional. I highly recommend they keep the kitchen open 24 hours a day with hot food for us commercial drivers they will make a lot more money doing that. overall they are a great place to stop at for the night.

Pilot is good as usual but drivers don’t care about other drivers waiting in the line. Being at the pump for an hour or more is very disrespectful. Really sad.

Asked to sell me 2 packs of Marlboro reds, cashier scanned the lights and I didnt pay attention and I paid. Later I see that Im not getting my Marlboro reds and I ask to exchange those 2 packs and they told that they cant, its against the policy which is No returns or exchange of cigarettes once you leave the building... I didnt leave the building and still no exchange for me. I called to corporate office and they told me the same thing. Later supervisor Dana removes the policy sign. So there is no policy shows that they cant exchange. Overall I couldnt get what I asked. 7 years as a truck driver I was always getting fuel from Pilot/flying J now Im charging my fuel card so f**k you and Dana. This is one of the busiest and slowest Pilots EVER. Drivers park in fuel island ordering food and whatever holding up folks needing fuel. Problem is the food is not available like most other pilots, they have to warm it up!

Me and my fiance went there (2 months ago)about 10 am the restaurant was closed went in there later and the 2 ladies working the restaurant were probably the rudest people Ive ever met there was one bright spot a young black gentleman who worked the front counter he was very courteous all the other staff needs to be let go no showers no laundry room when we wanted something to eat we took our money elsewhere to this day we do whatever we can to avoid this place I will never go back to that location again the parking for trucks is hideous do not I repeat do not go there

This place is extremely small. I was trying to take my 10 hours break there. I had no hours to go anywhere else. I was waiting for a driver to leave because he told me that I could have his spot. When that driver left I was getting ready to pull in and as I was starting to pull in another truck came up behind me and took the spot. I talked to the manager and they told me there was nothing the could do because it was first come first serve. Now I have to be towed because I am out of hours and nowhere to park. I guess I have to cause a wreak to get a parking spot here at this place when I was already heading to that spot.

Small place not even a proper truck stop and on 11/09/21 at 12am I asked the girl who was working inside for the reserve parking she said she don’t know the place it was 15 minutes away from that location and I asked her if I can just sit in my truck and wait some of the truck to move from parking then I’ll park there then she said no way I can wait here she will call the tow rite away I just think this is not the right behaviour with the drivers please if u need to sleep do not chose this place since they don’t have parking or showers

Stopped here to rest while traveling, it was late and didnt want to spend money on a hotel room for a few hours stay.Was a very quiet parking area that seemed safe, the employees were all friendly and even though there was a sign that said, No Overnight Parking the employees did not ask us to leave and my husband and I slept through the night and into the morning.This pilot does not have showers but they do have a very clean store, restroom, and the location seems to be in a safe part of town.

Excellent service at the Food Station. I am disabled & asked for assistance. The manger rolled out the red carpet as well as Debbie. Assuming she was management as well. Your store is extra clean & bright. Women bathroom was well kept. Isles & self displays were free of dust & neat. Before leaving I was told by Debbie, the next time I was in town to make sure I stopped in to see them, and they would take care of me. Thank you for your a wonderful experience, and great customer service. I will refer my Family & Friends.

I like this place because the gas price was low and there were more than enough fuel pumps that actually work. The store itself was nice and clean and well-organized. the cashier was very friendly.

Best gas station and lowest prices near my work. The discount card helps lower a bit by 3 to 5 cents per gallon. I live in the south west suburbs but drive up north for work to elk grove village. I usually fill up there because most of the time is cheaper than down southwest by my house. Very trucker friendly too.

Stuff very slow, by counter its always long wait. Last 3 times I got coffee and it was totally cold. Today when I saw line, plus cold decaf was cold I just gave up and left.

The only reason why I give this location three stars is because I parked in parking is terrible only having 15 parking spots for a commercial vehicle its kind of hard for us to park I really wish they would take the effort and try to buy the property next door and maybe turn it into a full size pilot because the next closest full-size pilot here is Juliet the staff is friendly fuel Island a small for big rigs thats the only negative I can say is the parking in a few Island in them in the back other than that staff is friendly clean location just needs more parking and more fuel Islands

Pay attention to your pilot card and free drinks. Ive been at that pilot the last 2 days and have only been buying my stuff from there. I just left and about 75 miles away j stopped to get a coffee. When j look at my receipt its 1 of 9 for a free drink. Which means i had a free one today, i bought 2 coffees today, and they still charged me fir it. Dont know if one if the employees is doing this and pocketing the money or qhat the deal is because once thwy scan your card and you have a free drink coming the computers takes off the one you have. Just keep an eye out. Ik nit going to go bankrupt over a caffee its just sad. As far as thebpilot its self its clean but lack of food and the food place is always closed.

One star because you cant park the truck there, is super small and even if find a lot to stay overnight they will come and wake up to check if the driver is in side. Plus there is no shoer for drivers. The place is super busy

Not a full service truck stop, but the Manager was a GREAT MANAGER! Asked about showers, and she explained that the village/city didnt allow the business to provide that service. Parking spots are limited, but if you arrive early enough your chances are better and you can get a VERY DELICIOUS meal (all food prepared in house) and the staff are just as friendly as the manager. Thanks Pilot!!

Haven’t been able to get a decent slice of pizza here yet(in comparison to other pilots)..its always either burnt or dried out.

The staff was as professional as they were helpful. I enjoyed the time I spent here.As a trucker, it would have been better if this location had showers. Unfortunately, due to County codes they cannot.I will definitely be returning to this Pilot Express location whenever I am in town.

Pilot/ Flying J, is my favorite place to fuel. Clean 🚿 shower for us trucker to get clean. Plus the perks. Points accumulated over time from fueling Diesel can surely save you money for quick meals or Petit purchase.

Great service station built just this year. They have an awesome snack and food stand. Only issue is getting in and out. It usually takes way too long at the lights.

I went there at 2:30am, starving, because there are no food joints open around here this late. I was hoping to get some pizza, only to see that the kitchen looked like it was closed. A member of the awesome staff, Alex, offered to make a whole fresh pizza if we were willing to wait 10 minutes - which of course I had no problem doing! His exceptional hospitality and generosity totally made my night, and my stomach thanks him very much! 🤗

A great price for gas tis true. The pilot reward card seems to never work, thus Bank on extra time. To get the the rewards price you need to estimate how much gas you need and go inside to the register to pay for your gas in advance. Adding time, costing me time. I dont like it.

As a trucker pilot has always been one of my favorite spots. It accommodates truck drivers whats a healthy range of food. The best reward system with decent items to purchase with your points.

Very small place and you’re better to just skip it. Even to scale up, you may find yourself waiting... and waiting because morons choose to do their 30min breaks at the fuel island or in front of the scales. Too small for anything.

Theyre charging $2.99 for a half of a container of mac & cheese. RidiculousI asked the girl if thats all that they fill the container up and she said yes. Then she asked me if I wanted more and I replied yes. She said she could fill it up for double the price. I told her hell no, Ill just take what Ive already got.

Good selection of snacks and sundries, and the young women behind the counter take care with their work. For example, putting the heavy items at the bottom of the bag and the softer items on top -- so my snack wasnt crushed. A small detail, but much appreciated.

Very few parking for trucks. Bobtails and cubes park here and go to home. Trucks without drivers should be towed. Trucks can also park on side roads. No showers. Nice staff. Eatery is closed on Sunday.

Looks like popular place to stop and refuel and refresh. Always busy pumps but they move pretty fast. Employees very friendly coffee very good and always fresh.

I like the interior look that it has with the 3 dimensional lettering. As for parking spaces, it only has for what is like 15 trucks.

As usual people was friendly, store was clean, and water was hot. Still think their prices are a bit steep though. I did learn a cool feature I already had with the app from them however. They explained what the rewards points are and that you can use them to buy in store stuff. For every $1 spent you earn $0.01 on your account. If your a Pro Driver that ads up fast because fuel counts and we Pro drivers use allot of fuel. They mentioned another Pro Driver had about those rewards either and after 2 years he had over $1,000,000.00 in rewards.

Their reward card is so complicated. Two time I registered I didnt get any rewards. No body in the store knows about the cards. It very easy for Shell and Thornton to registered their rewards cards and their rewards

This is the worst Pilot I have ever been to. The set up of this location was not done right. Its a very small Pilot, only enough parking for 12 trucks. Trucks were continuously coming in trying to fuel and park but there isnt enough room to turn around if the trucks are in line to fuel up. Also you could get stuck here for a little while if your in a parking space waiting for the truck in line for fuel to move.I went in to the Pilot to find something to eat. I love Pilots with PJ Fresh. But this location, the pizza looked liked it had been sitting there for hours. The other food items did not look appetizing either.So overall Ill do my best to never have to stop here ever again!!!!

Great place to be a pilot

This is just one of those gas stations with a lot inside to offer for instance if you ever needed just a quart of oil or maybe some power steering fluid or maybe some accessories for your phone and you wanted to get lunch it really is quite a bit they have for sale as well as a nice washroom shes very accommodating compared to most anything you would find in the city of Chicago ... as most truckers will tell you you will not find a gas station that comes remotely close to a pilot

Doesnt have showers for OTR Workers / Truckers. Closest one approved for shower quarters was 18 miles away. Nice store as far as a Pilot goes other wise.

The worst experience ever... they can’t wait to tow the truck, cost u only 1400$Don’t park the truck and leave the place... not even for lunch or dinner, the towing trucks stay there and wait for u to leave. Worst experience ever. I went to have lunch with my friend and they tow my truck. Please be very very careful
