I’ve bought four machines from FE2 and each time Ive had a great experience. Mary is always willing to spend time showing me all the features of the machines she offers, and I appreciate how straightforward the shop is about prices. Ive taken machine classes with Mary and all were informative without being overwhelming. Service and repairs by Al are always reliable, and he is very helpful. All in all, FE2 is one of the best sewing machine dealerships I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with!

Best fabric store ever! As a beginner, I can ask them questions and they always have answers, and often times offer up different options. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to help you as soon as you walk through their door. Love these ladies to the moon and back!

Store is tidy, staff are friendly. Lots of quilting fabrics to choose from. Prices that I saw were around $10-13 per yard, though there was a small sale area that had 50% off some and 70% off other fabric. A decent selection of Sullivan embroidery cotton, plus embroidery, knitting, and quilting accessories.Warning: there is no apparel fabric here (unless you choose to use quilting cotton for apparel).

I have gone to this store a few times but every time I am greeted as I walk in the door with a smile and Hi. I have never felt pressured to buy (unlike another store Ive frequented). Each gal is helpful and gives me good opinions when I am trying to make choices on color. I will be taking my first class this coming Saturday and I can hardly wait. I am hoping it wont be my last.

This is a wonderful full service quilt shop. They are very knowledgeable about all aspects of sewing, very friendly, have beautiful fabric and a wonderful selection. They also have a wonderful selection of machines, notions and patterns.

All that my 83 year old grandmother wanted for her birthday was for me to take her to lunch and then to her favorite store, Fabric Etc in Bensenville. My grandmother can get confused at times but overall is with it. She dropped off fabric to have cut and left to browse while the lady cut her fabric. When she came back to grab it the lady snapped at her and was very short with her. I was watching this from close up in amazement. The lady told her it was for someone else, which is wasnt and then couldnt admit she made a mistake. She then looked at the lady she was helping, rolled her eyes and shook her head in disgust like my grandma did something awful. I spoke up at that point to let her know she was with me and that WAS for her. She knows I saw how she treated my grandmother and I hope shes ashamed of herself. Im sorry if you were having a bad day lady but my grandmother spoke nothing but nice things about your shop and has spent a TON of money there buying things and taking your classes. I could not be more ANGRY at how you treated my grandmother. Shame on you! I hope that when youre old and confused someone treats you kinder than you treated my grandmother. Now Im rolling my eyes in disgust. Karma.

Best sewing center period. Customer service! Selection! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, lots of clubs, classes, and discounts. Not just another store.

Lovely spacious store with great selction of fabrics and notions. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. I would heartily recommend shopping there; its worth the trip from anywhere in Chicagoland and beyond.
