Very satisfied with the 2016 Hyundai Sonata that I bought @ Signature which came with $9.99 oil changes for life which Ive done every 3 months for over 5 years now.Recently I discovered that my Hyundai model has an issue withoil consumption which Hyundai is well aware of. Upon discussion with Signature service advisor I was told that because of my regular oil change history that I would be getting a new engine within a month. After 2 months I inquired and Signatures service manager told me that he had no record of this. I feel that someone has lied to me, either the advisor or manager. I then took the issue to the GM who gave me a third story and were in the process of evaluating if I will, in fact, get a new engine. Im not completely dissatisfied at this time, but if the evaluation period passes and I dont get a new engine, I will cease to be a Signature customer. Whos on first?

Very nice staff members, I have to admit. The service however is extremely slow. I elected to leave after my wait started approaching 3 hours and I was told it would be another hour. Yes I did have an appointment, no they doesnt seem all that busy. Like I said before very friendly staff and I hope my experience is not typical.

Disappointed by the lack of communication on an alignment with my MR2. While I feel the tech did a fine job and Mark, the service writer was also pretty solid, the service manager did not communicate with me very well and in the end, I end up paying more than I think I should have. Took my car in for an alignment. Went fine. Took almost 3 hours. Whatever. They couldnt get the camber dialed in to what I was hoping. They did not have camber bolts so all that could happen was they button up the car and head home. Drive it around and see if everything works. Wasnt right so I ordered the 2 camber bolts. Went back and talked with them. I told them I could install the bolts myself or they could do it. Asked what the cost would be. The service manager said it would be $99 for the alignment (normal price) if I installed the bolts. Or $79 (they would give me a deal since it was my second time back) if they installed the bolts. I specifically asked for clarification on this because I found it strange that it would be cheaper if they did it. I just figured they thought they would keep in spec better if they did it and it would take less time in total. It was not clear to me then that I would be charged an hour of shop time per side to install those bolts if they did it. I could have installed them in 5 minutes at home if I did it myself. Ultimately, I was charged $107 for the first alignment, then $212 for the second alignment because the service writer (Mark) knocked off some money for the bolt installation. In the end, the service manager and I had a long talk where he said he was offended that I came back to argue about the charges that we agreed upon. I pointed out that there was a lack of communication and I never agreed to be charged hundreds of dollars to put 2 bolts in that I could easily have done at home. Then he told me that we both have opinions about the situation and that he was going to keep his opinion to himself. I told him that was wise and I wished them both good day and I left. My suggestion: find yourself a good independent mechanic who communicates prices well and then sticks to them. Theres plenty of them out there. Guess who has two thumbs, lost money and is not happy? THIS GUY. Guess who has two thumbs and 5 other Toyota dealerships within 1 hour of his house? THIS GUY.

Very disappointed on the Customer Service at this place. My daughter went to go pick up her car after it was diagnosed. They told her that she had to take it to a Ford dealer. Understandable they could not fix it. My husband and I went with her to pick it up. They tell us to go to the receptionist. Receptionist gives her the receiptAnd points us to the service people. We get there and the Service person tells us that the car is in the back parking lot through the back door. We go outside and searching the lot for the car and no car was to be found. We go back and the service person is busy with another customer so we wait and wait. We asked a gentleman that was passing by if he could help us with our situation and he said that he was busy. Comes back moments later and try’s to help, going outside again to look for the VEHICLE. At this point there is frustration no Vehicle we go back inside and the gentleman says he was going to ask and never comes back. Poor my daughter walks all over the parking lot and finally finds her Vehicle. We lost like more than half an hour. Poor, poor customer service. Lack of communication. Will not recommend this place at all.

Typical dealership complaints. Promised me to work a deal on a trade in beforehand, but once I got there to work a deal, it was hardball and no room for movement on price on my trade in and on the vehicle I was buying. Now my trade in that they couldnt offer 500 dollars more on, is on the lot for almost triple what they gave me.One of the prime reasons dealerships have earned the nickname stealerships by many.

I believe they spilled oil on my manifold theres a very heavy scent of oil for my car running right now and I have a very clean and pristine truck. The customer service rep she was quite excellent explaining going over everything but Im not sure completely about the technician part I will review more in the daylight tomorrow and hopefully take pictures and make a phone call

I brought in my 2014 Toyota Avalon to get a airbag recall completed and also an oil change. When I picked my car up things have been rummaged through my center console and not put back, the gearshift was put on backwards, and they damaged a piece of the chrome finish on the dash when. I complained about it they did pick up the car at my home and fixed the gearshift and apologized for the things left out of the center console however Bill Crowder the general manager of Signature Toyota called me to tell me personally that he was not going to take responsibility for any chrome damage because his guys do not lie and he believes them when they tell him that they did not do any damage. This is unacceptable. The chrome finish was not damaged when I brought it in and it was damaged when I picked it up. I have sent this to the Better Business Bureau and will complain everywhere I go I will never recommend this dealership on any repairs oil changes and or purchases this is unacceptable and poor business strategy.

04/07/2021. Initially, the signature Toyota Benton harbor service manager pitched me a quote for 800$ for diagnosing and replacing 4 spark splugs and wire set Trying to quote me 94$*4 for 4 spark plug wires on my 1999 camry. And the manager who brought me the quote for 360$ for 4 spark plug wires claims he is new to the job and tried to discount me 50$ off 800$, without knowing the actual price. After I questioned, they corrected it to 94$ for a set of spark plug wire set. Realizing the wires come in a set they tore the old quote copy and brought a brand new paper.If I send my friend with less knowledge or If I dropped my car off, How can I trust these people ? I didnt understand why mechanics/technicians are not authorized to explain quotes for customers. I put my 1999 Camry on road as a symbol of reliability, not to get ripped off by the parts and service team particularly at this showroom. Please don’t rip Toyota customers. We come to Toyota to get Toyota parts at Toyota put up prices on the Toyota website, not to know the name of your dealers you work with. They haven’t adjusted the price of spark plugs. They charged me 86$ for 4 spark plugs for 9$ Spark plug each, saying availability issue, Which they already have in stock. And these Denso sparkplugs are readily available for 7$ each at AutoZone /advanced auto parts. Shouldn’t it be vice versa? Should I discuss the importance of dealershipand OEM existence at the counter with a service rep? Nope. I gave my credit card one last time. Charged me 460$ for changing 4 spark plugs and 4 spark plug wires including labor and diagnostics for a 1999 Camry. This review might give insight for a broader audience.

I was on vacation in South Harbor Michigan. I had recently had my oil changed on my 2015 Lexus NX200t by a St Louis area Lexus dealer. The morning before we left for Michigan I noticed a few drops of oil on my garage floor. Thinking to myself maybe they spilled some on the frame during the change so I wiped it up and forgot about it. Monday we drove to South Haven the car was parked overnight . The next morning I noticed a dinner size of oil under the car not just drops but a puddle. Great now what google Lexus the closest dealer is in Grand Rapids more the 75 miles away. Afraid to drive that far I googled Toyota maybe they can help me. I got in touch with Mark McFee the service advisor at Signature Toyota told him my problems he didn’t hesitate and said bring it in, that was about noon. we arrived about 1:15 my appointment was at 3pm. They said the were running ahead of schedule and could get it in right away. The problem was the oil filter was not tightened properly when the oil was changed. I’m not disclosing the dealer who installed the filter as I’m not here to slam their service because mistakes happen. Signature tightened the filter then checked for leaks. They said it looked like it may still be leaking so the replaced the filter and gasket. Now the best part they said they had to charge me for the filter. $7.74 and no labor charge. Who does that? I asked you kidding that’s it? Mark said Toyota / Lexus stand behind service. If Signature Toyota take care of people they likely will never see again it must be great to be one of their regular customers. Thanks Mark Thanks Signature

Let me start by saying that any dealership has but ONE opportunity to earn my 5-star rating. Merely completing a business transaction successfully may earn 3 or 4 stars. Five stars are reserved for the truly elite in my rating criteria. I am rating the entire dealership experience, which means that everyone I came into contact with was pleasant to deal with, and the dealership itself was clean and inviting.Mike was my salesperson who I initially made contact with on FB, and we set up an appointment. The dealership was extremely clean & inviting. Mike was proficient & knowledgeable in answering questions I had, and we put together a deal on a 2021 Rav4 XLE Premium. When I went the next day to pick up the car, it was meticulously cleaned & prepped, and sitting in their beautiful delivery staging area. This merits additional comment: while most dealerships handle delivery out front in the parking lot, Signature Toyotas enclosed delivery area is extremely first-class, and speaks volumes to how they treat customers. It shows that they care about customer comfort, it gives ample opportunity for the salesperson to demonstrate vehicle features & answer questions in a non-rushed environment. I cant speak highly enough of this process. The dealership GM also came & introduced himself, further exemplifying their commitment to customer appreciation. Im looking forward to service visits, where hopefully this trend in customer appreciation will continue.

The staff was friendly and service was awesome. We loved the self service kiosk to sign in. I brought my two year old with me the front desk woman (apologize for not knowing her name) helped me to a quiet room they offer got us set up with snacks and a drink it was great service. My car was due for a routine check up tire rotation did their check points and topped off my fluids. They had us out of their in no time my son didn’t want to leave he was enjoying the cookies to much. Thanks for your service will definitely be coming back in the future!!

I went down to Signature to look at a new car and I am so happy I did. Spencer was super helpful with information and the process of trading my car in. When you walk in the door the employee are more than willing to help and offer drinks and snacks. The woman who helped me finance and understand my payment options was outstanding, she gave me different options and explained them to me. I will always recommend coming here.

Such poor service. Made an appointment two times, throught a sales person. Both times, car not available (over a one hour drive each way). Salesman even tried to blame his lack of professionalism on the time change. Service manager had the car, refused to bring it back. Sales person had no idea where the car was when making appointments and phone calls to us. Clearly no communication. Speaks volumes of this dealership. Apparently a dealer that will say anything to get you in the door. Poor, poor service.

Last week I needed to buy a new car so I went to Signature Toyota and asked for a salesman and I got lucky and Elliott came out to help me, he was by far the best salesman that I have ever dealt with. Elliott was very kind and he made me feel very comfortable. He answered all of my questions and gave me great advise. He went above and beyond to get me what I was looking for. I dont know where to begin with this car dealership we go back over 10 plus years. Carl Harris sold me my first car when I was 20. That was my first time meeting him. He did a fantastic job then. So much so I recently purchase my second car from Carl Harris and he hands down is the best at what he does. Not just a car salesman he is an amazing man! He went out of his way to work with me to get me into a fantastic car and keep me in the loop through the whole process. He finally got me into a toyota after trying so hard the first time around to get me to buy one I caved! I am so glad I did. Love my new car! Had a horrible experience trying to buy a used truck. The salesman was pretty rude at first when i was inquiring about a used Tacoma when i started talking price. Then i was working with the sales manager on talking about a Frontier and all he did was waste my time. Sales guy gave me one price the manger gave me a higher one, and the price on the truck was different from all of them. The manager said he would work with me on the price but he would call me a back later, manager never called. The next day (today) i called 3 times and sent a txt and i finally got an answer, they wouldnt work with me. I have a 765 credit rating (A+ tier) and 7k in hand to put down on a 20k truck all my finances are ready to go right now with my bank. Never should a customer have to work so hard to try and get a deal done. These people have horrible social skills and terrible customer service.

Response is good, they prefer a prior appointment for service request. I like the fact they offer cookies in the sitting area during the wait for your request to complete. Also, offers pick up and ride option if you want to be dropped at work place after you leave the vehicle for service. Nice!

This is for the service center although the dealers seem friendly. This is probably one of the best shops in the local area. Always friendly people working the counter, prompt service, and the courtesy shuttle makes my life much easier. Went to have my car diagnosed, and since this issue wasnt what I thought it was I only paid half of the original maintenance inspection fee. Great service!

Husband took truck in for recall on airbag. Picked up and drove 4 blocks home. Got in truck next morning and could not open door from inside. Even though they did not work on door they still opened numerous times and closed it. When he called representative told him $120 but he did not sat to look at so he assumed that repair and they offered to let him pay half. He gets a call later stating repair will be $350. Reached out to coroprate today and then Bill from Signature calls offering $35 off repair. Will never use Signature again. There was nothing wrong with doorcwhen dropped off. Something happened during recall fix. Dedicated customer going esle.

This is my first car-buying experience in over 10 years. Michael Rzeznick took a great deal of time working for me in regards to the sale including help in getting the best financing. I stopped in here with a Prius that had a maintenance light on. I was on a road trip, told the service adviser that I just wanted to be sure the car was safe to drive and would not break down. He told me that the light usually comes on when an oil change is needed, he added that they could do a diagnoses for $99 and apply that to any repairs I might need. So, I agreed - he estimated $175 max.- because i didnt want the car to break down on my trip. Then they proceeded to tell me I must replace the two air filters, that a valve was possibly failing (which they could fix TOMORROW for nearly $600) and that if I didnt replace it then I would end up with a $3000 repair- using fear tactics and manipulation. Then when I was told how much my visit was going to cost (over $250) they did not apply the $99 to the services I had done. They clearly were not interested in listening to me-used fear tactics to try to manipulate me into buying services and repairs that I did not need AND...When I was shown what needed to be done on my vehicle they had pulled a liner loose from the front passenger wheel well- I had been driving for some time on the freeway with no issues but the maintenance light coming on- as soon as I got in the car to leave there was a flapping noise coming from that wheel well- I had to stop and fix it myself on the side of the expressway!!!Completely unacceptable service department. They dont listen, they manipulate and lie to try to make more money. Just because I didnt buy my car from you doesnt mean I should be treated this way.Honesty is a better policy. Be helpful and kind.Stop stealing from people who work hard out here for every dollar in our pockets.

We have a Prius V and the small mud flap had came loose. I figured it needed one of those press nylon rivet. So when I went to parts I ask the parts person to come look at it since was easier to show him then to go to the parts diagram. He looked at it, which required laying on the ground. He got a couple of nylon rivets, however they didnt fit so went back in a got some others. Well it turned out it was a screw and not the nylon rivet. He put the screw in again laying on the ground. Also, made a trip to get a screwdriver. He probably spent 20 minutes doing this. I got out some money to give him a gratuity but he would not accept it. I also ask what I owed for the screw, and said nothing! WOW what service which one doesnt get often. Its the little things that count. I will remember this and will pass on this experience. I called two days ago and talked to Mark in Service about putting 4 tires on my Rav4. He called back the next day with an estimate and told me they had the tires in stock. He set me up for an appointment to install them at 3:30 yesterday. I took off work, drove over, and they put my car up to remove the tires. Then they told me they had sold the tires earlier in the afternoon. I was offered a more expensive tire if Id like to buy those. I told them no, this was extremely irritating, and Id rather go home and think about whether or not Id like to buy tires from them. No apologies at all until I talked to the service manager and told him I had not even received an apology for the inconvenience. Mitch apologized and then told me thats the way they do things. They keep one set of tires, and if somebody buys them first, they are gone. Perhaps someone could have held the tires for me, called me to tell me they were sold or they could have told me to call beforehand to make sure they didnt sell. Theyve lost my business, and with Mitchs shrug, I guess they really didnt care.

I really like to think about a decision before I make it and this was no exception. I checked at many dealerships before deciding to work with Signature Toyota. I know that I made the best decision because everyone that I worked with and saw at the dealership genuinely care about their customers. I have joined a family of happy motorists and I notice the Signature logo on the backs of vehicles in many parking lots. Skip the heartache and work with Signature is my advice and Chris Salenas is excellent to work with if your looking for a customer experience sales person to work with you.

I want to say what a great dealership this is. We worked with Mike Rzeznik. This was my sons first financed car and as parents we went early to check out the car. Mike was waiting for us to test drive. He answered all my questions although I am sure I asked way too many. He was very patient and kind. My son was concerned about what he could afford and Mike took his offer to the general manager, Bill Crowder. Bill worked with our son to get him where he wanted to be. We had to pick up the car for our son and all the cleaning and detailing was completed. Even after the sale I called Mike and he was very nice. My son happened to be working in the area but after their customer service we will definitely consider buying a car from them. Thank you Mike and Bill.

My wife and Is experience with Signature Toyota was the best car-buying experience either one of us had ever had. Bill and his team worked exceptionally hard to help us pick out a car that was perfect for us. They were incredibly friendly and honest and spent a great deal of their time working with us over the course of several days.We were incredibly impressed with the lengths that the team went through so that we could purchase a new car that fit into our budget and was dependable. I am sure that we would have never received the high level of customer service at any other dealership.When we finally drove our new car home we had absolutely no second thoughts because of the amazing deal we were given. Our new car is wonderful and we can sleep easy at night because of how much faith we have in Signature Toyota. Went four times with no fix in the service department. The plastic in my dashboard has been making a rubbing sound for over a year now. Worked with Ron from service and he replaced the speaker cap two times with no result. The third time they put foam tape around the cap which took the sound away for less than a week. After calling again I was pawned off to another service person, Jen. She said the speaker cap needed to be changed, and when I questioned this, since this hadbeen done more than once, she insisted she was 99 percent sure this was the case. So, I went along with it(she also mentioned someone put way too much tape on, it so it was not fitting right, this was done at their dealership). During this time I also brought my car in for the maintenance (20k). After maintenance was done and I was on my way, I was called and told that my Toyota care had expired last month, so I owed some money.A little irritating to find out after it was done, but ok. I call today because I work more than 40 hours a week and this was my first day off. When I call, I talk to Ron and he said hes not familiar with my issues (really??). Jen calls back and tells me its no longer under warranty (really??). So she talks to her manager. I get a call saying they wont talk about it until I pay for the oil change, which I was going to pay for when I came in for them to look at my truck again, the fourth time now. I have never failed to pay them before, so not sure why this was their excuse for not even talking about the issues they have unsuccessfully fixed four times now. Also they cant look at it for over a month at this point once I pay the oil change bill. Their lack of pride in their work is embarrassing. Go to Metro in Kalamazoo if you want more than an oil change.

Had a bad experience getting the 60k mile service done on my 4Runner. Waited unnecessarily long after work was finished, and was billed for parts and work not performed. I only knew because I overheard a phone conversation.Id heard bad reviews on their service, but I wanted to give them a chance. I purchased my first car from Signature Toyota after living in the area for nearly 20 years and hearing, in general good things. First I was talked into buying the Sonata Hybrid and after two months, it has been a wonderful car. No complaints 5 star rating. The dealership was a different story. I complained right away about the navigation because it didnt appear to be up to date. Not showing or showing incorrect addresses for several places that have been at their current location for several years. Additionally, I advised the hands free was at best inconsistent and caused me to not want to use it. I heard nothing for 3 days and called back to talk to the salesman. His answer to my problems were to use my iphone for navigation and siri for verbal calls. Not once have I heard back from the dealer about any other items. Great car!!Lousy dealership. I have purchased at least 30 new cars in my lifetime and this is without a doubt the worst follow up I have ever received.

Low pressure staff that is not commission based. Just all around friendly folks. Unlike a nearby dealership where even the service department is armed with high pressure sales people trying to upsell you with scare tactics when you go in for service work

I will NEVER do business with them. Took our vehicle there for a recall. Received a call from them saying they noticed that the front ball joints needed to be replaced and gave me a quote. I declined because I wanted to take it for a second quote. They said it was UNSAFE TO DRIVE, also printed that on my receipt for the recall. I took it in to Pro Muffler and they said front ball joints are perfectly fine. Is this how they do business, by scaring customers into needless work? Beware and always get a second opinion.

Heading from Lansing to Illinois and we heard a noise from the front wheel well growing louder. Pulled over and was relieved to find a Toyota dealer nearby. Called late in the afternoon and they said they would help me immediately - they were very understanding of our truck full of family on a trip.Technician repaired the broken wheel well clips in the parking lot and zip tied the missing clip so we could get back on the road asap. They didnt charge me. We were in and out in 15 minutes.I dont know whether to be amazed at their outstanding service or whether I have just grown accustomed to outstanding Toyota service. I highly recommend this dealership. Thank you for getting our trip back on track.

Although I purchased my at the time (2006) dream car. The service was fraudulent in its intend. I get its a business. You are the most valued customer until you signed those documents. Then they no long care for you or any issues they may arise from your newer vehicle. The staff make excuses until they run out of them and then they do the right thing and address the issue properly. Sales rep tell you what they want you to hear, simply put. I have spoke with several people who have had negative experiences from that place purchasing new and used cars. from Toyota to an Evo 8. Take into account it has been since 2006-08 since my experiences, hopefully things have changed.👇👇Check out the GMs response. They just raised the price of there oil change for no reason. They charge you for a synthetic oil change even though I bring in my own oil that is conventional oil. Some how synthetic oil is harder to put in then conventiona.

Megan Smalley, I bought a 2012 Honda Insight used from Signature Toyota I had it for 15 months and started having problems with it! Took it into Signature to have it diagnosed and they miss diagnosed it and charged me $500.00! Then I had to take it to Tyler Honda dealership in Stevensville and they had to put a new engine in it. Tyler put a used engine in it and it cost me $2,628.97 on top of the loan Im still paying through Signature Toyota this used car is costing me out my rear! Honda did do me right but if youre going to buy a used car I suggest you go to anyone but Signature Toyota. They brag about having a 160 point inspection well I guess Signature forgot all about inspecting the lemon they sold me! If you want to get screwed on a used car, just go to Signature Toyota! They have lost a loyal customer because this was the second car I bought from them! NEVER again!!!

I suggest no one has to do business with Signature Toyota Benton Harbor MI. I visited them for a Certified Toyota Camry. They sold defective but certified Toyota Camry 2015 on Friday May 25th. Sales Manager Larry Arel gave me the key at 6.20pm and closed the door. I found Multimedia is not working. I show Larry Sales Manager leaving in his vehicle I try to stop him but he didn’t stop and left. Next day when I go there Sales Manager told me need to flash the SW, only 15 Minutes work have to come on weekdays. My wife visit them on May 29th than they told her that they order new multimedia system within four day they going to receive and install. But till today I didn’t got call from them and my temporary registration is expiring on Jun 9th I’m expecting a call from them but I didn’t received any message from them. Height of the misbehavior of Larry is here. With my wife I visited (June 9th) them Larry told me he doesn’t have any information and he’ll update me when he got information you guys can leave out. This people are good and listening you until you pay them. I feel cheated.I dont want to gave them any star but without star I cant post. This entire repair is and always was at no cost to you !!!! ????? Offering you a free fix immediatelyVehicle I purchased is certified, Every One knows Certified means Bumper to Bumper warranty for one year from Toyota because buyer pay $1500 to $2500 on top of non certified price of vehicle.Dealership not only cheating customer but cheating Toyota company as well.
