A wonderful experience! I absolutely recommend! We had gone to several other local carpet stores on a gloomy Saturday morning, and felt like we were bothering the sales staff. One barely got up out of his desk on the other side of the sales floor to even acknowledge us. They helped us, but with more of a used car salesman feel. Then we walked in to Carpet Mart and were greeted immediately by Tom! We told him our needs and what we thought we might be looking for. He took us in the warehouse and explained the remnants and how theyre priced, and what they are. The prices and sizes are clearly marked and if any are their top of the line brand, Karastan, then they are clearly marked Karastan. The remnant price signs are clear and easy to read and make sense of. Tom needed to help another customer but said hed be right back. At that point, he had already gone above and beyond the other stores Id been in that day. I decided right then and there I dont even care about prices anymore (which were below the other places and for a better carpet), my sale is going to Tom! He came back and of course helped us beyond belief, explaining carpet pad options, letting us walk on them, etc. SOLD!Carpet Mart is a family business, and it shows. They care about their customers and treat them right! John, Toms dad was driving by and saw all the cars in the lot and stopped to be of help! (The other carpets stores had no cars in their lots that day!)We had measurements but John called a couple days later to set up a time to come out and double check them. The install was 2 weeks later and the installers were professional, quick, and clean. They did an excellent job! I love my thick lucious new carpet!Bottom line, USE CARPET MART! To everybody Ive told about my new carpeting, Ive also insisted- use Carpet Mart! For my future flooring needs, I will definitely be back!

I recently had carpet installed at my condo and it is beautiful. Carpet Mart is a very friendly, customer oriented business. When I walked in I was greeted by Tom who was so very knowledgeable and friendly - he helped me pick out carpet samples from overstocks they had which also helped to save me some money. I highly recommend Carpet Mart for your carpet and flooring needs.

We did go elsewhere, but I was glad I returned to Carpet Mart in Benton Harbor. New merchandise & nice selection for area rugs. Friendly service as well.

Had new carping installed in our downstairs large family room and bedroom. this included removing old carpeting and pad. john and his team are very professional and did excellent job on this project, including helping with carpet selection. installation was also excellent and timely.

Great experience amazing work

Beware. I had carpet mart put carpet in living room and down hallway. Year later carpet is coming apart and we have a seam showing in the middle of hallway. Worse carpet ever. Probably have to replace soon. We only had the carpet for year. When they came out and measured and told me there would be seam is hallway and across living I question this and was told they had the best installer and we wouldn’t see a seam. Feel so lied to.

John and the Carpet Mart crew were more than helpful in our purchase of an area rug and carpeting. They were price competitive with a good selection, very informative, patient, accommodating in scheduling, and great in follow-through. Every question and issue was researched and/or answered in a timely manner. They really do care that the customer is very satisfied. BH Carpet Mart is a true example of great customer service with a great product line!

Best place for service and flooring!!

I stopped in Carpet Mart on a Wednesday, John came out to do an estimate on Thursday, and because we chose something in stock it was installed on Tuesday. I realize this isn’t the normal turnaround time. We were fortunate to find what we liked in stock, and there happened to be an opening in the installers schedule. Needless to say, the Carpet Mart team earned 5 stars from us and we will go back in the future for our carpet needs.

We have supported John and the Carpet Mart crew for 25 years. In our own home and our rental houses. For a rental house, they have durable carpet at an affordable price as they have plenty of remnant and in stock carpeting in the back room. We just recently purchased some Karastan carpeting for our living room. The carpet we had in there previously was 25 years old and still holding up but just a little dated. The new carpet is so plush I can’t stop walking on it. LOL. John even had certain installers that just do the Karastan installation, which they did with perfection. John and Rhonda are super friendly and very accommodating as we had asked them to do several things for us before we made a decision.
